Jessica was completely drunk as she layed helplessly in her safe spot……the school’s balcony

She laughed bitterly as tears rolls down her eyes…. each memories of her life becoming faker by the minute

Now she understands why Carlson never liked her…..now she understands the hate…….now she understands why each time things are being done…she will always come out last…… that’s because she was never a member of the family

She’s just a closure…….to protect Vanessa’s interest

Vanessa????……..she was being separated from her family because of herrrr

Jessica grips her head as she felt like dying…….why would anyone do this to her?………what has she done to deserve this?

Footsteps from behind made her look back but she turned instantly

” I want to be alone” she said in a cold voice as anger laced through it

” Jessica I want you to understand that I’m also hurting here……..you doesn’t have to be like this between us” Vanessa said from behind and Jessica scoffed

” Oh really?……..why wouldn’t you say that?…….you weren’t the one that got separated……I don’t expect you to understand” Jessica said brashly as she continues to drink……..not minding her condition

” What are you saying?………do you think I’m happy to find out that Dad isn’t really my father………we were both treated badly…… don’t make it seem as if you are the only one here” Vanessa said and Jessica stood up……her legs were wobbly but she managed to stand

” I got separated from my family!!!!……..I was stolen……. your mother kidnapped me because she wanted to protect you!!!……. don’t you see that I’m the victim here?……..I lacked the love my biological mother would have traveled miles to give me……..I lacked happiness……… and you are saying that we were both treated badly?………they are your family…. it’d understandable…….but what about me?……the pains I had to go through all those years…….” Jessica said as more tears pours down

” I understand but……I also have been living a lie……..I know you were cheated badly….. Morgan hurt us all and………” Vanessa was saying and Jessica started laughing crazily

” Vanessa….. I’m trying my best not to hate you for what happened to me so I’d suggest you just leave…… please go away from me” Jessica said and Vanessa stood stunned

” Jessica…. please I don’t want things to get complicated between us…….. let’s go to Morgan……we deserve an explanation…. please” Vanessa said as she tries to hold Jessica but she she shifted backwards

” Morgan is seriously sick……..her chances of surviving isn’t even secured…… she’s in coma….how would she explain to us?……I don’t even want any explanation from no one…….your family have more than enough damage to my life….. just let me be” Jessica said as she turned her back on Vanessa

” Jessica……””

” Please Vanessa…….I don’t want to have this conversation with you anymore…….go away!……… please…….mind you….my name is Andrea” Jessica’s voice broke down and Vanessa nods…….she slowly left as Jessica falls on her knees crying her heart out……..she actually said that last part with so much difficulty

Vanessa angry strides towards her room made her unaware of who’s coming as she bumped into the hard body and fell flat on her butt

She winced as she looks up to see George…… staring down at her

He pulled his hand out to reach for her and she reluctantly takes it…… standing on her feet with his help

” Is everything okay?” He asked with concern

” I’m fine” she mumbles and made to leave but he pulled her back……she looks at him and saw how concerned he was about her

” You don’t look fine………you can tell me what’s bothering you” he said and she shuts her eyes closed

” George I’m fine……you don’t have to worry about me” she said and made to walk away but he blocked her path again…… this got her really irritated

” I just can’t let you go if you don’t tell me what’s bothering you Nessa” he said cooly and she held her temples

” For fucks sakes George I’m fine!!!…….why don’t you want to understand that!!!?…..why are you acting like a fucking spy that’s being sent to monitor my life!!” She fires and he’s face furrows in confusion

” I’m not a spy Vanessa” he said as he placed his hand on his chest

” Then stop acting like one and move outta my way” she said sterning and made to leave when Dylan suddenly held her hand from behind…….she turned sharply and her gaze softens almost instantly

” Dylan?” She called and he small smile plastered on her face…… George clenched his fist

” Are you okay?…….I saw you walking angrily ” he said and she made to answer when George interupted

” As you can see…..she was talking to me before you waltzed in…….. and yes she’s fine so you don’t need to worry about her…” George said as his blood boiled from within

” Are you fine Toughie?” He asked and Vanessa shakes her head negatively…… this made George eyes widened…….but she told him she was fine earlier

Dylan look at George and shakes his head…….. this made George look like a complete fool and a joke to himself

” I’m not fine Dylan……I just have some things on my mind……” She trails and he pulled her close to himself…… making sure George couldn’t get hold of her

” I know just what you need……” He said as he pulled Vanessa along with him…… staring back at George as he winked at him mockingly……

the smirk on Dylan’s face made George eyes red…..he clenched his fist tigher and felt his long nails dig into his skin…..

