NARRATOR POV
Richard got to Alex’s room and saw him still looking the same with dark circles beneath his eyes. He sighed and moved to him.
“Alex, please you have to stop this, you are getting everyone worried, come on man”. He sighed stood up and wandered around for a while. ” You know what, I actually think this is your fault”.He said and stood in front of him, then he picked up Aurora’s photo from the shelf and showed it to him.”This is your fault, Aurora died because of you, you killed her!”. He yelled and he noticed Alex’s body reaction. ” I guess is working”.He continued. “If you had been by her side, she would still be alive today, it was obvious you never loved her, she is dead because of you!”. He continued yelling and Alex was starting to react with it as the word of Aurora kept echoing in his head.
” Stop”. He said weakly but Richard kept talking and blaming him for what happened. “Stop!”.
” You are to be blamed for this, Aurora is dead because of you! You should have been there–“. He got interrupted as Alex yelled and threw a pillow at him.
“Stop! No, no, Aurora is not dead!”. He yelled and Richard moved to him and he pushed him away and ran out of the room.
” Alex!”. Richard called and ran after him. “Alex, where are you going?”. He came out to see him coming out of the gate.” Oh no! Alex!”. He chases after him.
Alex was wandering around the road muttering Aurora’s name.
“Aurora, Aurora”. He muttered and everyone was staring at him like he had gone insane. ” Aurora is not dead!”.
“Alex!”. Richard cried out his name as he saw a car coming toward Alex at full speed, he rushed to him and pushed him out of the road and both fell on the floor. ” Alex, come to your senses”.
“Let go of me! I want to go look for Aurora”. he struggled hard with him, but Richard was holding tight to him.
” You can’t find her”.
“Let me go!”. He screamed and burst into tears. ” Aurora!!!”. he kept struggling to get loose from Richard’s grip, but he was holding tight to him.
“Let it out Alex! I won’t stop you”. he said as tears crawled down from his eyes.
” Noooo! Give me back my Aurora! Aurora!!!”.he kept screaming and crying bitterly. everyone was staring pity at him.
Suddenly, the weather became clouded as heavy rain started dropping on them, everyone ran to hide from the rain still staring at the two men under the heavy rain. The rain lasted for hours and it stopped, Alex was still sobbing.
“Come on Alex, let’s go”. He helps him up, but suddenly, he is caught off guard as Alex pushes him off and runs into a moving car.” Alex!!!”. He screams his name surprisedly.
The car picked Alex up and rolled him over, he fell on the floor with blood gushing out from his head, slowly he closed his eyes and lost consciousness. Everyone watching gasped in surprise. Richard rushed to him quickly

“No, no, Alex please wake up! Alex!”. he panicked. ” Someone help me!”. He screamed and then a cab came, and stopped in front of them and they helped Alex to the car heading to the hospital.

