BECOMING HIS PLAYTHING : CHAPTER 51 – 60

BY KATHY D

(CALM ME DOWN)

The three gangs were hot on their heels, their cars speeding down the highway as they pursued the Ruthless Reapers’ truck. Bullets flew through the air, piercing the metal and shattering the windows. Venom, Butcher, and the others fought back with everything they had, returning fire and dodging the hail of bullets.

But the three gangs weren’t just focused on taking down the Ruthless Reapers. They were also determined to eliminate each other, knowing that only one gang could claim the gold. The Overlord Rosario gang managed to burst the Red Vipers’ tire, sending their truck careening into the forest. The Evil Syndicate and Overlord Rosario gangs continued to exchange fire, their bullets whizzing past each other’s heads.

Just when it seemed like the Ruthless Reapers were going to get away, a truck suddenly appeared in front of them, blocking their path. The Black Mamba gang had arrived, and they quickly took out the tires and surrounded the truck. The Ruthless Reapers held their breath as the Black Mambas approached, guns drawn.

But when they opened the door, they were met with an empty truck. No one was inside. They rushed to the back, hoping to find the gold, but it was empty too. The Evil Syndicate and Overlord Rosario gangs arrived, only to realize they had been duped. They had been pursuing an empty truck the whole time. (They actually run into another direction at a turning point and it was an empty truck that was driving, it was been control by Hacker)

The Ruthless Reapers, meanwhile, were cheering and laughing as they entered their clan’s territory, their heads held high. Their clan members rushed out to meet them, congratulating them on their clever trick. The Ruthless Reapers had outsmarted their enemies and gotten away with the gold.

As they celebrated, Venom turned to Butcher and grinned. “That was too easy.”

Butcher chuckled. “Yeah, but it was worth it. We got the gold, and we got the upper hand.”

Venom nodded, his eyes gleaming with triumph. “Now let’s get ready for the next move.

“You are welcome back son” Godfather Marco said happily and hugged Venom. Alessandro stood there expressionlessly.

“Where is my other son?” Godfather Marco asked and Alessandro quickly disengage from the hug, he enter a car and started driving speedily.

“Where is he going?” Godfather Marco asked.

“We can’t find members, I believe underboss is going to look for them” Reaper said.

“That boy, he could have call for back up” Godfather Marco groaned.

Alessandro had been searching the forest for hours, his eyes scanning the trees for any sign of movement. He was looking for all four of them – Hardin, Snake, Sniper, and Mauler. He had been worried sick about them, and he couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was off.

As he rounded a bend in the road, he saw two figures slumped by the side of the road. His heart skipped a beat as he recognized the twins, Sniper and Mauler. They looked exhausted, their faces pale and drawn.

“Thank God,” he muttered to himself, pulling over beside them. “Get in,” he said gruffly, opening the door.

Sniper and Mauler exchanged a tired glance, then smiled weakly at each other. They climbed into the car, their movements slow and labored.

“Where are Hardin and Snake?” Alessandro asked, his eyes scanning the surrounding area.

Sniper shook her head. “We haven’t see them after we separated” she said.

Alessandro’s face darkened. “I’ll find them,” he promised. “Don’t worry.” He muttered and drive toward the clan, Sniper couldn’t stop looking at him, a bright smile on her face, she can’t believe she is this close to him.

“Hey, hey, Snake, snap out of it!” Hardin said worriedly, shaking Snake’s shoulders. They were still trapped inside the net, and Snake was struggling to stay conscious.

“I can’t…breathe,” Snake whispered, her voice tired and weak. She had lost a lot of blood from her leg, and the net was only making things worse.

Hardin looked around frantically, trying to think of a way to escape. He spotted a weak point in the net and used all his strength to rip it open. They both fell through the hole, but Hardin managed to twist their bodies in mid-air, so they landed beside the iron spikes instead of on top of them.

As they hit the ground, a loud growl echoed through the air. Hardin’s heart raced as he quickly scooped up Snake and started running. He was weak too, but he knew he had to keep moving.

Finally, they reached the place where the gold was parked. Hardin gently laid Snake on the ground and tried to wake her up. “Snake, Snake, come on, wake up!” he said, shaking her shoulders.

