“Dad!!!” Francesca’s voice screamed, and he smiled.
“Sweetheart” he said.

“Cesca!!” Jemima gasped, and Maxwell laughed.
“Baby I’ll call you later” Jemima suddenly cut the call, and he laughed harder.
“She’s so straightforward” he said, and Cypress rushed in.
“It’s my bathroom for crying out loud! I could have been nked!” He shouted.
“There’s nothing hidden under the sun, I saw everything when you were young anyways” she replied and showed him her phone, she’s currently on his IG, and his eyes widened when he saw the digits. 40M!!!!
“Fk!!!!”
“Thanks to the kss Livestream last night, and when you gifted granny” she smiled.
“I never made a Livestream about the gift” he replied confusedly.
“I did” Warren replied, coming in.
“Gosh, what’d I do without you two” he hugged them at once.
“I swear it I’ll cry the day you’ll clock 50” Warren said.
“I love you both” Maxwell hugged them tighter, feeling so lucky to be surrounded with sweet people.

An hour later, Maxwell was already ready to go for work after breakfast.
He came out of the house with his car keys and was about to open his car …
“Limited Mell?” A voice called behind, and he looked back only for his face to be met with an hand kerchief.
He slumped on his car immediately, and he was bundled into his car.
The masked person got in with him and drove out of the house.

TWENTY MINUTES LATER**
Maxwell woke to meet himself beside a river, and his eyes widened as he spranged up.
“What the h’ll” he muttered as he shifted back,, but when he saw a familiar figure coming, he stopped.
His eyes widened more and more when the face became clearer, and when it finally cleared completely…
“Chairman” he muttered shockingly as he walked to him.
He was walking like he’s coming to crush him, and Maxwell got scared a bit till he got to him and did the unexpected.
He went on his knees in front of him, and his eyes widened.
“Chairman” he muttered again.
“Sorry I did this, I saw the Livestream and I just couldn’t sit still, seems my daughter is really insanely in love with you” he said, and Maxwell’s eyes calmed immediately.
“My daughter got hurt once by an unfortunate boy, and that’s the reason for my constant paranoia about her relationships.
I’ve never seen her get madly serious with a man like this since Darrell broke her, and that’s why I need to say this.
I don’t know what you charmed her with, but please… don’t hurt Jemima” he begged, and Maxwell squatted in front of him.
“Mr. Andrade-Kings…
“Please don’t hurt my daughter, her mother Eunice made me promise to always keep her daughter safe before her death, she’s all Eunice left for me, and she once tried to commit suicide after what Darrel did…” Chairman said in tears, shocking Maxwell more.
“So please… Anytime you get tired of my daughter, just return her to me without hurting her, I’m pleading with you Maxwell Milla, please…” He cried, and Maxwell hugged him slowly.
“Get tired of her? There’s no way I’ll get tired of the air I breathe, she became a large part of me already, and I’ll cherish her for the rest of my life” he said.
