NEXT MORNING
The whole city was filled and bubbly with different young couples who meet the age range for the contest as they all made their way to the palace.
The Crown Prince dressed like a warrior in all black with a black mask on his face and his favorite sword in hand.
Even with his face covered many girls who passed would stop stealing multiple glances and drooling over him, as his wide and tall physique Screamed luxury and mad controlling aura.
His long silky black hair was packed in a ponytail, as he stood outside Mulan’s inn waiting in anger with his arms crossed.
Sky kept anxiously looking at the entrance hoping Mulan would walk out of it instantly because he was scared all the Crown Prince’s anger would be diverted to him if she didn’t show up on time.
Soon Mulan came running out of the Inn dressed extravagantly like she was going to a party with heavy makeup and jewelry all over, and Mira also did the same which made Sky’s eyes widened when he first saw them approaching him and the Crown Prince.
Sky instantly ran to block the entrance before the Crown Prince would turn and see the chaos.
“Did you get the wrong info? It’s not a party we’re going to, look out at the other girls attending the contest, they’re all dressed like soldiers!”. Sky said with widened eyes to Mulan who rolled eyes as she pushed him out of the way.
“Your master told me to just accompany him! Not fight alongside him! I’ll do whatever I like, because my only mission is to impress him!”. Mulan said as she tiptoed to where the Crown Prince stood and Sky held his chest out of fright.
“Go my lady! I got you!”. Mira hyped in a whisper as she raised up the long gown she was putting on to follow Mulan but Sky pulled her back glaring meanly at her.
“What kind of servant are you? Isn’t it your responsibility to put your lady in check? Why are you dressed like a clown like her also? Is there really nothing in your small head?”. Sky hissed harshly at Mira whose eyes widened.
“How dare you say that to me?!”. Mira snapped hushly and Sky in anger pointed at her.
“You go in and change. The Crown Prince will kill us all if he sees your mistress dressing but seeing you only means our dead body will be left for the Rogues to feed on because you’re so ugly right now!”.
Sky snapped pushing Mira back in but she held his hand and instantly ran to stand behind Mulan, and Sky’s eyes widened as he watched them try to surprise the Crown Prince from behind.
“Is the makeup on you that heavy? How come I can smell your face paint from here?”. The Crown Prince muttered with a deep frown and both Mulan and Mira’s eyes widened, as they stopped on their track.
Then The Crown Prince turned to glance at them and instantly his two fists balled and his gaze turned to fiery red, and Mulan began shaking fearfully while Mira instantly came back to change.
“Coward”. Sky spat as he watched Mira disappear back into the inn.
“Mira and I, just wanted to make your day colorful by dressing colourfully”. Mulan muttered turning to face Mira, but her eyes widened the moment she saw Mira coming out of the inn completely dressed like a guard, and then she stood beside Sky while trying to avoid Mulan’s gaze.
‘Traitor!’. Mulan spat in her head, before facing the angry Crown Prince.
“Either way! It’s my choice! And I’m not changing! I’m a princess so I must dress like one—
“Two minutes”. The Crown Prince’s voice came and Mulan instantly bowed.
“Yes your majesty!”. She said before running back into the inn.
Minutes later Mulan came back out, in the same black color and warrior dress code like the Others and then they all began their journey.
With Mulan walking quietly beside the Crown Prince, then she nudged his elbow to talk to him.
“Avoid contact with me, unless you want to die before your deadline”. He muttered stoically and Mulan could feel the thrills already.
“I just wanted to ask you something important, it’s very important!”. Mulan said seriously and the Crown Prince stopped on his track to face her and Mulan smiled.
“Did your heart beat more than once when you saw how beautiful I looked earlier?”. Mulan asked blushing slightly as she brushed a strand of her hair behind her ears and instantly the Crown Prince in anger unsheathed his sword and placed it on her neck, which made her scream in fright.
“You–you agreed to let me woo you!! I’m just trying to see if my first plan worked?!”. Mulan asked frightfully and the Crown Prince glared at her for a few minutes before returning his sword back and turning to Sky who looked completely flustered with Mira.
“Till everything’s complete I need you close. Make her maid your partner so you will be able to enter the palace with us”. The Crown Prince said before walking away and Mulan instantly ran after him.
