BIG BAD WOLF : CHAPTER 181 – 190

BY Rosy Johnson.

{VENGEANCE/LOVE}

“It was your father, he paid us to do everything we did back then. I was only but a hitman…..” The Kīllêr pleaded, unable to hold back.

It was a matter of life and dêâth

Jax’s world stopped spinning, his breath caught in his throat as the words echoed through his mind like a deafening thunderclap.

He stumbled backwards, letting go of the kîllèr’s collar as if his hands had been scalded.

“No,” he choked out, his voice hoarse with disbelief.

“No, you’re lying. My father…he would never…. he couldn’t have…” He stammered, trying to forced himself not to believe what he heard.

His father loved his mother dearly, he used to say she was the best thing that has ever happened to him.

He adored her so much that he (Jax) wanted nothing but to treat his mate just the way his father treated his mother with so much loved and concern.

A cruel sneer twisting on the man’s features, he stepped forward, a cruel glint in his eye.

“Your father paid us to do the deed, He didn’t anyone to know it was him,” the Kīllêr continued, his voice like sandpaper.

“So he paid us handsomely to take care of her and make it look like you coursed it all since you were already a disobedient child,” he added lastly.

The room started to spin, the kîllèr’s words battering Jax like a hurricane, his mind swirling with confusion and denial.

His own father, the man he had looked up to all his life, the man he had always trusted and respected even though he changed immediately after his mother’s dêâth

how could he have done such a thing?

In a flash of fury, Jax’s eyes blazed with crimson light, his body contorting into a bestial form as his fingernails elongated into razor-sharp claws.

In a single, brutal swipe, he tore the kîllèr’s throat open, the arterial spray drenching his face and hands in a savage baptism of blood.

Trista let out a horrified gasp from where she’s watching, her eyes wide as saucers as she watched in stunned shock as Jax let out a deafening, guttural roar of rage, the force of it shaking the very foundations nearby.

Like a feral creature possessed, Jax tore through the forest with the speed and ferocity of a storm, branches and leaves whipping against his fur-covered form as he blurred through the darkness.

His rage fueled his every step, every panting breath a reminder of the pain and betrayal he had suffered.

He could taste blood in his mouth, his tongue running along his fangs as he imagined the moment he would come face-to-face with his father, with Mr. Black, the man who had orchestrated his mother’s demise.

“Jaxon!!” Trista’s voice echoed through the dense foliage like a desperate prayer, but it was as if he was beyond hearing her.

His mind was a tempestuous maelstrom of anger and anguish, all of it pointed squarely at the monster who had betrayed him.

His own father!

Jax pushed himself even harder, his animalistic legs churning through the underbrush as the thought of his mother’s dêâth burned in his mind like a branding iron.

“BLACK!!!” Jax’s roar reverberated through the compound, causing windows to shatter and the remaining pack members to flee in terror.

The towering gates, normally a symbol of the Packs strength, crumbled beneath Jax’s raging onslaught like a child’s plaything.

the clan members abandoned any semblance of decorum and fled in a frenzied stampede, like a herd of antelope spooked by a lion.

Their panic-stricken faces told the tale: Jax had come to seek vengeance, and none wanted to be in the crosshairs of his wrath.

He was the keeper and they all know what he could do in his calm state, let alone In raged.

Some tripped in their haste to escape, while others attempted to hide behind furniture or in dark corners, but Jax’s booming voice echoed through the compound, leaving no doubt as to who he sought.

“BLACK!!!”

Within moments, Jax was in the inner sanctum of the clan’s stronghold, his eyes scouring the shadows for his father’s unmistakable presence.

THE POWERS MANSION.

Isaac and Ava went to the Powers mansion so Ava could clear Jezebel’s memories of what happened between her and Trista.

She wasn’t getting any better and no matter how the doctor tried, she kept insisting that she saw Trista glowing.

They had to take the knowledge from her else she will truly go insane.

Ava and Finn was inside as Finn kept watch while Isaac came outside to answer his phone that was ringing.

they’d come in with the help of Jade who wants Isaac at all cost, it only took a few talk from Isaac to make her come running and taking them to her home.

he plucked it from his pocket and answered, oblivious to the figure that emerged from the shadows, her form haloed by the light of the moon.

As he murmured his greeting into the phone, he glanced up and his world froze, his breath catching in his throat.

