BECOMING HIS PLAYTHING : CHAPTER 131 – THE END

BY KATHY D

The next morning, the members were still asleep when the door was flung open and they were dragged out of the place. “What is going on? Where are you taking us?” Rico asked, but they were ignored, as always.

They were brought outside and made to kneel down in front of the entire clan. Rosario stood up from where he was sitting, a sly smile spreading across his face.

“Today, you are all going to be murdered in front of all my members,” he announced, his voice dripping with malice. “This is to pass a message that it’s unwise to mess with me. But I can still pardon you if you can stand up and vow your loyalty to me by taking this special injection.”

He paused, waiting for a response, but none of them moved. Roman pleaded with Mauler with his eyes, but she looked away, her expression resolute.

Rosario’s smile grew wider as he gazed at the group. “I can see you are really loyal,” he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “I can’t understand how the two men managed to steal my strongest members.”

He turned to face the others who had come from the Ruthless Reaper clan. “If you know you can’t be injected, join them and die with them,” he said, his voice cold and detached.

No one moved, and Rosario’s smile grew even wider. “Good, proceed with the prosecution,” he said, sitting down beside his son, who hadn’t said a word.

Roman looked worried, his eyes fixed on the group. “What’s wrong with you?” Rosario asked, noticing his son’s unease.

“I just think you could have taken the only people who mean something to them,” Roman said, his voice barely above a whisper. “What if they didn’t show up?”

Rosario shrugged. “I don’t care. They chose this path themselves,” he said, his expression unyielding.

Roman watched worriedly as they made them kneel down and blindfolded them. He was holding his breath, his heart racing with fear.

“Are you okay?” Rosario asked, noticing his son’s unease.

“Why wouldn’t I be?” Roman replied, his voice tight with tension.

Rosario’s expression softened slightly, but his eyes remained cold. “Good,” he said. “Then let’s proceed.” He added before sitting.

Just as the guards were about to start shooting, a bus drove into the clan and Alessandro, Virus, Hardin, and Hacker jumped out. “I told you they would come,” Rosario said with a smirk, standing up from his seat.

“I thought you ran away. Why are you back?” Rosario asked, his eyes gleaming with amusement.

“These people are innocent. You should leave them out of this,” Alessandro said, his voice firm and commanding.

Rosario chuckled. “That’s too bad, because I don’t think I can do that. But I can actually let them go if you can give me what I want.”

Alessandro’s eyes narrowed. “And what is it?”

Rosario’s smile grew wider. “Her. That’s all I want.” He pointed at Harmony, who was standing behind Alessandro.

Alessandro’s face darkened with anger. “That will never happen. Nobody will touch her.”

Rosario shrugged. “Your choice. Kill them all.”

The guards behind Rosario raised their guns and started shooting. Alessandro, Virus, and Hardin were quick to respond, taking down the guards with ease. But soon, more guards arrived, and the three men found themselves outnumbered.

Hacker, who had been quiet until now, joined the fight, using his agility and quick reflexes to take down several guards. But despite their best efforts, they were soon overpowered.

Harmony tried to run, but several guards caught her and dragged her to Rosario’s lap. “She’s coming to kill you all in a few minutes. That will be a great sight to behold,” Rosario said with a smirk before standing up and walking away with Harmony.

Alessandro felt a wave of helplessness wash over him as he watched Harmony being dragged away. He tried to fight off the guards, but there were too many of them.

As he was beaten to the ground, he saw Rosario’s face above him, laughing and triumphant. “You should have stayed out of this, Alessandro,” Rosario said, his voice dripping with malice.

Alessandro’s vision began to blur, but he saw Harmony’s face in front of him, her eyes pleading with him to save her. He tried to reach out to her, but his arms were too heavy.

Harmony was forcefully tied down to a cold, metal table, her wrists and ankles bound by thick chains. She was crying and trying to break free, but it was no use. The chains were too strong, and she was too weak.

Rosario sneered at her, holding up a giant injection. “You’re going to do exactly as I say, or you’ll suffer the consequences,” he spat.

Harmony shook her head, trying to speak, but her voice was hoarse from screaming. She tried to struggle again, but Rosario just laughed.

“You’re not going anywhere,” he said, his eyes gleaming with cruelty.

He raised the injection, and Harmony flinched, but she didn’t stop looking at him. She was trying to reach out to him, to make him see sense, but he was too far gone.

Just as Rosario was about to inject her, one of the guards suddenly grabbed his hand.