••Hospital••
Richard was seated at the lobby waiting for the doctor. Elizabeth was seated next to him looking worried.
“What is really wrong with him? Did he want to die because of a woman?”. Elizabeth said angrily.
” Why will you say that, everyone in Alex’s shoes will do that, the woman you question is not just a woman but his wife!”.
“Really? How is she his wife, no one knows that they are married, it’s not official”.
” Will you stop! you should stop talking right now, because is not helping”. he said unlikely.
“But I am just stating the obvious”.
” Well, Don’t! Have you ever been in love with someone that you couldn’t do anything without that person and when a tragedy struck, one of you had to lose your life”.
“But–“.
” No, but, if you have lost someone you deeply love with all your heart, you will understand the pain Alex is going through right now”. He said and Elizabeth rolled her eyes.
Just then Mrs Stella and the rest came to the hospital after Richard had called to inform them of what happened to Alex.
“Richard, where is my son?”. she sobbed.
” Calm down aunt, the doctor is inside with him”.
“Oh no, why my son”.
” Aunt, stop crying, nothing will happen to him”. Elizabeth said.
“Are you ok?”. Nina said to Richard and he nodded. ” Everything is going to be fine”. She hugs him.
“What is taking them so long, God please save my son”. Grandpa said sadly.
After a while, they were seated waiting for the doctor, while Elizabeth left to attend to some patients.
” How is Aurora Granny coping? Has she been able to eat?”.Richard asked.
“She is coping gradually and I manage to force her to eat a little, but that is not helping”. Nina said and Richard sighed.
” Now that Erica is around, she will be able to look after her”.
“Yeah, I saw her before leaving, did you hire her?”.
” Not really, she has always been available to look after Aurora’s Granny when she is not around, Alex hired her, so I had to call her to come back because of what happened”.
“Ok, that’s nice”. They went mute for a while. ” By the way, did Alex let out his emotions?”.She asked and Richard nodded.”That’s a relief”.
“Yeah, but right now, Alex needs us, he tried killing himself today”.
” I can’t blame him, he is just traumatized, he needs his woman”. Nina said sadly.”I still haven’t accepted Aurora is dead, I just can’t believe it”. She sniffs.
“Come here”. Richard pulled her into his arms.” Everything will be fine”. he reassured her. Just then the doctor came out from the emergency room and they rushed to him.
“Doctor, please tell me my son is ok?”. Mrs.Stella sobs.
” Everyone calm down, he is fine and out of danger”. He said and they all sighed in relief.” He didn’t sustain any bone fracture or brain problem, he will be fine in a few days”. He said.
“Thank you so much doctor”. Grandpa said.
” You are welcome, but right now, you all need to keep an eye on him, he might do something unthinkable with the trauma that he is now, don’t let him leave your sight”. he warned and they nodded.
“Don’t worry about that doctor, he will be my responsibility from now on”. Richard said.
” Ok, you all can go and see him, he is in room five”.
“Thank you so much doctor”. Mrs. Stella said.
” It was a pleasure, please excuse me”.He left and they left to the room where Alex was.
Alex was still unconscious, as a drip was fixed on him and a white bandage was used around his head. his mother moves to sit next to him caressing his hand.
“Please son, don’t do this to me”. She sobs.
” Stop crying, the doctor said he is fine”.Grandpa said and they sighed.

Two days later, Aurora’s body was lay to rest among tears. Everyone was around to give their last respect, except for Alex who was still unconscious in the hospital. Nina couldn’t hold back her tears as she kept sobbing uncontrollably in Richard’s arms while Erica was holding onto Granny as she kept crying.
“Why do you have to leave without saying goodbye”. kessy sobs and is consoled by the rest staff who came as well.
After the priests quote some verse in the Bible and encourage the rest to move on. Every one of them placed flowers on her grave, and it got to Nina’s turn, she dropped the flower on the grave and passed out, Richard was quick enough to grab her and everyone gasped in surprise.
” Nina”. He panicked and carried her in his arms and walked away with his family following him behind.
Everyone started to leave the cemetery in sorrow, Erica took Granny back home. Richard carries Nina to the car and lays her down in the backseat.
“Is she alright?”. Mrs.Judith asked.
” Here is water, Richard”.Juliana said as she gave him the water. Richard started to sprinkle the water on her face.
“Come on Nina, don’t do this, please open your eyes”. Richard said tensely as he continued to sprinkle water on her and she began to regain consciousness.”Nina”. He gave the water back to Juliana.
” You should take her home, Richard, she needs to rest”.Mr.Wilson said.
“Sure”. he lay her gently on the backseat and then hurried to the driver seat and drove off. his family stares after them as they disappear from their sight.

••Hospital••
Elizabeth was beside Alex on the bed and she was caressing his face while smiling lovingly at him.
” I can’t wait for you to be fully mine”.She giggled and Alex began to regain consciousness.” I love you so much Alex, we are made for each other”.
“Aurora”. Alex muttered quietly.
” Don’t worry, I will make you forget her for good”. She smiled and kissed his forehead and Alex opened his eyes to meet hers.”You are awake”. She smiled at him.
