Ellen was relieved, relieved that atleast the only person who understands her was here.
She couldn’t hug Matilda back because of the things she was holding.
Matilda broke the hug and stared at her.
“You don’t look well, are you sick?, Is Shane treating you badly?, I heard Ivy is back, did you treat her bad?” Matilda questioned and glared at Shane fiercely.
“Wh.. what, Eeoma…”
“Am I right?, I warned you, I said I was going to sue you and That stupid wife of yours if you mess with Ellen isn’t it?” She snarled and Shane rubbed his nose.
This is it.
“Eeomoni, they are not treating me badly” Ellen said saving his ass and he shook his eyes.
“Are you sure?, ” Matilda asked her and she nodded.
” How is my grandchild?, Or should it be grandchildren? ” Matilda muttered and Shane and Ellen tore their gazes to her.
” Eeomoni! ”
” Eeoma! ” They called at once and she frowned.
” What? ” She muttered.
Grandchildren?, The thought made Ellen Shivered while Shane’s throats bubbled.
” Eeomoni is that you? ” They heard Ivy’s voice from the staircase and they all turned.
Ellen shook her eyes slowly as she looked away.
Shane sighed knowing this is not surely going to end well.
Matilda just kept a cold look.
“Ooh, you are back from your Adventure” Matilda said and Ivy’s lips moved as she stopped and the fours all felt weird.
“Eeomoni…”
“Ellen Honey, go dress up, I should take you for Check up, you’ll be registering for your Anti Natal care today ” Matilda said and Ivy balled her fist as her throats moved angrily
“Yes Eeomoni”
Ellen nodded biting her lower lips and she bowed before walking upstairs , she stopped beside Ivy and they stared at each other and Ellen bowed her head slowly and walked passed her, she felt a sense of boldness with Matilda.
Shane sighed and scratched the back of his neck knowing what was coming next.
“I guess you must have known that I am expecting a grandchild from another woman” Matilda said and Ivy’s eyes shook slowly.
” Eeoma, why don’t you sit while waiting for Ellen” Shane said but she ignored him.
“Eeomoni, he cheated, shouldn’t you scold him? ” Ivy questioned and Matilda scoffed.
” Scold him for a mistake?, Of course I did, but it has happened”
“Eeomoni this is not fair” Ivy said painfully and Matilda tilted her neck.
“Speaking of who is fair or not, are you?, Is it fair not to satisfy your Husband for three years?” Matilda fired and Shane held her bending his neck in plea.
“Eeoma… Please…”
“Are you still taking the fool side?!, What if she has been fooling you!?, What if she is even cheating?!, Whose woman in her normal senses who claims to love her husband deny him his right?!, Does it even make sense!,” Matilda snarled and Ivy’s chest heaved up and down angrily.
Matilda words hits real deep, what if….
“Eeomoni, that is not true , I love Shane so much” Ivy said shakily and Shane stared at her, at some point, he almost doubted her.
“Love?, What about you two having kids?, Tell me you are Barren and I will understand, I will never speak bad of you, but if you are not, what is stopping you?” Matilda questioned and Ivy’s fingers shook.
Shane knew this won’t be funny.
“” Eeomoni, my Job… ”
” As a Model, then why did you get married if you don’t want kids and Love your job so much? ” Matilda questioned fiercely and rolled her eyes before walking to the sitting room to go seat.
Shane stared at Ivy, his heart was hard towards her.
She slowly stared at him and he saw her eyes getting watery.
” Ivy… ”
“I am going out” Ivy said and dashed out of the house.
Shane sighed and stared at Matilda, he should get her something.
