While everyone still looked so shocked, the Crown Prince and Mulan quickly withdrew their hands from the leaf and the cloud went back to normal making everyone murmur more as they stared at they and Kaidos and Ming.
“Gold and Red?!
“Okay we know the meaning of both colors now but the leaf was supposed to change to blue and nothing else!
“Are they disqualified?!”
“So these two are literally the strongest couple in the whole competition?!
The Crowd questioned loudly in different voicesvoices.
The announcer ran to where the officials sat to discuss what the final result should be since he was also confused.
‘What’s Moon driving at? Didn’t she dissolve our match already?’. The Crown Prince thought then he instantly glanced at Mulan the moment he felt her tapping his shoulder.
“Immortality and Eternity? That means I won’t die right?”. Mulan asked but no response came from the Crown Prince.
“You don’t look surprised. Did you already know and didn’t bother to tell me?”. Mira sneered at Sky who acted like he didn’t hear her and Mira scoffed as she ran to stand in front of him just to gain his attention and it worked.
“You think I was happy also? And how old are you that you couldn’t recognize your mate at first glance? Are you that stupid?! Or do Omegas tend to sense their mates later than other wolves?”. Sky asked hotly and Mira opened her mouth to speak but no words came from it and she closed her mouth back, before crossing her arms and looking away.
“I’m eighteen—
“So? Isn’t that adulthood already? Does that actually permit you to be stupid?”. Sky asked and Mira frowned at him.
“Then why didn’t you tell me!—
“Why would I tell a shallow thinker like you that I’m your mate. I’m also not happy with this bond so there’s no way I would have told you—
“Oh really?! Then let’s dissolve the bond!!”. Mira shouted harshly and Sky frowned at her.
Finally the announcer came on stage holding a paper at hand while everyone anxiously awaited what he had to say, but he opened his mouth to say nothing.
Then Kaidos gave Ming a side-eye and instantly she unsheathed her sword, running to place it on the announcer’s neck and everyone gasped at the audience while the Rogues amongst them where ready to bring out their swords also if the Emperor were to escalate the matter.
And the Emperor’s generals who seated at the same category with the Emperor glanced at him but he shook head at them.
“We can’t risk fighting here. It’ll ruin the little harmony we are all observing. Right now, they’re just impatient to know the result”. The Emperor said and the When Mother glanced at him.
“But the rewards obviously won’t be in their favor. I mean the red leaf means danger for all so why keep them?”. The Queen Mother questioned and the Emperor gave her a side eye.
“You don’t know how the Rogue’s act right? Unless they loose a physical fight they would think any other way of them getting disqualified was a mere trick set by us to disqualify them on time”. The Emperor said and Queen Mother rolled eyes.
“Like that Isn’t what we want in the first place”. The Queen Mother muttered.
“You passed. You and your mate both passed so please spare my life!”. The announcer pleaded who but a mere official pleaded and Ming glanced at Kaidos who let out a smirk before permitting her to leave him and she did and walked back to him, while The Crown Prince’s gaze shifted to him, and Kaidos glanced back at him, glaring madly.
“What’s that Idiot with the mask looking at?”. Kaidos asked staring at Ocean who smirked at him, and then Ocean’s gaze moved to Sky who nodded the moment he met Ocean’s gaze.
“With over 50 real contestants and their mates passing the mate bond test, the real competition officially begins!!”. The announcer shouted loudly and cheers filled the air.
Till the huge door at the side opened revealing Caspian and Kathara walking into the arena side by side, as they wore the same warrior fit, with serious dark looks on their faces and the Queen Mother smirked watching them while the Emperor rolled eyes as he glanced at the second Prince and his mate who stood in line.
As Caspian walked, the sand beneath his feet gave way for him before our powerful his steps were, he didn’t put too much energy in walking, but the sharp steps he took while going to stand in line, were enough to cause a sand tornado.
As his gaze were only on one person, OCEAN.
Even with the mask he could still recognize the treacherous figure who gave him more reason to practice hard till he was a supreme Wolf, not because Mulan was standing next to him but mostly because his history with Ocean was enough to make him remember every single detail about him.
The figure who even though he was Wolfless always had a way to humiliate and make a mockery of him.
