Ellen breathed out shakily after she was done putting on her wears.
Mania had come to call her down for breakfast.
She is going to see Hailey today, so she should inform Shane, seems she and they won’t be communicating much since his wife is back, even if her mind was judging her, she won’t lie.
She would wish Shane to keep sneaking to her room like last night, she was a fool who’d only get hurt at the end.
She went out of the room and shut the door behind her.
She started walking towards the staircase and paused when she heard Shane’s room door open.
She immediately prayed and wished that it wasn’t Ivy, because her character last night was traumatizing.
“I see you seem Comfortable in a home you don’t belong to”
Ellen shut her eyes immediately, Luck really wasn’t in her side, she slowly turned to see Ivy standing by the door.
She was looking fresh, and beautiful, she can’t believe she was sharing a man with her role model.
“Go… Good morning” Ellen greeted bowing and Ivy crossed her arms on her breasts as she counted her steps towards Ellen.
she stared disgustedly at Ellen and twisted her lips.
“I can’t believe you were the same girl who looked all innocent, so your aim at coming to my home is sleeping with my husband” Ivy said and Ellen’s jaw hardened.
“I … I don’t know what you are talking about Madam Ivy”
“Don’t pretend you don’t know what am talking about you shameless cheat!” Ivy snapped slowly and Ellen swallowed hard.
“It was a mistake on Mr Shane’s side Madam Ivy, I won’t ever hit on a Married man” Ellen said a little bit boldly and Ivy twisted her lips even when she lied, she did hit back on Shane last night.
“Shut up you bitch, stop trying to play the victim, I have met many people like you, Many people who are trying so desperately to change their Miserable lives hitting on older men” Ivy said and Ellen’s eyes watered slowly, now this hits the spot.
She was speechless, not knowing what to say.
Ivy smirked and stared at her stomach.
“Do you think you have gotten it all because you are carrying some bastard for my husband?
The child will be taken away and your worthless self will be sent away, you will only become the desperate whore”
“Do not call my baby a bastard, I can take all insults, just not my Unborn child” Ellen said protectively as her eyes moved in anger and Ivy laughed surprised.
“You have gotten some guts isn’t it?, ” Ivy Muttered and tapped Ellen’s stomach with her forefinger and she gasped moving backwards.
“That thing in there , do you think it is important to Shane?,, Of course not, it is not, ”
” Stop” Ellen said as her eyes was red and Ivy smirked and pushed her backwards with her fingers.
“if I were you, I will just get rid of that bastard in you, or leave my home, or I will make your life a miserable hell, not only your Life, but your Miserable Family” Ivy said evily still pushing Ellen.
Tears was already rushing down Ellen’s eyes.
Ivy raised her brows wickedly and turned walking away.
” Nice my foot” she muttered.
Ellen sniffed and wiped her tears quickly, she folded her lips painfully and covered her hands protectively on her stomach,
Her life is already Miserable, Miserable from When Shane had his way with her, and what made it More miserable was that she was getting attached to him even when she knew the consequences.
She turned and walked back to her room as more tears left her eyes, she just can’t think of facing Shane this way.
She rushed to the restroom and turned on the water splashing water on her face.
She doesn’t belong here, it was the only thing that kept ringing in her ear, she was an intruder, if only she was not pregnant, if only…She stopped thinking when her stomach growled and she shut her eyes.
Gosh she was hungry.
