The So-Called ex-Crown Prince that even though they were both age-mates, because of Caspian’s mother relationship with the Rogue’s he was forced to be the third Prince instead of sharing the first Prince title with Ocean, or even if the palace were to be biased, Caspian was supposed to be the second Prince.
But Ocean had refuted using his late mother’s believe of not forgiving criminals like Caspian’s mother as a prove to all, and even the palace had to adhere to Icean’s claims because it was the late Empress he used to prove his point and no one else’s.
“Who’s that?
“I think it’s the third Prince”
“The one who doesn’t have a father?”
“One Prince left and the other arrives. This palace has a history of raising bad egg Princes.
Caspian walked straight to where Mulan stood and then he flashed her a smile as he stood beside her, while Kathara waved at Mulan before standing beside Caspian, and Mulan’s eyes widened in puzzlement.
‘They’re here too? We have no hope of winning then’. Mulan thought.
“Sorry I arrived late. Work held me up”. Caspian said loudly to the whole crowd as he glanced at Ocean who didn’t spare him a glance and then he tapped Mulan’s shoulder almost making her fall because of the pressure but she held her balance and he grinned.
“Could you switch sides with me? It’s been long I talked to someone”. Caspian asked Mulan who turned to see the Crown Prince’s reaction, but seeing how he acted like he saw nothing, Mulan moved to stand beside Kathara, while Caspian took her spot beside Ocean.
“I received your message”. Caspian muttered to Ocean as they both faced the announcer.
“What message?”. Ocean asked and Caspian scoffed.
“Let’s both act dumb then, but I hope what I saw was the only one, If you ordered for more then it means you’re opting for war”. Caspian sneered.
“Peace isn’t an option”. Ocean muttered darkly before glancing at Mulan who was busy talking with Kathara.
“She’s pretty right? I want her”. Caspian said and the Ocean said nothing as he kept staring at Mulan who finally turned to him and he instantly used his eyes to order her back, and Caspian scoffed while returning back to Kathara.
“Treat her well. She has what I cherish”. Caspian smiled and Mulan stood next to the Crown Prince, as she glanced at him, but instantly looked back at the podium.
“You make friends easily right?”. Ocean’s voice came and Mulan blinked turning to him.
“Huh? I’m not friends with that cocky thing, she doesn’t know how to speak nicely—
“She’s not your problem. The girl in front of you is your real competition”. The Crown Prince muttered and Mulan blinked puzzly only for her to see a girl holding hands with the Second Prince as she kept on kissing his cheeks.
“So that’s his short tempered mate he talked about”. Mulan mumbled, then she turned to Ocean.
“Is she stronger than the third Prince’s mate?”. She asked him and the Crown Prince turned to glance at the Second Prince’s mate.
“She’s been calculating for hours now. Her brain’s her strength, though as an Alpha she isn’t weak either, avoid her if you want to remain in the competition”. The Crown Prince warned and Mulan took her gaze back to the Second Prince’s mate, his mate was the only one wearing white warrior wear amongst the whole contestants who were all on black.
‘Is she that good. Even the Cold first Prince thinks so highly of her’. Mulan thought suddenly the girl turned to wink at the Crown Prince before returning back to the Second Prince and Mulan scoffed.
“How dare she. That player doesn’t even know her boundaries!”. Mulan spat lowly.
“Now first of all. We’ll be having a test of strength! To become the future Emperor and Empress of this great kingdom! Your strength must be of great height and invincible amongst your peers.
Ladies will fight ladies and Men fight men! But one cruel rule is that! Even if one partner wins, and the other looses their match then both couple are disqualified!
Because the imperial kingdom would never accept a strong Crown Prince and weak Crown Princess or vice versa the strength must be from both sides, so we know our kingdom is in capable hands”. The announcer said and everywhere became filled with mumurs.
“I’ll kill you before your curse does if you mistakenly get disqualified”. The Crown Prince threatened Mulan who gulped down nothing as she began hoping whoever her opponent was someone simple.
‘Please not the third and Second Prince’s mates’. Mulan prayed in her head till Mira waved at her.
“I’ll fail for you your highness!”. Mira said with a smile and Mulan smiled back, while Sky scoffed.
“Like you can beat her before”. Sky mumbled and Mira threw him a glare.
“Contestants are to fight in the circle line drawn at the middle of this field. Remember! You all will be given only five minutes to take out your opponent, failure to do will get both you and your opponent disqualified and same with your mates!
Also, stepping on the line or outside the line, means automatic disqualification for whoever is concerned and their mate! No killing during the fight but any other means while fighting is acceptable”. The announcer announced and Kaidos smirked at the mention of the last statement.
Same with the other contestants.
