“Thank you sir. I’ll be sure to take good care of my brother”. Sky said with a bow and the Doctor only nodded as he pointed at a wooden Wheelchair he placed beside the Crown Prince’s bed.
“If you must walk about, use that to facilitate your movement. And also, have your wife prepare you a hot meal before attending tonight’s meeting. You’re already weak in the leg, but your other parts need to be strengthened to answer a lot of questions from everyone. My work here is done.”. The old Doctor said.
As he stroked his white beard with one hand and the other hand behind his back as he walked out, Sky followed him to shut the door, while the Crown Prince’s sharp gaze followed the doctor in puzzlement.
“Wife?”. The Crown Prince asked with a frown as his full gaze turned to Sky who walked to bow to him.
“It’s a long story, your majesty. Though the villagers aren’t sure yet, they want to believe you and the Omega princess are couples and if it’s not true they’ll think otherwise and things wouldn’t end well for us, your majesty”. Sky said and the Crown Prince only frowned more in puzzlement.
“Think otherwise?”. He questioned and Sky moved closer to him to tell him all that had happened within his one month of being unconscious.
“So you’re saying I have to accept that classless lady as a wife till I leave here”. The Crown asked after Sky told him everything and Sky nodded while the Crown Prince scoffed.
“Let’s leave here then. What’s the status of the three kingdoms?”. The Crown Prince asked as he got his wheelchair from beside the bed and dragged himself to sit on it, then he rolled the wheels towards Sky.
“The three kingdoms have been in constant wars for the Alpha throne ever since your disappearance. Though the Queen Mother as ascended the throne, it still didn’t stop the war but doubled—
“The Queen Mother became an Empress Dowager? Why didn’t I think of that, the Emperor died, Princes of the palace turned on themselves and within a month only one person benefited from the whole chaos”. The Crown Prince muttered in a deep angry voice and Sky only nodded.
“I don’t think she would sacrifice her only grandson for the throne though”. Sky said and the Crown Prince broke into a dark creepy laughter that only enhanced his unreal handsome looks, as he turned a sinister gaze at Sky with his light blue eyes and Sky instantly removed his gaze from the Crown Prince before it met him, as he bowed lower.
“I was a Wolf less Crown Prince, despised by everyone and the only thing I ever wanted was to find my wolf and ascend the Imperial throne and to do that I sacrificed my mate not once but almost twice.
The same mate that holds the key to ending my Wolf-lessness is whom I was ready to kill for the throne without second thoughts so what makes you think the son of a traitor will be more valuable?
Especially when the Queen Mother had planned all her 96 years to snatch the throne”. The Crown Prince muttered darkly and Sky only nodded in daze.
“The third Prince was just a pawn in her game”. Sky mumbled in awe.
“Continue your update”. The Crown Prince muttered and Sky nodded.
“Aside from the constant wars between the three kingdoms they come together most of the times to search and also kill you once they get the chance to–
“So I can’t leave this remote place till I’ve fully recovered enough to fight against my hunters?”. The Crown Prince asked and Sky nodded.
“And to stay here we need to make sure we’re in good terms with the villagers–
“And to be on good terms with them I need to prove to them that I’m legally married to the Omega Princess and not committing an abomination with someone you told them is my sister”. The Crown Prince said cutting Sky off and he nodded.
