“Now for our next competitors. Lady Kathara from the Imperial Cave Kingdom and Lin from the Dreamy Cave Kingdom. The announcers voice came and instantly the girls matched into the ring.
Mulan and Mira walked out of the arena but found no trace of the Crown Prince and soon they began looking around for him not till Princess Aria came in front of them smiling creepily at Mira.
“Your mistress is dead so you found someone more useless than her? Aren’t you supposed to be buried with your mistress! Why are you still alive?!!”. Princess Aria snapped loudly as she made to grab Mira’s hair but Mulan but Mulan grabbed hers instead and she yelled out in pain.
“You don’t like minding your business do you?! Why not let her be!”. Mulan shouted as she grabbed Aria’s hair and Mira also joined her, making Aria cry more out of hurt.
By this time the people outside already gathered around watching them.
“Are we still going to need her your majesty? We just saw now that she’s–she’s weak”. Sky asked as he and the Crown Prince stood watching Mulan and Mira’s fight from afar.
“I can be your new partner!”. A voice said beside the Crown Prince with her arm rested on his shoulder as she stared at him with a smile on her face, and Sky stepped back excusing them.
“I’m smart, tricky, powerful and pretty. Your current failure of a mate is nothing compared to me”. Calista muttered her smile fading into a serious look and the Crown Prince threw her hand off his shoulder, before turning to walk away, not till Calista scoffed loudly making him stop on his track.
“I had high expectations for whoever your mate would be. I practiced more and read more books, hoping the moon goddess mates me with the perfectionist Crown Prince whom I grew up with.
Not till I got mated to Lycan and I thought perhaps your mate was someone invincible, even with the thrashy cloud thing that happened in there I thought she was some goddess or something.
But look at the failure if a mate you have Ocean. She’s a low class wolf who takes pleasure in fighting in public! A huge disgrace to the elegance and capability you’ve always wanted in a woman!”. Calista said and the Crown Prince turned to her giving a raised eyebrow.
“Did I complain to you?”. He asked boldly and Calista frowned.
“You may have not. But I know you’re more disappointed in your mate than anyone else. And that you wish to dispose her, but if you’re still with her then it only means she has something you need!”. Calista said and the Crown Prince nodded.
“Now that you know. Why not take a chill pill and relax. You’re engaged now, leave this issues for the people concerned”. The Crown Prince spat with a glare before walking away and Sky followed him.
“Get the disappointment of a mate to see me”. The Crown Prince ordered as he walked away with his face growing more angrier.
“Yes your majesty!”. Sky bowed as he turned and walked back to where Mulan and Mira were still fighting.
Calista only stood watching the Crown Prince leave with balled fists.
“Let’s go rest it’s getting late. The men’s duel will be held tomorrow”. The Second Prince said as he approached Calista who turned to him with a frown.
“I still believe you planned with the moon goddess to make me your mate!”. Calista snapped eying the Second Prince before walking away and the second Prince sighed deeply before following her.
