“Before sending me off let’s dissolve our bond. I hate you so much, now that I wish we never met!!”. Mira shouted as Sky dragged her into the waiting Palenquin outside the Inn, guarded with ten guards.
“There’s not enough time for that”. Sky said as he gestured for her to go in but Mira only stood glaring at him and Sky frowned.
“You think staying here with your mistress is good for her?!”. He snapped and Mira’s eyes widened.
“You’ll be taken back to your hometown in the Omega Kingdom. Live there quietly if you love your life. And…there’s a medicine kit in the palenquin tend to the wound in your neck so it doesn’t swells”. Sky said before walking away.
“My lady is cursed. What if she dies serving that arrogant Prince! She’s supposed to be looking for her mate!!”. Mira shouted from within the palanquin and Sky stopped on his track sighing deeply.
“If she plays her cards well and focus on the one in front of her she might not have to look for any mate”. Sky said before fully walking away and Mira scoffed as the Palanquin carried her away.
“In the future, there’s no way I’ll take you back! Unless you beg me in front of the Emperor! And even the Moon goddess!!!”. Sky could hear Mira’s angry voice disappearing into the night and he only took in a deep breath before returning back to the inn.
Walking into the Inn, he met the Crown Prince downstairs sitting at the crowded restaurant where many ate and watched courtesans(S.x workers) perform their dances in front of the hungry men.
The Crown Prince sat at the extreme end with his mask on his face and his table empty as he watched the dance performance and Sky walked to him, keeping guard behind him.
“Sit”. The Crown Prince ordered his gaze not leaving the dancers and Sky sat, as he stared professionally at the Crown Prince not bothering to glance at the dancers.
“You made things easier for me earlier”. The Crown Prince muttered and Sky bowed.
“I made it easier for myself, Your Majesty–
“I know. You didn’t want me to kill your mate as planned so you just used showed up when not needed using her life to threaten her lady, so instead of killing her I would just order for she to be sent away”. The Crown Prince said and Sky instantly went on his knees as he bowed his head in apology.
“I’m sorry to have offended you with my actions your majesty!”. Sky said and the Crown Prince scoffed.
“Everyone has who they want to protect. You just need to find the right one to, and then confirm if they’re really worthy of your protection”. The Crown Prince uttered and Sky raised up his head a little glancing at the Prince in shock.
“Do–you have anyone you wish to protect your majesty?”. Sky asked thoughtlessly and instantly hated himself as the Crown Prince finally took his gaze from the performance to Sky, though his eyes were unreadable in his blank face.
“Is there anyone worth my protection?”. The Crown Prince asked in a little whisper and Sky almost let his intrusive thoughts answer for him, but he instantly switched it.
“No, your majesty!”. Sky said and the Crown Prince hailed a male waiter who walked to them.
“Give me your finest wine”. He ordered calmly and the waiter smiled before running off, while Sky blinked puzzly, till the Crown Prince pointed at one of the dancers and Sky glanced at her.
“She’s pretty, bring her here”. He muttered and Sky instantly bowed getting up to walk to the Dancer without thinking till he stopped on his track.
“Did he just say she’s pretty?”. Sky mumbled to himself and then he glanced at the Crown Prince who gave him a raised eyebrow and then he turned back to the particular dancer who smiled at him, before leaving the stage earlier than the other dancers and running into a inner room and Sky instantly chased after her.
“The prettier they look. The more dangerous they are”. The Crown Prince muttered as he began drinking from his wine.
