CHAPTER 119
“Thanks, I appreciate the support” Maxwell smiled.
“And your daughter is adorable” he continued.
“Aww!” Francesca blushed.
“Silly, give us just steak please, then wine for me and fruit juice for her” Maxwell said.
“Sure sir” the server bowed and left.
“Why am I drinking juice?” Francesca pouted.
“You’re too young for wine, young lady” he replied, and they both laughed out.
“Dad, should I tell you a secret?” She suddenly asked.
“What?” He leaned closer.
“Mum’s birthday is the day after tomorrow!” She said.
“That’s not a surprise” he giggled.
“You knew?” She blinked shockingly.
“How would I not know my girlfriend’s birthday?” He replied.
“Aww! I’m sure she doesn’t even know she’s turning 29, she forgets her birthday yearly, so you should surprise her” she said.
“Don’t worry, I have plans” he winked.
“I trust you dad” she winked back, and they laughed again.
The server appeared with their meal, and they settled down for real.
Maxwell cut the meat into several pieces, and he began feeding her.
“Hmmn! Dad is the best! It’s delicious!” She nodded.
“Pictures?” Maxwell brought out his phone.
“Yes!” She quickly stood on her chair, and Maxwell went to her, kssing her on the cheek as he clicked their pictures.
“I have a lotta gists for my friends on Monday!” Francesca gushed as he gave her personal shots.
Maxwell kssed her hair, and she hugged him tightly.
“You’ll continue being my dad forever, right?”
“Forever” he replied, kssing her hair again.

AN HOUR LATER, JEMIMA’S MANSION**
Francesca was already sleeping in Maxwell’s arms when he carried her out of the car.
He handed her to Dolores who was waiting in front of the mansion, and she smiled.
“Thanks for making mother and daughter happy at once, please don’t stop being their happiness, it means a lot” she said.
“Sure, I gat them” he replied, and she smiled again.
“Goodnight”
“Goodnight Dolores” he replied and watched her carry Francesca in before driving away in his car.
The plan was to meet Jemima at the park beside the cafe, their favorite spot, so he went there straight.
He met her waiting already, moving from one foot to the other on her heels.
She was watching the main road, but he knowingly came through a shortcut.
He smiled when he saw her waiting already, and he began tiptoeing to her, intending to cover her eyes from behind, but he wasn’t lucky.
She suddenly turned back, and her eyes widened when she saw him.
“Fk” he laughed.
