A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL : CHAPTER 211 – 220
They moved to me, their hands reaching out, but I steeled myself, clutching the knife hidden in my pocket. I wouldn’t let them take me without a fight. “Get away from me!” I shouted, pulling back as forcefully as I could.
“Hold her!” one of them barked, and suddenly, they were upon me, grabbing my arms and pinning me against the wall. I struggled against their grip, my heart racing as I fought to break free.
But just as I was about to lose hope, I felt the knife’s cold metal press against my palm. I had to be smart about this. I had to bide my time and wait for the right moment.
“Stop fighting, you wildcat,” one of the men growled, tightening his grip. “You’ll only make this harder on yourself.”
The grip of the men tightened around my arms, and I felt my heart racing in my chest. Desperation clawed at me, but just as I prepared to fight back, the door swung open again.
Two girls stepped into the room, their expressions a mix of sympathy and determination.
They looked to be around my age, their eyes reflecting a shared understanding of our grim circumstances.
“Let her go!” one of them demanded, her voice firm as she approached the men. The second girl, slightly taller with dark hair cascading down her shoulders, moved to my side, her gaze filled with concern.
“Please, we can help her,” she urged, glancing at the men with defiance. “You don’t need to treat her like this.”
The men hesitated, exchanging uncertain glances. “She’s not your concern,” one of them growled, but his tone was less authoritative now, as if he was beginning to reconsider their approach.
“Actually, she is,” the first girl shot back, stepping closer to me. “We can help her get ready for the boss. Let us do our job.”
After a tense moment, the men released their grip on me, and I stumbled slightly, the adrenaline still coursing through my veins.
“Fine,” one of the men grumbled. “But if she’s not ready when the boss arrives, it’s on you.”
The girls exchanged relieved glances as the men stepped back, allowing them to take control of the situation. “Come on” the second girl urged gently, guiding me to the small bathroom area in the corner of the room. “We need to get you cleaned up.”
I was taken aback by their sudden kindness, my heart racing with confusion. “you work for men like him?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper as I followed them. “kidnapping other women?”
The first girl, who had fiery brown hair, turned to me with a small smile. “is best if you keep quiet and let us do our job.”
As they began to prepare the bath, I noticed the small knife still tucked in my pocket, they will probably take it out if they notice
The two girls filled a basin with water, their movements efficient and purposeful. The steam rose into the air, enveloping us in warmth. “You need to wash off the fear,” the second girl said softly. “It’ll help you think clearly.”
“Thank you,” I replied, my voice trembling. “i Should try to be like you guys, kneeling for bastards”
“Shh,” the first girl interrupted gently. “you know nothing about us.”
They helped me undress, their touches surprisingly gentle. As I stepped into the warm water, I look at the girls, why do I have a feeling that they are planning something?
Could it be to kill me?
In order to have their lovely boss to themselves?
“Just relax,” the dark-haired girl said, splashing some water over my shoulders. “We’ll get you ready. You’ll be beautiful for the boss.”
I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of resentment at the thought of being paraded before him, but I buried it deep down.
