CHAPTER 17
Jemima’s car is still on the road with Maxwell driving smoothly. Jemima is sitting at the back, smiling each time she remembers what just happened at the mansion.
She kept up the smile till it turned into a loud laughter when she couldn’t take it anymore.
“Fk! Tonight could pass as my best night” she grinned, covering her face with her palms as she laughed again.
Maxwell remained mute, but she suddenly leaned forward…
“Hey you, i never knew you’re this smart, I think we’re gonna get along” she said.
“Why? Cos I poured water on your stepmom?” He replied.
“Why else? I love people who give no room for trash” she replied, and he smiled.
“How are you gonna pay me?” He asked.
“First let’s take care of your wet shirt, stop the car” she replied, and he obeyed immediately.
Surprisingly, they’re in front of a store.
“Go in and get yourself new something to wear” she said, giving her her debit card.
“How many debit cards do you have?” He asked.
“Ten? Twenty?” She giggled, and he smiled again.
“So… you’re jovial like this”
“I’m jovial to those who deserve it” she replied.
He looked at the card and sighed. “I can buy myself new clothes, I hate favours from the rich” he said
“Really? Then go get it Mr. Limited edition” she said, and he smiled before leaving the car.
He crossed the road and entered the store. Jemima rested back on her seat and got her phone.
She went to The Diamonds blog and searched for the video of Lina’s bullying at the party, but she couldn’t find it.
Lina must have deleted it so she wouldn’t see it cos she’s also an admin, she handles the blog with her.
“That stupid girl, so she lied to me about her red cheek” she muttered and left the blog to go to her iG page.
She’s got the highest number of followers in Paris, no doubt.
65Million followers isn’t a joke, though she’s mostly followed by fellow rich company men and women in the world, the rest are upcoming celebs who’re her wannabees.
She only makes live streams in her office once a week, then the rest are whenever she goes to the beach or club on weekends or decide to upload her luxurious properties like golden jewelries and expensive designers at home on her feed.
Her net worth is 450M, also the highest too, so it’s worth the envy and hate she receives from Tatiana who’s nowhere near her.
“It takes talent to be as perfect as I am, no one is more perfect” she smiled, deciding to snap a picture since she’s so happy right now.
She pulled five cutely different facial expressions and snapped the five selfies which she uploaded on IG immediately with the caption_HAPPIEST NIGHT THIS WEEK, STAY HAPPY.
Within one minute, she got more than 10M likes, and she smiled as she began reading comments.

Her head was swelling as she read millions of comments, but then she suddenly felt chilly, and her lids moved before she suddenly looked up.
She looked around the car, but no one is in sight.
“Why does it feel like someone is watching me?” She muttered.
