CHAPTER 98
CAFE~ 10:30PM
The main dish, appetizer and dessert are all ready, looking ostentatious on the medium sized dinning table as Maxwell placed a bottle of wine between everything.
“Now let’s feed my IG” Jemima said, getting her phone to start snapping the varieties.
“Hmmn!! The tiramisu looks yummier than the last one” she said as she snapped.
“Of course, I made this” Maxwell replied behind her, and she laughed as she snapped the next food.
“No boyfriend like Max! Absolutely!” She bragged to herself, and Maxwell began blushing as she turned on the camera for live videos with the dishes.
“Hey fams! How does it feel to have your boyfriend cook for you on your first date?
I bet no one has experienced it but here I am! Having the time of my life!” She gushed.
“Here, look at the dishes, it all looks tasty, right? Which one should I eat first?… hmmn!! The pasta especially…
She wasn’t even watching her steps as she made the video, she concentrated on just the dishes.
Maxwell was staring at her from the other side, feeling so lucky that at last, she’s just his.
He smiled when she smiled, and he bit his lip, remembering the night they met when she had sent him to get pads, and his crazy self got potatoes and even soiled her car with ice cream
It was the craziest meeting ever, but here they are, so in love after seeing each other wholly.
He smiled again, still staring at his woman as she made her videos, giggling and chuckling at the camera
He has never seen her so happy.
She was about to stumble on the table edge when he quickly rushed to hold her back, and her chest pressed on his own.
The phone fell from her to the ground, and she smiled when their eyes met.
“You’re too clumsy, you could have fell” he whispered, brushing her hair away from her face.
“I’ll always be clumsy and careless, cos you’ll always be there to catch me anyways” she said, and he chuckled, kssing her hair, then her eyes and nose.
“I’m full just looking at you, you’re a full course meal too” he whispered, and she shone her bright teeth immediately, holding his face to pepper it with ksses.
“Tonight is my best night in years, I love you so much cupcake” she whispered.
“I love you more, baby” he replied, and they kssed slowly.
It was at that moment she remembered the fallen phone, and her eyes widened.
She broke the kss and picked it, her eyes widened again.
It has been capturing everything live, their ro.mantic words and ksses, and her comments section is burning already, blazing with sweet comments!
She quickly ended the live video and dropped the phone.
“It captured us!” She said.
“Even better” he replied.
“Really?” She smiled.
“Yeah, the whole Paris will know that Jemima is mine and mine alone” he replied, and she immediately hugged him.
“Let’s eat before it gets cold” he said, hugging her back.
She nodded and broke the hug, then they sat beside each other and picked their cutleries at a time too.
“Tasty!” They chorused after tasting the appetizers at once.
“Hmm! Delicious!” They chorused again after eating the pasta at once too.
“Ohh…sweet!” They said at once after having a bite from the dessert.
They clinked their glasses and drank wine too before facing each other. “Game over!” They chorused and laughed cutely.
“Come here” Maxwell pulled her to his laps and dipped an hand into her hair behind, reeling her closer.
“You’re a bad guy” Jemima whispered, resting her forehead on his own.
“You don’t like it?” He whispered back, brushing his nose on hers.
“No, i love baddies” she replied, and he smiled $eductively before kssing her lips deeply.
