In a dark room, a shadow of a woman was shown on the wall making a phone call.

“Let’s give them a little more time to nurse that thing they call a child before we strike”. The unknown voice said.” Wait for my signal before you do it”.

She hung up and laughed out loud evilly. “You don’t know what is coming your way Jayden, you think you ruin my life and get away with it”. she scoffs.” Watch how I take your beloved away from you”. She smirks laughing wickedly.

JAYDEN’S MANSION

Jayden was at the corner of the building burning some papers including the contract he had signed with Maya.

“Need help?” Diana interrupted from behind and moved closer to him.

“Not really, thanks”. He said.

” Ok, how is Maya and the baby?”.She asked firmly.

“Fine, they are taking their nap”. he replied.

” That’s good”. She smiled. “I guess I will leave you to what you are doing”. She turns to leave, but she stops as she feels dizzy.

“Are you okay?”. Jayden asked seeing her mood.

” Yeah”. She tried to walk, but suddenly she felt dizzy and fell losing consciousness.

“Diana!”. Jayden rushed to her quickly and carried her in his arms leading her to the room.

An hour later, Doc. Micheal was examining her body with Jayden and Maya behind him.

” Is she okay?”.Maya asked tensely.

“Not really”. Michael said as he turned to them.

” what do you mean?”.Jayden asked.

“Am sorry to say, her condition is getting worse”.

” is there nothing we can do?”Maya asked.

“No, it’s in the final stages”. he replied.

” How many months do I have?”.Diana interrupted.

They turn to her to see she is awake.

“Diana”. Maya moved to sit next to her on the bed. ” Nothing is going to happen to you”.

“I am dying, there is nothing we can do”. She sob.

” You are not going to die, don’t say that”. Maya said.

“Doctor, is there nothing we can do, probably fly her out of the state?”. Jayden asked.

” No, am afraid she has few months to live”. he said.

Jayden and Maya sighed sadly while Diana burst into tears.

“Don’t cry, a miracle can still happen”. She reassured her as she was trying to console her.

Ella was in her room drawing some portraits. There was a knock on the door and Mrs. Williams entered with a glass of milk and some cookies.

” Hey sweetie, what are you doing?”. She asked and moved to join her on the bed.

“I am making a portrait of you and Grandpa”. She said and showed it to her.

” Wow, it’s beautiful!”.

“Do you love it?”. she asked.

” Yes, I love it, it’s beautiful”. She kissed her head.”You are so talented” she said and gave her the milk and the cookies.” have this”.

“Thank you, Grandma”.

” You are welcome, I will leave you to your work”. She said and walked away.

Maya was breastfeeding the baby and at the same time thinking about Diana’s health.

“Don’t let it bother you”. Diana interrupted her as she walked in.” I know what you are thinking”. she said smiling.

“How are you feeling?”.

” Great”.

“Am sorry you have to go through this”.

” You shouldn’t have, am just paying for my sins”. Diana said.

“What sins? You don’t deserve this”.

“Let’s say is my fate”.

“Stop saying that, a miracle can happen”. Maya said.

” I hope so”.

“It will”. She reassures her and they smile at each other.

CLUBHOUSE

Mia was getting ready to go home when two of her colleagues came to her.

” Mia, you are leaving already?”. First colleagues asked.

“Yes, it’s getting late”. she replied.

” But there is someone in the VIP lounge who needs to be attended to”. The second girl said.

“Really? Can’t you girls do, is my closing hour”. She said.

” We did, but he refused, I guess he is used to your services”. She said.

Mia sighed tiredly.

“OK, I will do it”.

” Sure, good luck”.

“Be right back”. She walks away and the girls smirk after her.

” Let’s see if Ryan will wanna be with you for this”. The second girl said.

“She thinks is the best among us, just because she dating Ryan, she is now feeling like she is on top of the world”. The first girl said acting jealous.

Meanwhile, the three girls gang up to set Mia up with a guy by taking photos of them making out and sending them to Ryan.

