They thought since you two claimed not to be mate but siblings, that means you both have been carrying out abominations that made such a mutual bond between you both, a bond that was only supposed to be between mates”. Mira said and Mulan’s eyes instantly widened.

“Wait…what abomination–they think the Crown Prince and I are siblings who fell in love?!”. Mulan gasped in puzzlement and Mira instantly nodded.

“Yes and they were ready to chase you both out of the village together with Sky who lied that he was you both younger brother, but thanks to the Alpha Doctor who told them told them to calm and wait for your explanations.

Though the village head’s wife already thinks you two are married and not actually siblings so that’s why she’s been making me and Sky run errands for you both while you were unconscious”. Mira said and Mulan sighed deeply in relief but then her tension rose again.

“So that means the Crown Prince and I will have to act like married couples till we leave here? Is that even possible?! Do you think that the arrogant Prince will agree to it?!”. Mulan snapped and Mira scoffed.

“That’s his business! If he doesn’t cooperate we’ll tag him a woman beater, opt for a fake divorce and have the villagers throw both him and his pride out!!”. Mira snapped loudly as she forcefully ate the rice cakes with her and Mulan only sat as she looked completely puzzled.

Then Mira turned to her again.

“Lest I forget. Sky came up with a storyline as to why you three ended up in this village”. Mira said and Mulan suddenly smiled.

“You’ve been mentioning Sky since you started talking. Tell me, have you reconciled with my mentor”. Mulan teased with a wink as she nudged Mira’s elbows jokingly.

“Never!! Till he begs me in front of the Alpha Emperor and since the Alpha kingdom no longer has an Emperor but an Empress it seems his apology will never happen!”. Mira said and Mulan scoffed, before turning to the house.

“I don’t think the Crown Prince knows about the Queen Mother taking over the throne yet”. Mulan mumbled and Mira took her hands.

“Your highness focuses. By tonight you’ll be summoned to the Village head’s house together with the Crown Prince and the whole village will be present there, if you play your cards well and follow the story Sky planned, then we’ll be welcomed warmly amongst the villagers and they’ll even throw you both a welcome feast like they did for me when I first arrived here.

But if we don’t plan now all of us might get thrown out and we know we can’t risk that right now, not when the whole realm is scattered with continuous wars and the three kingdoms wouldn’t stop searching for the Crown Prince to kill him”. Mira said and Mulan nodded, finally being serious again, as Mira told her what to say if they get to the Village head’s house later in the evening.

Soon they saw Sky who was dressed casually like a villager and the Doctor walking into the house but they only glanced at them for a few seconds before continuing their business.

INSIDE THE HOUSE

Ocean sat on the bed with the Doctor’s side eyes as he checked his legs and sighed for the umpteenth time since he arrived.

Then finally he stopped walking to his medicine box and Sky followed him anxiously.

“Make sure he takes this every night before going to bed. Since it’s an internal issue this needs to be solved internally”. The Doctor said, handing a small green bottle to Sky who puzzly took the bottle.

“What’s really wrong with his majes—I mean my brother”. Sky said almost losing guard and the Doctor turned to him then the Crown Prince who stared impatiently at him.

“He was supposed to recover in at least a week. But now let’s hope his legs recover within three weeks and his powers can only be fully activated by then.

If he forces it again before three weeks then things will become worse and he might not only lose his ability to walk, but his powers that have been transferred to him, will also disappear into thin air, because it’s a high class power that hates weak owners”. The old Doctor said and the Crown Prince scoffed.

‘It hates weak owners. But it didn’t disappear when it was in that princess’s body. I dare you to disappear in mine’. Then the Crown Prince thought darkly within him and Sky only bowed at the Doctor.