“Don’t do that?” The guard said, his voice firm.

Rosario’s face twisted in anger.

“How dare you?” he snarled, and wanted to hit the guard, but he caught his hand and kick Rosario.

Rosario flew across the room, hitting the hard wall with a thud. He groaned in pain and slowly got to his feet, his eyes fixed on Rosario.

But then, something unexpected happened. The guards who had been holding Harmony down suddenly let her go, and they turned on Rosario.

“You’re not in charge here,” one of them growled, and they started to approach Rosario angrily.

Rosario’s eyes widened in shock, and he quickly ran out of the room.

“I should have listened to my son,” he muttered. “That bitch turned them against me.”

Roman, who had been watching from the sidelines, looked at him in surprise.

“If you want to be promoted and be beside me forever, fight for me,” he said to the Ruthless Reapers members who hadn’t been injected yet.

The members looked at each other uncertainly, but then they started to fight each other fiercely. Harmony watched in horror as they clawed and punched each other, their eyes wild with desperation. She quickly left the place.

The battle between Rosario’s men and Harmony’s men was intense, with both sides trading blows and neither gaining the upper hand. But as the fight wore on, it became clear that Harmony’s men were gaining the advantage.

Alessandro was a whirlwind of steel, his sword slicing through Rosario’s men with ease. Virus was a master of hand-to-hand combat, taking down opponents with his lightning-fast reflexes. Hardin was a force to be reckoned with, his massive strength sending Rosario’s men flying across the room. Rico and Rika were a deadly duo, their guns blazing as they took down enemy after enemy. Ghost and Reaper were like phantoms, their movements so swift and silent that they seemed to be everywhere at once. Stalker was a master of stealth, taking down opponents from the shadows. And Mauler was a fierce warrior, her strength and agility making her a formidable opponent.

As the fight raged on, Rosario watched in growing despair. He had never felt so defeated in his life. He knew he had to do something, or risk losing everything. And so, with a heavy heart, he made the decision to kill Harmony, who seemed to be controlling his men.

He brought out his sniper rifle and pointed it at Harmony, who was busy fighting off several opponents.

“Dad, let’s just get out of here,” Roman said worriedly, but Rosario was resolute.

“I will never be a coward,” he said, and pulled the trigger.

But just as the gun was about to fire, someone pushed Harmony out of the way, and the bullet hit them instead. It was Mauler, who had thrown herself in front of Harmony at the last second. The bullet hit her straight in the chest, and she fell to the ground, her eyes wide with shock.

“No!” Roman shouted, running towards her. He quickly caught her before she hit the ground, and held her in his arms. Everyone stopped fighting and looked towards them, shocked by the sudden turn of events.

Even Rosario was shocked, his eyes wide with disbelief.

“What have you done, Dad?” Roman shouted at him, tears streaming down his face.

“I have been a jerk, I know that, but please forgive me, Mauler. I promise to be on my best behavior. Please, Mauler, I really love you.” He cried while staring at her bloody face.

“Nobody should be sad about this, at least I will go and join my family” Mauler said with a smile while blood drip out of her mouth, thus make them more sad, especially Roman whose tears couldn’t stop drinking out of his eyes.

“You should stop crying, I love you too and I will be glad if you leave a better life” Mauler said and Harmony tears drop.

“You shouldn’t blame yourself sister(Harmony) Bye everyone” Mauler manage to say before her body went limp in Roman arm.

“No no no, please wake up” Roman called out in tears, others were crying too, harmony was sitting on the ground where she cried deeply, she felt terrible right now. Roman suddenly stood up and turn toward his father.

Roman’s eyes blazed with anger as he pointed his gun at his father, Rosario.

“Look what you’ve done, Dad,” he spat, his voice trembling with rage.

“You’ve taken away the only person who made me feel special, the only woman I loved. You’ve killed her!” He yell in tears.

Rosario’s face remained calm, but his eyes darted nervously to the gun in Roman’s hand.

“Roman, come to your senses,” he said, his voice smooth as silk.

“Don’t ruin all my plans.”He added.

Roman’s laughter was bitter. “That’s all you ever care about, isn’t it? Your plans, your ambitions. You don’t care about me, about what I want or need. I’m just a pawn to you, a tool to be used and discarded.” He said.

The room fell silent, the only sound the heavy breathing of the two men. Then, in a flash of metal, Rosario pulled the trigger. A bullet whizzed through the air, striking Roman in the head. Roman went down dead immediately.

