“You’re more than a Witch, aren’t you young lady?” Selena chuckled after a while of silence that had befallen them when she asked the medium her last question. “I’m not surprised.” She added.
“She is whoever it is you say she is. She can be anything.” Samira answered for Teagan.
Selena stared at both of them and began clapping her hands and stood up from her seat.
“This day finally came,” she said, pursing her lips upwards.
“What day?” Osiris demanded staring at his wife with raised brows.
“The day of truth.” Selena answered nonchalantly. “It’s nothing to hide any more my dear.” she added. “They said they saw it.” She reminded him as Osiris’ eyes gave her sign to shut up.
“Selena, we were supposed to deny it.” Osiris gritted out, though not in anger.
“Didn’t you hear what they both said? They saw what we did to their mother so it’s no use denying that besides I don’t have enough energy to argue with them,” she told him and shrugged.
“So what they are both saying, especially what this Vampire here said, are all true?” Leander asked. How could his mother and father be so cruel?
“Yes, my son I won’t deny it, the question is,” Selena said, staring at each of everyone in the room except Adelena. “What can any one of you do?”
“Selena shut that hole you call your mouth up. What’s wrong with you? I’m trying not to let the matter get out of hand but you on the other hand want to escalate it.” Adelena said and faced Vlad.
“Come on my son, let’s go back home and I swear I will explain everything to you right from the beginning.” She added and wanted to move closer to Vlad but the cold look he sent her way stopped her.
“Don’t call me your son, I am not your son.” Vlad warned.
“I know I messed up pretty bad Vlad, I am going to find a way to make it up to you once we leave here, I promise.” Adelena promised him. She cannot lose him and the money that comes with his name. Never!
“Can’t you see the handwriting on the wall Adelena,” Vlad said, closing the gap between him and the female vampire. “You are not leaving here because you will be dead and your dead body will be the only thing that will follow me out of here.” he added to the hearings of others.
Teagan whistled and stood up also. “So how do you want it to be then Selena? Are you going to do it the easy way or the hard way?” she asked.
“Neither, it’s so sad that you think what you are doing is the right thing, that you can defeat me, no, you cannot.”
“I am not here to fight you Selena. I am here just to pave the way for the truth and the one that would fight you will be him.” she pointed towards Zinedine.
“You got that right, Samira, friend.” Zinedine agreed.
“So you see Selena, you’ve got no protection, if I were you I’d summon your witch right now to help you.” Teagan told her.
Selena laughed once more and shook her head as if she was pitying them. “Did I stutter when I said I do my own shit myself Teagan? Anyways, I know this day would come by but not this soon so I have always anticipated this fight.”
“What fight Selena?” Osiris demanded. “Whatever it is you are planning I hope you involve me in it. You won’t want me to bear all their punishment, right sweetheart?”
