A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL : CHAPTER 211 – 220
She pulled back slightly, just enough to look up at me. Her eyes were red-rimmed and glistening, reflecting the moonlight in a way that made her look ethereal, almost otherworldly. “Lucifer,” she said, her voice trembling. “I was so scared. They were chasing me… I thought I wouldn’t make it.”
I brushed a lock of hair away from her face, my fingers lingering against her skin. “But you did. You fought, and you made it to me.”
I could feel the weight of her fears, the burdens she carried, and it made my heart ache for her. How could anyone be so cruel to someone so pure?
“i….I….I killed someone ” she said, her brow furrowing in confusion. “i didn’t hesitate to stab him”
I chuckled softly, the sound reverberating in the stillness of the night. “they is nothing wrong with that, it’s self defense.” My words hung in the air
Selene leaned into me again, burying her face against my shoulder.
I could feel the warmth of her breath against my skin, the softness of her body pressed against mine, and it was all-consuming.
In this moment, nothing else mattered. The chaos of the night faded, leaving only the two of us, intertwined in a sanctuary of our own making.
I took a moment to breathe her in, the familiar scent of her hair mingling with the earthy aroma of the forest. “You’re safe now,” I assured her, my voice steady. “As long as I’m here, you’re safe.”
She lifted her head, her eyes searching mine again, vulnerability etched on her features. “I don’t want to be weak,” she confessed, her voice wavering. “I want to be strong enough to fight back.”
I let out a soft sigh, the weight of her words settling in my chest. “You are strong, Selene.
Stronger than you realize.” I took her hands in mine, feeling the warmth of her skin against my own. “But strength might kill you. You know what I mean”she remain quiet, her gaze on the floor.
” A three headed dog spoke to me ” Selene look at me ” it called me his queen” I frown at that news, that’s the worse news one can get
If demons are bowing to her, it only means she is getting her demonic aura and power will definitely follow suite… Could it be because of the child?
” Lucifer ” her voice brought me out of thought, I quickly hold her hands
” We have to kill it”
She shoot me a confused look. ” The dog?”
” No” I shake my head ” that child in your womb” I watch her step back, placing her hands on stomach.
