And the Emperor stood up glaring at the physician who was weeping silently, as he tried not to move so as not to get slain by Sky’s sword.
Mira stood watching from outside in tears as she watched Mulan keep whispeering unheard words to herself.
“You dare call my mate Mad? In other words you can’t treat her? You have no right to live then”. The Emperor muttered darkly and Sky raised up his sword sliting the neck of the physician.
“I can treat her!!! I can make the Empress return to her normal state of mind!! It’s just…
The physician said glancing helplesly at the Emperor who frowned at him.
“You’ll be paid ten times your usual amount”. The Emperor muttered and the physician instantly shook his head.
“Th-thank you for the pay your majesty. But I meant her recovery is going to take time and she might go through alot of pains during the process—
The physician wasn’t done speaking when Sky’s sword returned back to his neck and his eyes widened.
“It’s not an intentional pain to her your majesty! That’s the only method I know for her to have a quick recovery!!”. The physician shouted frightfully.
“And what method are we talking about here?”. The Emperor questioned and the physician gulped down nothing.
“Sh–she will have to spend two hours everyday standing on hot coals—
“Kill him”. The Emperor cut him as he turned back to Mulan, while Sky wasted no time in cutting off the head of the physician and it dropped to the floor.
Immediately two of Sky’s soldiers ran in and cleared the place.
Then Sky turned to the Emperor who stood staring at Mulan with hurt livid in his eyes.
“It’s good you ordered for his death your majesty. If he leaves this palace without being of help he’ll snitch and make the whole realm call the Empress mad also. Plus, standing on coal is usually for thirty minutes and it’s done mainly on people suspected to be possessed.
He insulted the Empress indirectly for suggesting that and even stating she was to stand on it for two hours?! He’s just trying to say she’s not only mad but extremely possessed. I’ll gladly kill him again, if I see his ghost”. Sky spat lowly as he balled his fist.
And the Emperor turned to him.
“Send men out to bring me the best of the best physician in this realm. It should be discreet I don’t want rumors going about to tarnish her image”. The Emperor said to Sky.
“Okay your majesty!”. Sky bowed before rushing out and Mira who had stood at the door crying instantly followed him.
“My baby. My little baby”. The Emperor could hear Mulan’s tiny cries from behind.
As she curled herself up on the bed, while tracing the pattern on the bed spread with her flawless fingers.
He blinked profusely not bringing himself to stare at her before walking out of the door and locking it with a key before leaving with his guards behind him.