Along the corridor, Mia was walking to the VIP lounge when she was stopped by another of her colleagues who was holding a can of orange juice.

” Mia, can you have a taste of this juice, I made it myself”. She said.

“Ok,” She takes a sip of it.

“How does it taste?”.

” Nice, it’s perfect”. She said smiling.

“Thank you”.

“Sure, if you will excuse me, I need to attend to someone at the VIP lounge”. She walks away.

The girl stared after her and gave a thump to the other two girls who were hiding staring at them.

Mia got to the room and knocked, at that moment she was feeling a little dizzy. She opened the door and entered after a voice ushered her in. She was surprised to see three unknown guys smoking and drinking.

“Are you the one attending to us?”The first guy asked staring lustfully at her.

” Yes, what can I get for you guys?”. She asked trying to control her dizziness.

“Wow, you look beautiful”. The second guy said.

” Indeed she is “. The third guy said.

Mia became uncomfortable with the way they were staring at her.

” Please tell me what you want.”. she said.

“What’s wrong? Are you in a rush?”. The first guy asked as he moved to her trying to flirt, but Mia pushed back.

” What are you doing?”. She said feeling dizzy and trying not to fall.

“Come on, you will like it”. he said.

Mia became weak as she couldn’t hold her dizziness anymore. The guy carried her to the sofa.

” It’s time”. The second guy said as they were smiling evilly.

<THEO’S MANSION>

Ryan was on the balcony feeling restless.

“Are you okay?”. Theo interrupted from behind.

” I don’t know, I just feel restless”. he said.

“Why is that? Have you talked to Mia today?”.

” Yeah, we talked an hour ago”. he replied.

“Call her again, maybe she can ease your restlessness”. Theo said.

” I guess so” ” He brought out his phone to call Mia but an unknown call came in.”Hello?”. he said as he picked it up.

“Hello, am I speaking to Mr.Ryan?”. An unknown voice asked from the other end.

” Yes, who is this please?”. he asked firmly.

“It doesn’t matter, I just called to inform you that your girlfriend is in danger, come to the clubhouse now before it’s too late”. The phone got disconnected before Ryan could talk.

” Is something wrong?”. Theo asked seeing the look on his face.

“I just got a call from an unknown person that says Mia is in trouble in the clubhouse, and that I should hurry”.

” Then what are we waiting for, let’s go”. He said.

“Sure”.

They rushed to the car, two of their men followed them and they drove off speedily.

CLUBHOUSE

Mia was laying unconsciously on the Sofa. One of the guys was already working on the camera, the rest two were staring lovingly at Mia.

” Let’s hurry up before someone comes here”. The second guy said.

“I will undress her”. The first guy said as he sat on Mia’s legs and started to undo the button on her shirt, Soon he was done taking off her shirt and she was left with her bra and her trousers on.

” Let me take off her pants”. The third guy said.

“No, let me do it my way”. The first guy said.

The rest sighed tiredly at him, He bent down to take off Mia’s pants off when the door suddenly opened traveling Ryan and the rest. The guys went stunned.

” Mia”.Ryan said surprisedly as he clenched his fist and punched the guy hard in the face.

Theo and the rest attack the rest guys and start raining punches on them. Ryan rushed to Mia, he took off his jacket and covered Mia with it. he carried her out to the car and lay her down in the backseat.

“Is she okay?”. Theo asked from behind as he came with one of the guys while his men were holding the rest tight. The manager came out due to the commotion.

” Mr. Williams, what is going on here?”. The manager asked surprisedly seeing how weak the guys they were holding were.

The girls behind the plan were staring from their hiding place knowing fully well that they were in trouble.

The guys were dragged into the car, and then Theo and the rest entered and zoomed off leaving the manager confused.

THEO’S MANSION

~~~Ryan’s bedroom~~~

The room was well-furnished with interior design and a master bed with an oversized wardrobe and a big photo of Ryan hanging on the wall of the bed.

Ryan laid Mia on the bed gently and covered her with the blanket.

“Am sorry Mia, I should have come early “. he caressed her face and kissed her forehead.