“I am sorry son, but I can’t allow you to ruin all my plan” he said without remorse.

He started running towards the lab, a maniacal glint in his eye.

“I won’t allow anyone to ruin my plan!” he shouted, his voice echoing off the walls.

The people just watch the callous man in shock, they couldn’t believe all what is happening.

As he reached the lab, he grabbed the huge syringe thay was still laying on the ground with a shaking hand. He stuck it into his neck, and at first, nothing seemed to happen. But then, his vein started to bulge, his skin turning a sickly shade of green. The ground beneath him began to crack, and he started laughing, a sound that sent chills down the spines of everyone in the room.

“You fools,” he cackled. “You think you can stop me? I am the master of my own destiny!” He laugh.

As he laughed, his body began to contort and twist, his limbs elongating and morphing into grotesque shapes. His skin turned a deeper shade of green, and his eyes glowed with an otherworldly light.

The room was filled with the sound of screams and terrified gasps as Rosario’s transformation continued. He was no longer human, but a monstrous creature driven by a lust for power and control.

Rosario, now a monstrous creature, started destroying everything in his path. He crushed buildings and cars, his strength and power unmatched. He mocked the people who tried to run away from him, calling them weak and pathetic.

Harmony knew she had to stop him, but she was scared. She had never seen Rosario like this before, and she didn’t know if she could defeat him. But she knew she had to try.

“Rosario, stop!” she shouted, trying to reason with him. “You’re going to destroy everything!” She said.

But Rosario just laughed. “You think you can stop me, Kid?” he sneered. “I am the strongest being on this planet now. You’re just a weak little girl.” He smirk.

Harmony knew she had to act fast. She charged at Rosario, but he was too powerful. He swatted her aside like a fly, and she landed hard on the ground.

As Rosario approached her, he suddenly fell to the ground, groaning in pain, it felt like his inside was on fire. The serum he had injected was affecting him, and he was helpless.

The crack that had appeared earlier started getting worse, spreading throughout the entire clan. The building began to collapse, and the people ran for their lives.

“Help me!” Rosario cried, but no one came to his aid. They all ignored him and ran out of the clan, leaving him to his fate.

As the building collapsed, a huge brick fell on top of Rosario, pinning him to the ground. He couldn’t move, and he just lay there, bleeding and helpless.

The once-mighty Rosario empire was now in ruins, destroyed by Rosario’s own hand. And as the dust settled, Harmony stood victorious, but scarred. She knew that she had saved the world from Rosario’s destruction, but she also knew that she would never forget the horrors she had witnessed that day.

As she walked away from the ruins, she heard a faint cry for help. She turned back to see Rosario, still pinned under the brick, his eyes pleading for mercy.

But Harmony just shook her head. “You should have thought of that before you tried to destroy the world,” she said, and walked away, leaving Rosario to his fate.
She saw a car already waiting for her, she join others and the drove away.

Few hours later, the members sat around a table at Rico’s hideout, their faces somber and sad. The weight of Mauler’s death still lingered in the air, and it was clear that they were all struggling to come to terms with the loss.

“So, what are we going to do now?” Rico asked, breaking the silence.

“I think we should all start living the normal lives we’ve always wanted,” Alessandro said, his voice laced with a hint of sadness.

“That’s true, but we don’t even have anything now,” Reaper said, his voice cracking with emotion. “Where are we going to start from?”He asked.

Just as it seemed like the conversation was going to spiral into despair, Virus spoke up, a sly grin spreading across his face.

“We have something,” he said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. “A lot of things, actually.” He said.

The others looked at him in confusion, unsure of what he was getting at.

“What do you mean?” Hardin asked, his curiosity piqued.

Virus leaned in, a conspiratorial look on his face.

“That day when Venom told me to wait outside the passage, I secretly followed him, but went in a different direction. And that’s when I found it – a room filled with all the cash and gold we’ve been getting. That’s where he kept it all.” Venom said.

The others stared at him in shock, their faces slowly breaking into smiles.

“With that kind of money, we can achieve all our dreams,” Virus said, his grin growing wider.

The others quickly caught on, their excitement building.

“What are we waiting for, then?” Rica asked, her voice bubbly with enthusiasm. “Let’s get the money!”

The others cheered, their sadness momentarily forgotten in the face of their newfound hope. They quickly stood up, their faces set with determination, and made their way to the bus.

As they drove away from the hideout, the wind in their hair, they knew that they were starting a new chapter in their lives – one filled with possibility and promise.
