Mira was busy arranging the bed she slept on, while Mulan sat with the night lantern near the window, going through every book she collected from the bookstore.
She read with so much seriousness till Mira sat right next to her.
“Did you find anything?”. Mira asked and Mulan turned to her only shaking her head negatively.
“He lived the normal life as a First Prince turned Crown Prince. He was respected and treated well also—
Mira scoffed halfway and Mulan gave her a puzzled look.
“If I was the Emperor who maltreats my brother’s son, do you think I’ll let word of my maltreatment get out?! Of course I’ll publish books suitable for my image! You see why I told you this wouldn’t work”. Mira said and Mulan sighed.
“I also noticed that. What am I going to do then?!”. Mulan sighed deeply as she laid on her back and Mira began massaging her legs and arms.
“Just go to bed. He doesn’t even care about you, so why bother to solve a puzzle that has nothing to do with you”. Mira said and Mulan scoffed getting up.
“I just need a mate or I will die. But even if he was maltreated by the Emperor, it says in most of the books here that his mother’s people took him away for many years.
Does it means they also never had good intentions for him?”. Mulan mumbled as she went back to reading and Mira shook her head at her.
“Well it’s the palace, Everyone for themselves. The more reason why you should avoid the Crown Prince! How will an Omega like you survive in a palace filled with Alphas, even the servants over there can stomp over you and nobody would care.
Are you forgetting even the Crown Prince himself doesn’t value you?”. Mira said but no reply came from Mulan as she continued reading and Mira sighed getting up.
“Let’s go for a little walk then. Maybe we might find a bookstore with better books on the street”. Mira said and Mulan instantly faced her with a smile.
“Let’s go then!”. Mulan said with a smile as she got to get prepared.

Mira and Mulan kept walking down the street their inn was.
While Mulan’s whole focus were on book she was reading while she walked, Mira focused more on sight seeing not till she noticed people were staring at Mulan as they walked.
“What kind of hair color is that?”
“If it were to be gold, It means power, but white? Hmm she’s a beauty but very weak”
“Some people needs to keep their sons from girl’s like this, these type of girls finds it hard to reproduce”.
“I think she’s an Omega, we’ve been seeing an influx of them ever since the contest was announced”
“Those weak wolves overestimate themselves a lot. They think they can win?”.
Many gossiped rudely and Mira instantly removed the shawl on her and placed it on Mulan’s hair, but Mulan who was so focused in reading didn’t notice anything till she bumped into someone and the post from that person threw her back, ten feet’s away with her book falling to the ground, and so did she.
“Your highness!”. Mira shouted as she ran to help Mulan up, but Mulan only stared at the sophisticated female she bumped into.
The girl looked completely beautiful, but what was more captivating was the commanding aura emanating from her.
She wasn’t dressed too grand, in fact she was dressed almost the same as an assassin,but her black robe, was mixed with beautiful gold linen and her hair was packed in a braided ponytail.
She was holding a sword in her hand also.
“My bad. You weren’t supposed to fly that far. Are you an omega?”. The girl asked with a calm smile as she moved closer to Mulan but Mira instantly came in front.