Snake’s eyes flickered open, and she looked up at Hardin with a weak smile. “Hardin……”she whispered.

Hardin nodded, relief washing over him. “We made it, Snake. We’re safe for now.”

Alessandro entered his mansion, his footsteps echoing through the hallway. As he approached the harmony room, he could hear a whimpering sound coming from inside. He entered gently and saw Harmony lying on the bed, her body shaking with sobs.

“What’s wrong?” he asked calmly, his voice softening slightly.

Harmony looked up at him, her eyes red and puffy. “My brother, they can’t find him,” she cried, her voice trembling.

Alessandro raised an eyebrow. “I thought you trusted him,” he said, a hint of skepticism in his tone.

Harmony looked at him in confusion. “Huh?”

Alessandro’s expression turned stern. “You are supposed to trust him, aren’t you? He’s the strong brother you know. You should know nothing will happen to him. He’ll be here tomorrow morning. I’ll make sure of that.”

Harmony nodded slowly, a wave of relief washing over her. She knew her brother was capable and strong.

Alessandro turned to leave. “Clean those childish tears of yours and make something for me. I’m hungry.”

Harmony nodded again, this time more confidently. She knew her brother would be okay. She cleaned her tears and got up from the bed, a sense of determination in her heart. She would make something for Alessandro and wait for her brother to return.

Virus was dragged into the torture room, wearing only his boxer shorts. His hands were tied to a rope at the top, but he didn’t struggle or say a word. Pedro entered a few minutes later, his face twisted in a deep frown. His twins, Rica and Rico, followed closely behind.

“Seeing your expression, I can guess you lost the gold,” Virus sneered. “I trust Venom, he’s not my brother for nothing.

“ I’ll get the gold, just wait and watch” Pedro said.

Virus smirked. “Good luck with that.”

Pedro’s anger flared. “If you want to live long, you’ll answer all my questions.” He picked up a horsewhip with spikes. “What is Venom up to? He’s the one killing the Dons, right?”

Virus shrugged. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Pedro whipped him twice, the spikes cutting deep into Virus’s skin. Blood oozed out, but Virus didn’t flinch. He kept glaring at Pedro.
Rica look down unable to watch.

“Are you ready to talk now?” Pedro asked again.

Virus laughed. “Just kill me.”

Pedro started whipping him again, the skin peeling off Virus’s back. Virus groaned with each strike.

“Dad,” Rica called out, her voice trembling. “I think you should rest. You’re just coming from a stressful place.”

Pedro glared at her but seemed to consider her words. Rico added, “Yeah, father, maybe you should take a break.”

Pedro dropped the whip and muttered, “Leave him here. I’ll be back tomorrow.” He stormed out, followed by the guards, except for Rica.

“Why are you here?” Rica asked angrily, her eyes blazing with fury.

Virus smiled weakly, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous spark. “I’m here because of you,” he said, his voice low and husky.

Rica’s face turned red with rage. “Are you crazy? My father will kill you!” she spat, her hands on her hips.

Virus chuckled, a weak but defiant sound. “He won’t kill me easily. He needs information from me.”

Rica’s expression turned skeptical. “What could you possibly have that he needs?”

Virus’s smile grew wider, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “That’s for me to know and you to find out.”

Rica snapped, her patience wearing thin. “Why are you smiling? This isn’t a joke!”

Virus’s grin faltered, his eyes clouding with pain. “Because…I get to see your face. And I think I deserve a kiss.”

Rica’s eyes widened in outrage. “You can’t be serious!”

Virus’s smile returned, his eyes glinting with amusement. “Dead serious.”

Rica shook her head, her long hair flying around her face. “I can’t believe you right now. This isn’t a game!”

With that, she quickly turned and left the room, leaving Virus to groan in pain, his body aching from his injuries.

Black Jungle

Hardin had already made a fire and was about to catch a deer. They roasted it over the flames, the savory smell filling the air.

“I think you need to treat your wound to prevent infection,” Hardin said, opening his jacket to reveal a wrap cloth filled with medical tools and disinfectant.

Snake’s eyes widened in surprise. “Why do you have this? Are you a doctor?”

