“Luke doesn’t know about this, so proceed with the abortion process” Cecelia commanded the doctor, without blinking an eye.
The doctor wears a disappointing look on her face as she stares at Cecelia who has no remorse on what she is about to do.
“What are you waiting for? Let’s proceed with the abortion” Cecelia huffed.
“I’m sorry Cecelia, but this time around, I won’t take part in your sinful act”
“Meaning?”
“I won’t endorse myself in getting rid of an innocent soul again!” The doctor snapped.
“You’re not the one carrying the baby, or the one who will endure the pain, so I don’t see how aborting this baby will affect you”
“Are you even human? That baby in your womb is you and Luke’s child!”
“I know, but I can’t have the baby! At least not now!” Cecelia fired. She knew the baby was Luke’s child.
She always endeavors to use protection anytime she sexes with Lewis for money.
In Luke’s case, it was different, cuz he won’t ever agree to use protection on the woman he married, and if she tries persuading him, she’d give him a thousand reasons why.
“I’m hellbent about my decision, I won’t proceed with the abortion, Cecelia! Just have the baby and live like a married woman, rather than trying to compete with Tamara!”
“If I needed advice, I’d go straight to a counselor and not a doctor. So help me get rid of this baby, when the right time comes, I’d give Luke lots of kids, but this isn’t the right time”
“I won’t do it!” The doctor bellowed.
“So you won’t do it?” Cecelia nodded her head and stood up.
“In case you have forgotten, you’re not the only doctor in Las Vegas”
“What you’re doing is wrong, Cecelia! You’re taking advantage of Luke’s love”
“I’m not taking advantage of him. I love Luke”
“Love? If you love him, you won’t be depriving him the chance to be a father!”
“You can say whatever you want, but I know I love my husband! I’m also doing him a favor, at least he won’t have another mouth to feed. Have a bad day!” Cecelia hissed and left.
Just like she wanted, another doctor proceeded with aborting her fourth baby.

Kristin rushed to open the door before Richard could do so himself.
“Good evening Mr. Grouchy” She grins.
“Why are you so happy?” He asked.
“Do I have any reason to be happy?” She asked with a smile, but she stopped smiling when Richard gave her a cold expression.
“I forgot there’s someone who takes frowning all the time as his hobby” Kristin muttered to herself, making sure Richard didn’t hear when she spoke.
“Is it boring staying here alone?” Richard asked.
“Yes it is. If I was still in Glenwood, I would have been in the farmyard, inhaling the fresh dust of the soil” She grins.
“You enjoy working in the farmyard?” Richard said, staring at her.
“Of course I do! I’m a farmer’s daughter, if I don’t like working on the farmland, then no one will. It’s one of the common occupation you can find in Glenwood.
It’s so fun watching the farm products grow and harvested into money” Kristin chortled, making Richard seem interested in her life in Glenwood.
“What’s life in Glenwood like?”
“Whoa! This will be the first time you’d be asking me about my life? Are you finally interested in knowing about me?” She teased.
“Forget I asked” He tried walking away, but Kristin held him, preventing him from leaving.
“Sometimes, you should take a joke, Mr. Grouchy”
“It’s seems like you’re a talkative”
“I won’t deny that, you don’t always like talking to me, and that’s why I chose to mind my business, but now that you finally asked a question about me, I’m happy about it” Kristin guffaws.
