“And that’s the end of the story,” i said, my voice soft and soothing as i tucked a loose strand of hair behind Heaven’s ear. “And they lived happily ever after”
Heaven’s eyes sparkled with wonder as she nestled closer to me. “that’s a really nice story mum, but I do feel bad for her friend…. Liam did not deserve to die”
I smiled, my heart swelling with pride. “Exactly, sweetheart. Zack had no right to kill Lilly friends” I really feel good about changing out names, she probably will start seeing her father as a wicked man
” Don’t you think Zach changed ” Lucifer mumble ” he became more lovely right?”
Heaven’s expression turned thoughtful. “am glad he changed, he became a good man”
I chuckled softly, my eyes glinting with affection. “Yes he did.”kissing her forehead I mumble ” go upstairs, it’s time for bed”
” Good night mum” she stood and then kiss her father who has been staring ” good night dad”
Lucifer kiss her forehead ” good night my angel ”

As Heaven scampered back into the house, her laughter ringing like music in the air, I turned my attention to Selene. The moon cast a warm glow around her, highlighting the gentle curves of her smile and the sparkle in her eyes.
“Now that we have a moment to ourselves,” I said, leaning closer, a teasing grin playing on my lips, “what shall we do with this precious time?”
Selene raised an eyebrow, a playful smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. “I can think of a few things, but I doubt you’ll behave yourself.”
I chuckled, leaning back slightly, feigning innocence. “Me? Misbehave? Unthinkable! I’m merely to stare at you and offer you sweet words I learnt recently”
“Oh really?” she replied, crossing her arms with a playful glint in her eyes. “And what sweet nothings do you have for me, oh charming one?”
“Let me see,” I began, tapping my chin thoughtfully. “How about this: if beauty were a crime, you’d be serving a life sentence.”
Selene burst into laughter, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “That’s quite the line! I should probably turn you in, then.”
“Please don’t!” I said, feigning desperation. “I can’t bear the thought of life without your dazzling presence. Who else would keep me in check?”
She shook her head, laughter still dancing in her voice. “You certainly have a way with words, Lucifer. But I’m not sure how much ‘checking’ I need to do with you.”
I leaned closer, lowering my voice to a conspiratorial whisper. “Well, I could always use a muse, and you, my dear, are the most enchanting one I’ve ever encountered.
Your laughter is like music, and your smile—well, it could light up the darkest corners of Hell.”
Selene rolled her eyes playfully, a smile still gracing her lips. “You’re incorrigible, you know that?”
“Only for you,” I replied, my tone softening. “You are my light, Selene. Every moment spent with you is like a page from a fairytale—a beautiful, whimsical adventure.”
She blushed slightly, the warmth creeping up her cheeks. “You always know how to make me feel special, don’t you?”
“Only because you are special,” I said, my voice sincere. “You’re the heart of our family, the reason I fight to be better every day. I adore you, truly.”
Selene’s laughter faded into a tender smile, her eyes reflecting the love we shared. “You have a way with words, my love. I’m lucky to have you.”
“Lucky?” I quipped, leaning back slightly with a mock look of disbelief. “I’m the lucky one here. You, my dear, are a treasure beyond measure.”
As the stars twinkled above us, I leaned in closer, my heart full. “Selene, thank you for being my partner, my muse, my everything. I’m endlessly grateful for you.”
She leaned in, pressing her forehead against mine. “And thank you for being you, Lucifer. You’ve shown me the beauty of love and the joy of life.”
” You Selene, will always be my favorite”
In that moment, surrounded by the love of my family and the beauty of the night, I knew that I will never be alone again.
And as I held Selene close, I felt a deep sense of contentment. This was our happily ever after, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