He watched as Vanessa walked away with Dylan and he felt a tap from behind……he didn’t bother to turn because he already knew who it was

” How much time do you need?” He said with gritted teeth as his breath almost got ceased in his throat

” Soon……. and all these will be over”

A creppy smile formed as he walked away without looking back

“Dylan were are you taking me?……. I’ve got to prepare for my exams” Vanessa whined as they got to where Dylan’s car was parked

” You were really worried when I saw you……I figured you need something to clear your mind……you won’t be able to read in this mind state……so just calm down” he said

” Fine…..can I at least know where we are going?” She asked

” It’s a surprise……. come on… hop on let’s go” he said and she hesitated

” We just can’t leave the school premises……” She said worriedly as she crossed her hands together

” I promise we won’t take long…… let’s go” he said as he pulled her hands and she gave in…….. sitting behind him……he gave her an helmet and she wears it….. driving off the school premises

George watched as they left…….he thought of following them but Ashley was behind him so he discarded the thought

Morever…… it won’t take long for him to finish Dylan off for good

Vanessa couldn’t help but smile as the ride eased her stress……she hugs Dylan as he speed on the highway……..she loves fast rides but Dylan’s was scaring…….she tried not to yell at the speed he was going

He finally pulled up and she sighs………he head was wobbly due to the ride and she felt like throwing up……she hops off and takes the helmet off slowly

She looks around and that was when she noticed they were in the woods!!!

” Dylan……. are you trying to kill me?” She asked and he laughed hesterically

” Why would I kill you?……. come with me” he said and she reluctantly takes his hand as he enters into the woods

The place was so quiet that she believed they were the only ones here

Why would Dylan even know a place like this?

What if some wild animals jump out from nowhere and kills them both…….. what if they get lost?

All these thoughts made her stopped and Dylan turned

” Toughie you don’t have to be scared……. remember I told you I have a surprise for you and that’s where we are going” he said….. taking her hands again but she pulled into him instead…… hugging him tightly as her body was shaking visibly

” A surprise in the woods?…….. that’s absurd and I don’t like isolated places” she said as her tongue collides with each sentence coming out of her mouth

” Just relaxe……I got you” he said and she shuts her eyes……. by now…. she’s on his back as he carried her like a light paper…….. walking deeper into the woods

Vanessa felt him stop walking and she opened her eyes…….

She looks over his shoulder and her jaw dropped instantly………she didn’t know when she slides from his back and walked up front

The view was something amazing as different feeling rushed through her

The neat green grasses and different colors of beautiful flowers filled the entire space as a cliff was spotted up front

On the end of the clif was a water fall……the sight was breathtaking as Vanessa continue to gosh at it all

” How did you find this place?…….. it’s so beautiful!!!” She semi yells as she runs towards him…… giving him a big hug

” I’ve known here for a while now…….. it’s calmness helps ease my nerves each time I’m in a really bad mood……. I’d thought it will be nice if I share it with you” he said and she looks at him……

Now she’s definitely being stubborn about her feelings for this boy……… maybe she’s just attracted to his gestures and the niceness……she can’t possibly be interested in him personally

She breaks the hug and he held her hand…… taking her under a beautiful tree that matches with the rest of the beautiful surrounding

” You are hurting……… what’s bothering you?” He asked and she fiddles with her hands

Is it right for her to confide in him…… there’s nothing going on between them but she suddenly feels like she could tell him anything

But she fought the urge

” It’s just something personal……. everything is going to be fine” she said as she looks away but his hand found it’s way to her face….. making her face him

” I too wouldn’t be fine if I found out the people I called family aren’t really my family……. Jessica’s pain and anger is completely justified……. your mom hurt her badly and she needs a lot of time to heal” Dylan said in one go and Vanessa’s shock was evident

” How did you know?” She managed to ask and he chuckles

” When I’m interested in something……. everything about that thing becomes my business…… just give her sometime…… she will definitely come around” he said and she couldn’t help but marvel at his words

Who’s that?

” You know……we had a real rough time growing up……..I never really understood my mom because everything about her seems complicated…….the man I called my father isn’t even my biological father…..my mom used to be a wh*re!” Vanessa spat spat

Dylan pulled her in for a hug as she cried her eyes out……..he allowed her vent her fustrations because that’s what this calm place is for

She sniffles as she raised her head to meet his burning gaze on her……

She’s attracted to him no doubt

This sudden solace she gets and how comfortable she feels each time she’s in his embrace made her feel safe

She’s gradually falling for this bad boy here and she doesn’t regret it……. he’s slowly becoming part of her daily routine……she needs him in other to be at peace

Her thoughts got interupted when she saw his face leaning closer to her’s……… and her gaze landed on his lips immediately not even giving it a second thought before her eyes moved at it’s own will

She isn’t going to deny it anymore…….with the small distance from the both of them…..her hands subconsciously found it’s way over his shoulder….. pulling him even closer to her because that’s just what she needs right now

Her eyes….. closing as each part of her body anticipated for what’s coming but the ringing of her phone made him pulled away from her embrace

She mentally cursed as she saw a call from Scarlett but she ignores it….. Dylan was already standing by then……she stood up….. expecting him to make a move at least…….

