Mr. Williams and his wife stare in pity at the innocent Ella who is eating at the dinner table, they can’t believe what she went through after his children explain what happened.

“How can people be mean to a little girl, she is too innocent”. Mrs.Williams said.

” Yes, she will be staying with you two from now on”. Jayden said.

“It’s okay, I have always wanted a girl child in this house, am pleased God bring her to me “. Mrs.williams said excitedly.

” She is pretty, it’s okay if she lives with us”. Mr.williams said.

“Sure, she will be comfortable here”. Ryan said.

They sighed tiredly staring at her as she was eating happily.

Days later Jayden and Maya were in their room, Jayden rested his head on her lap while maya caressed his hair.

” Have been so restless, that place keeps calling out to me, those people in there need help”. Jayden said.

“So, what are you going to do?”. She asked.

” I had men to look over the place, and they came back to tell me, those people lack, water, bad road and they don’t even have a hospital”. he said.

“That’s bad”. Maya said.

” I feel pity for them, they need help”.

“And you are the perfect person to help them, there is a reason why Ella came to the picture, if not for her nobody would have known there was a place like that”. She said.

” I know, I will do my possible best to help them”.

“You have my support”. They smile at each other.

THE WILLIAMS MANSION

Mrs. Williams and Ella were seated on the balcony having a daughter and mother conversation.

” Really? Your village is Kamianka “.

” Yes”

“Sorry dear, I know how you feel about your whole family being wiped out by a bandit”.

” Yeah, but I am happy now that I have a new family”. She smiles.”Can I call you grandma?”.

“Yes”. Mrs.williams said happily.

” And you can call me grandpa”. Mr. Williams interrupted from behind.

“Yeah! I have a grandma and a grandpa “. she said and hugged them tightly.

A week later, Jayden and Maya returned home after they went out for a morning walk at the park.

” I am so tired”. She said.

“You don’t have to, you need more exercise especially when the baby is almost near”. He said.

” I can’t wait for the day to see my tiny baby”.

“Me too”. They hug each other tight.” Let’s go in and freshen up”. He took her hand.

Immediately they entered the living room there was a blast of popper with gold confetti in the air, they were surprised to see everywhere decorated with balloons and everyone was presented in the living room.

“Surprise!!!”. They yell in excitement.

” Oh my gosh, what is going on?”. Maya asked confusedly.

“We made a surprise baby shower for you and it’s all Jayden idea”. Mrs.williams said.

” You didn’t tell me about it”. She said.

“I just wanted to surprise you that’s why I went out with you for a morning walk”. he said.

“It’s beautiful, I love it, thank you”. She said and they kissed.

” Congratulations aunt”.Ella said as she moved to her and presented a white paper for her.

“Aww! Thank you, you must be Ella?”. She asked.

” Yes, I made this myself,” she said smiling.

“Thank you, I love it”. They smile at each other.” Can I see what’s inside?”.

“Yes”.

” Okay”. She opened the paper and was amazed to see a portrait of her face on the paper.”Oh my gosh”.

“You drew this?” Jayden asked Everyone rushed to take a look.

“Yes, Grandma showed me her photo and I made a portrait of it”.

” Wow! This is beautiful”.Mia said.

“who taught you how to draw?”. Theo asked.

” No one, My mom told me I got the gift from my grandmother, she said she was a good artist”. She said.

“I love it”. Maya said and kissed her cheek.” Thank you”.

“Am glad you like it”.

” I definitely need one of my pictures with that portrait”. Lisa said.

“Me too”. Theo said.

” Well, let the party begin”. Ryan said.

“Did I come late?”. Ma.lucy interrupted from behind.

” Aunt!”.Maya called and rushed to hug her.”You are here”.

“Yes dear, congratulations”. she said and they pulled away from each other.

” Thank you, am glad you are here”.

“Time to cut the cake”. Lisa said.

They came together and cut the cake, Ryan took a selfie with them, and a lot of photo was taken as they celebrated.

Meanwhile, Diana was in her room, she wanted to be present at the celebration, but she was scared of what they would do to her.

” I wish to be part of the celebration going on downstairs”. She said sadly.

The fun continued, Jayden and Maya went to freshen and then came back looking beautiful in their wear. Mia came and placed a ribbon across her shoulder that had a write-up on it that said (UPCOMING MOM IN TOWN)

“You two look amazing”. Mr.Williams said.

” Thank you, Dad”. Jayden said.

“May evil be far from you”. Ma Lucy prayed.

” Thanks, aunt”. Maya said.

“Selfie time!”. Mia said and they took selfies with them”.

” Aunt, can I feel the baby?”. Ella asked. Everyone stares at her surprisingly.

“Um, sure”. Maya said nervously.

Ella moved closer to her and touched her tummy with her palm, she closed her eyes for a while, everyone was wondering what she was doing, then she let out a smile and opened her eyes.

” He is so handsome like his father and he is the reason why you two fell in love with each other”. She said and everyone was surprised.

“How do you know the gender of the child?”. Jayden asked confusedly.

” Did I ruin the surprises? You two didn’t go for the gender of the baby?”Ella asked.

“No dear, they both wanted it as a surprise”. Mrs.williams said.

” oops, I ruined it, I didn’t mean for that, am so sorry”. She said sincerely.

“Is okay,”. Maya smile.

” Okay, you two make a perfect couple…but”.She paused and everyone became confused.

“But what?” Maya asked confusedly.

“There is someone in this house that is not here, she wished to be in this celebration going on”. She said and continued.” She has no bad intention to any of you, she is lonely and she is very sick, all she needs is for every one of you to forgive her so that she can die peacefully”. She said and everyone stared at her confusedly.

“How do you know about this?”. Theo asked.

” I don’t know, I just happened to feel people’s pain, you need to bring her down here, she is lonely”. She added and turn Ryan.”Brother, go and bring her here, she needs to be here”. She said. Ryan hesitated for a while.

“Okay”. he left to Diana’s doorstep and knocked.

Diana came to open the door, she was surprised to see who it was.

” Um, is there a problem?”. She asked firmly.

“No, everyone needs you downstairs”. he said.

” Me?”. She sputtered surprisedly.

“Yes, you should hurry”. he said and walked away.

” I am wanted downstairs? but why? Did I do something wrong?”. She fears.

Everyone was still in the mood of celebration when Diana came over, she became nervous with the way everyone was staring at her.

“Come on dear”. Mr.Williams said smiling at her.

Diana moved closer to them and Maya fed her some cakes.

“Be free”. Maya said.

” Don’t be scared, we won’t harm you in any way”. Mrs. Williams said and they smiled at each other.

“Let the fun begin”. Ryan said.

The music went loud, everyone started dancing and enjoying themselves till they called it a day.

JAYDEN’S BEDROOM

” I think she is gifted, how did she know Diana was sick?”. Maya asked.

“I don’t know, she is really gifted”.

” Yeah, I wonder if she was right about the gender of the baby”.Maya said.

“I hope so too”. he said. ” Don’t worry about it, let’s sleep, It has been a stressful day”. Jayden said as he cuddled her in his arms.”Good night”.

“Good night”. She turns off the light. Soon they drift to sleep.

Diana’s Room

Diana sat down on the bed staring out to the sky smiling lovingly.

” I wish Maya and jayden live happily forever and I hope everyone forgives me completely”. She said and lay down covering herself with the blanket
