“Who sent you all to be at my beck and call? Hope it’s not who I’m thinking. I’m I that special to him?!”. Mulan gasped dramatically as she placed her hands on her chest while the men exchanged glances.

“We’ve always been with you, right from the Alpha kingdom”. Another said and the others gave him a side eye, though their faces were covered, their eyes were still visible and Mulan blinked puzzly.

“The Crown Prince had you all watching my every move right from the start? Oh, my gosh! Here I was thinking he was pampering me. My delusional mind!

Get lost all of you! Ugly spies! And don’t call me your majesty again! You just made me more delusional thinking you’ve all accepted me as his Queen!”. Mulan scoffed angrily as she walked back to sit on the rock.

And the youngest amongst the assassin approached her.

“Do you want a back massage to ease your stress?”. He asked and the others pulled him back.

“You want to touch the His Majesty’s woman. Do you want to die?!”. The others hissed and Mulan smiled hearing that, as she turned to them, but they looked away from her instantly.

“Avoiding eye contact?”. Mulan scoffed.

But the men soon paused and bowed when they saw Sky approaching them, with seven other men behind him and Sky seeing them with Mulan frowned.

“What are you guys doing in the open with her? His Majesty is very mad right now, do you want him to kill us all? What if someone from the village sees you all!”. Sky snapped at the assassin and instantly bowed before running back into the nearest bush, to continue their duties.

And Sky gave Mulan one last glance before walking away with the seven men.

“Boss Sky please we’ll tell you everything. We can’t bare to be taken to his majesty”. One of the men with Sky muttered.

“His majesty has never requested to see any soldier, and when he does it means doom. Please, we’ll what really happened, we can’t get killed now. It was not our fault!”. Another pleaded as he followed Sky.

“Shut up and keep walking”. Sky sneered as he kept on walking, he turned to Mulan, giving her an unusual look before leaving and Mulan who heard their whispers stared after them.

“Did something serious happen? And why did it look like Sky wanted me to follow him?”. Mulan mumbled as she almost went back to throwing her stones, but then she got up and went back to the house.

The Crown Prince sat on the armless wooden chair, an hand on his knee as he leaned closer to the shivering men kneeling in front of him who bowed their heads trying to avoid his gaze, his deep blue eyes glaring deep into their souls, with his expression showing nothing but anger.

As his second hand played effortlessly with his long sharp sword.

The men’s faces weren’t covered like other assassins, since Sky took off their masks off.

Sky stood behind them, his gaze diverting to the door every seconds.

“Start talking”. The Crown Prince ordered and instantly the men exchanged glances not knowing who should go first and the Crown Prince sighed sitting up right.

“The night the Emperor died. I told Sky over here, I wanted Concubine Yan dead that same night. Because, she made people believe I killed him with her stupid patrol with the other women of the harem.

But that wasn’t my main reason for wanting her dead, I’ve always known she was a snake. Though I never expected she being in cohorts with vampires.