Hardin smiled wryly. “My father was a doctor.”

He expertly disinfected her wound, and Snake gasped in pain. Hardin quickly stitched the cut with thread and needle before wrapping it with band-aids.

“Where is your father now?” Snake asked curiously.

Hardin’s expression turned somber. “I don’t want to talk about him.”

Snake nodded understandingly, respecting his boundaries.

As they finished eating and settled in for the night, Snake gazed at Hardin with newfound respect. “Thanks for taking care of me,” she said softly.

Hardin nodded, his eyes gleaming in the firelight. “We’re in this together, Snake.”

“You know, I don’t really hate you,” she said suddenly.

Hardin raised an eyebrow. “Well, I don’t hate you either, but you can be annoying sometimes,” he replied with a hint of amusement.

Snake smiled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “So, how do you see me?” she asked, her voice curious.

Hardin shrugged. “Just a girl who acts like she’s tough but is weak inside.”

Snake scoffed, her face flushing with indignation. “What? I am rough, both in and out!”

Hardin chuckled. “Just sleep, we have to find our way out tomorrow.”

Snake nodded, her head falling onto his shoulder. Hardin didn’t push her away, instead, he admired her facial features, his gaze tracing the contours of her face.

As they sat there in silence, Snake’s breathing slowed, and she drifted off to sleep. Hardin watched her, his expression softening, his eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and concern. He knew that beneath her tough exterior, Snake was vulnerable, and he wondered what had shaped her into the person she was today.

Rica stormed into her brother’s room, a look of concern etched on her face. “You know about this, right?” she asked, her voice firm.

Rico looked up from his phone, a hint of confusion on his face. “What are you talking about?”

Rica’s eyes narrowed. “Did you tell him anything? Why is he here?”

Rico shrugged, a nonchalant expression on his face. “He’s here to save you, Rica. You should be happy about that.”

Rica’s face twisted in frustration. “How can I be happy when Dad will kill him?” she snapped, her voice rising.

Rico’s expression turned serious, and he set his phone aside. “Rica, calm down. Let’s talk about this.”

But Rica was beyond reason. She paced back and forth in the room, her mind racing with worst-case scenarios. “This is all your fault, Rico. If you hadn’t told him, he wouldn’t be here now.”

Rico stood up, his eyes flashing with anger. “When did you start caring about him? I thought you hated him?” He asked.

“I can’t believe you right now” she said angrily and left.

The clan was still reeling from the absence of their members, and the silence was palpable. Alessandro was lying on his bed, his mind racing with thoughts of Virus and the voicenote he had left. He couldn’t believe that Virus had kept this secret from him.

“That jerk,” Alessandro muttered to himself, shaking his head in disbelief. “He should have at least told me.”

Just then, Harmony walked into the room, her presence a calm and soothing balm to Alessandro’s frazzled nerves. But as she approached him, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of fear. Alessandro was ruthless, and she knew that he wouldn’t hesitate to lash out if he was angry.

“Sir?” she said hesitantly, not daring to look at his cold face.

Alessandro looked up at her, his eyes narrowing. “What is it?” he growled.

Harmony swallowed hard, trying to find her voice. “I-I was wondering if there was anything I could do to help you, sir,” she stammered.

Alessandro raised an eyebrow, his expression softening slightly. “You want to help me?” he repeated.

Harmony nodded, trying to hide her fear. “Y-yes, sir. I know you’re upset, and I want to help.”

Alessandro sighed, his body tense with stress. “I need someone to calm me down,” he said finally. “Can you do that?”

Harmony nodded eagerly, relieved that she could help. “Y-yes, sir. I can try.”

“My mum always did this for me and my brother when we are still young” she said and sit on the bed. She push his head on her lap.

“Please relax sir” she pleaded gently.

Alessandro nodded, his eyes closing as Harmony started to caress his hair. She was afraid of him, but she knew that she had to help him. And as she touched him, she felt a sense of calm wash over her too. Maybe, just maybe, she could help him find peace. She keep caressing him until he pushed her closer, his arm wrapping around her waist.

“Continue” he said calmly and close his eyes, she smiled gently and continue doing it.
