CHAPTER 118

A RIVER**

Warren was crying so loud as he stood on a pointed rock beside the river, his eyes so red.

Molly was his first love, the first girl he’d ever try dating with, how could she do this to her when she’s all he’s got after Maxwell?

And not with any other person but Lincoln? The guy who bvllied him like fk in highschool.

He cried more as he squatted on his spot, rubbing his teary eyes.

“Molly” she sniffed, looking up at the water again.

He stood and slowly dipped his leg into the water, but he quickly removed it cos of the coldness.

“Gawd! It’s too cold!”

He sniffed and dipped his leg again.

“It’s too cold!! I’ll die if I jump in!!! Warren you can’t die like this!

You still haven’t got a lead role in any movie!!! I can’t die like this!!!” He cried and left the rock.

He was about rushing far away from the river when he came face to face with Sloane who came there to have her alone time.

“Miss Sloane?” He sniffed, and she blinked.

“Why didn’t you jump?”

“I was scared!!!” He squatted and started crying again.

Sloane smiled and squatted with him, patting his back.

“It’s not the end of the world”

7PM, A STEAKHOUSE**

Maxwell’s car halted in the parking lot, and he came down, then he went to the other side of the car to open the door.

He helped Francesca out, bringing out her teddy too.

He got it for her during their shopping. They’ve been on the outing since 5, visiting multiple malls and stores , they went to the Starbucks already, and they visited the park too where he rode carousel with her.

This seems to be their last stop since he’s gonna be meeting Jemima tonight too.

She held her teddy bear with an hand, and they held hands as they went in together.

“No one’s in here!” She said surprisingly.

“I rented it” he replied.

“You rented the Starbucks and park too, dad you’re so classy!” She said proudly, and he laughed as they settled down in front of each other.

“Should we have simple steak?” He asked.

“Yes, you’ll cut it for me and feed me anyways” she replied, placing her teddy on the table.

“Of course” He smiled, snapping his fingers to call for the server who appeared immediately.

“So good to have you here Limited Mell, I’m a big fan and I can’t wait for the tournament in two weeks” he said.