There, before him, stood Ruby, the very embodiment of the desires he’d thought long buried.

As Isaac’s gaze remained transfixed on Ruby, his heart thundered against his chest like a tribal drum, its beating echoing in his ears.

A flutter of emotions, long forgotten and thought to be buried, bubbled to the surface, filling his chest with a warmth that was at once familiar and strange.

“Mine! Mine!” His animal spirit yelled, pushing forward.

“Isaac? Isaac?” A distant voice called through the phone, interrupting the spellbinding moment.

The realization of the unanswered call returned Isaac to reality, his eyes darting away from Ruby’s as he stammered an apology and struggled to find the words.

“Sorry,”

Yet, even as his attention returned to the phone call, his body craved Ruby’s presence, yearning to close the distance and let himself drown in the nostalgia of a love that once was.

Ruby rushed towards him, her arms wrapping around his torso in a tight embrace.

he froze momentarily, his eyes widening in surprise. But then, almost as if compelled by a force beyond his control, he found himself returning the hug, his arms encircling her slender frame as he pulled her closer.

“Isaac, I’m so sorry,” she whispered against his chest.

A rush of memories washed over him, a heady cocktail of love and longing. He could smell the familiar scent of her shampoo, his hands tracing the curves of her back just the way he loved it.

She raised her head from his chest to look at him, when she did she found him staring down at her.

Lifting her hand to his cheek, she caressed it gently, cycling her hand around his and pulled it down.

Tears streamed down Ruby’s face as she pressed her lips against Isaac’s, her emotions pouring out like a floodgate.

She wanted it, she has always wanted him and try to fight her feelings and each time she does, it always hurts.

The joy of knowing she was finally his was overwhelming.

The kiss was a tender amalgamation of sorrow and joy, the past and the present intertwined in a way that could only be described as bittersweet.

She disengage from her kiss With their hearts locked together, Isaac’s hand gently brushed away a stray tear from Ruby’s cheek, their eyes meeting in a silent conversation that spoke volumes of love and loss.

“Mate,” he called huskily.

BLACK PACK

Father and son, separated by a lifetime of secrets and lies, stood mere feet apart.

The air between them charged with the full weight of Jax’s seething rage.

Mr. Black, face etched with a mixture of surprise and fear, he took a tentative step backwards, instinctively placing the desk between himself and the snarling bèâst his son had become.

Jax’s muscles rippling with barely contained power, he growled low in his throat, a feral warning of the reckoning that was about to unfold.

“so it was you? It was you who kîllêd my mother and put the blame on me?” Jax asked through gritted teeth.

His head already shifted to a man’s head.

Mr. Black’s smirk twisted into a cruel, self-satisfied grin, his arrogance undiminished even in the face of his son’s feral transformation.

“Now that you know the truth,” he hissed, his voice dripping with venom.

“Do you think it will change anything? You are nothing but an ungrateful pup who should have been put down years ago,” he bellowed, less concerned.

Jax’s eyes blazed with fury, his nostrils flaring as his muscles tensed, every fiber of his being coiled like a spring.

“Your mother was a mistake,” Mr. Black snarled, his voice rising in volume to match his son’s rage.

“She was above me, despite being the Alpha, hogging all the power and control…!”

“This is her father’s clan!” Jax roared, his nostrils flaring like the bellows of an inferno.

“And so fúçking what?!” Mr. Black bellowed, the tendons and veins at the back of his neck pulsating with fury.

“Do you think I married her to be in her shadow?!” Mr. Black yelled, his face contorting in a mask of wrathful injustice.

“I am the Alpha! I should be respected, worshipped like a Gód…but what did she do?” His voice crescendoed into a deafening shout, his fists clenching and unclenching in time with his rage.

“YOU! You were her little mistake, her ‘little boy’ that everyone adored. How dare she outshine me?! How DARE she?!!”

“You!” Jax snarled, barely holding himself.

“Yes, ME!” Mr. Black shouted, his voice quivering with fury.

“I married her for power, and she was supposed to stay in the shadows, but instead, she became the ‘great sunny glow’, overshadowing me. How DARE she?!”

Jax’s claws raked through the air, the sound of flesh rending the room’s eerie soundtrack.

He struck with the speed of a striking serpent, latching onto….