But he took her hands and started leaving

She smiles…………..he may be a bad boy but he sure knows how to keep things going smoothly…..he doesn’t want to make her uncomfortable and if he’s indirectly giving her time for her to get her feels together then he should hurry up because she’s in for whatever he has going on in his head

Jessica walked towards the school…… after her little argument with Vanessa…..she feels like she may have said some things that deserves an apology

Even if they aren’t sisters…..the bond between them shouldn’t be broken because of what Morgan did…… it was her mistakes and they don’t have to pay for it

A red car pulled in front of her and she stopped abruptly……. Rosetta coming out of it and Jessica stood numb as she looks at the woman….. her biological mother

A faint smile on Rosetta’s face as she walked towards Jessica….. pulling her in for a hug….. Jessica hands trembled as they hugged Rosetta back……it took a while for her to get comfortable as she melts into her mother’s touch

Rosetta broke the hug as she wipes the tears on Jessica’s face

” It’s okay if you don’t want me to call you Andrea…… I’m ready to live with that but please….you have to come home with me…… your dad is dying to see you” Rosetta said and Jessica didn’t know how or what to feel……… everything seems so strange

” Home?” Jessica asked as she looks at Rosetta

” Yes darling…… home….where you belong…….” She said and Jessica wriggles out of her embrace

” I just can’t come with you…….I still have school and I don’t know…… everything is happening so fast….I need time to breath” Jessica said and Rosetta nods in understanding

” I know all these is hard to take in at once…… I’m willing to give you time but always know that I will be here whenever you need me okay my child?” Rosetta said and Jessica nods

Rosetta hands her her card and Jessica immediately walked away……..the air was becoming stuffy and she needs to breath

She turned back and saw Rosetta staring at her

Why is it so hard for her to accept her as her mother?

HOSPITAL

Helen stood outside Morgan’s ward as the doctor attended to her urgently

Helen clasped her hands in excitement because Morgan hands just moved which means there is sign of life within her

She paced round as she constantly looks at the door….. hoping good something good

the door opened and the doctor walked out with a smile

” She’s awake right?” Helen asked as she looks at the doctor

” Partially……but her health condition is getting really better…….. finally she’s recovering” the doctor said and Helen hearts melted in relief

” Oh my that’s great news……can I see her?” Helen asked and the doctor nods as he left……. Helen walked in and met Morgan sleeping peacefully……the tube was gone but she still had an oxygen mask on

She sat besides her as she watched her bestfriend……her skin is a little bit better and she’s looking more healthier than before……. she’s really recoving

She strokes her hair but made sure she didn’t temper with the oxygen or else something terrible would happen

” You really have to get well soon my love……. your children needs to know the truth……… Jessica needs an explanation from you……….I won’t be able to do it on my own….I need you” Helen said as she closed her eyes and said a short prayer

Her phone started ringing and she hurriedly left…….not wanting to cause any noise in other not to disturb Morgan……she walked out and shut the door

A shadow appeared as the door creeked open as a tall figure walked in and shut the door from the inside

Walking manically as he stopped right in front of Morgan and watched as the oxygen was her only source of survival

A creppy smile formed on his face has his hands caress her face which made her glitch a little

” You are still alive?…….. after everything you did to me….you are still breathing?” He said heartlessly as his eyes roamed over her

Helen was walking towards Morgan’s ward but someone called her attention……..a young female who seems to be in discomfort and Helen immediately rushed to help her

Morgan hands glitch for the second time as the figure continues to caress her face

” Eighteen years……….you rubbed me and ran away with my child……but I’m back to get my daughter and I won’t let you stand in my way……..it will be a nice view from heaven as you watch me wreck everything you’ve ever worked for with my hard-earned money” he said as he pulled the oxygen mask off and took off her drip

Morgan eyes popped opened and she caught a glimpse of the face she had been terrified off but just like lightening…..her eyes closed and she started jerking….the glass thing that controlled how her heart beats regulated started going bizzer….. showing different sequence as blood goshed out of Morgan’s mouth uncontrollably…….she isn’t allowed to breath in fresh air yet

The figure left as he shut the door…… walking away like he never came as Morgan continues to cough and life was slipping out of her fast

” I’m fine now” the lady said as she excused herself and Helen walked to Morgan’s ward but the door wouldn’t open….. from the other side she could hear sounds and it seems like Morgan is in trouble

Calling on the nurses as they managed to open the door with a spare key and what Helen saw next broke her

Morgan was already numbed as blood was dripping from her mouth and her eyes were wide open

Rushing over to her as she got hold of Morgan and noticed her mask was gone…… someone was in here

She started shaking Morgan

” Wake up!!!!!!!!” She yells as she placed her ears on Morgan’s chest but she couldn’t feel anything….. Morgan’s hand were limped and her body had stiffened

” Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!” Helen loud cry shook the hospital as she falls on Morgan’s dead body
