CHAPTER 48
Blue took a breath, her eyes troubled.
“Ryan, that guy you saw in front of our house that day, he’s my ex,” she said slowly, her voice wavering.
“He’s with someone who was supposed to be my friend…”
“The girl he came with?” Richard asked, his brow furrowing.
Blue nodded.
“Her name is Regina. We used to be close, but we fell out. Now, Ryan and Regina are together. They got together right after Ryan and I broke up.”
Richard’s confusion showed.
“So, they always liked each other?”
Blue nodded.
“I guess. If Ryan knows I’m still single, he’ll probably try to make me feel bad. And considering you’re kinda cute…”
“Kinda?!” Richard interrupted, a big frown on his face.
“I’m cute!” He pointed to himself, and Blue laughed.
“Okay, fine, you’re cute. I need you to make him see that I can move on without him,” Blue said, now meeting his gaze.
Surprisingly there was there in her eyes, does it hurt that bad? He has never experienced heartbreak making him wonder what does that have experience it must feel.
Richard took out a handkerchief and gently wiped a tear from Blue’s cheek. She laughed, surprised by the gesture.
“Damn, I didn’t realize I was doing that again,” she said with a chuckle.
Richard just stared, taken aback. He’d thought Blue was just using him, but now he wasn’t so sure. He had his own plans, but he was also drawn into her situation.
“What about your friend, Cookie?” He changed the subject abruptly.
Blue raised an eyebrow.
“What about her?”
“She seems tough. Are you tough, too, or is it just her?” Richard asked
Blue laughed softly.
“It’s hard to keep up with Cookie sometimes. So, don’t try.” She took a large bite of her burger, savoring the taste.
That wasn’t what he wanted to hear, seems she’s playing good by blocking all his defenses.
“I guess I will try another way, more pressure but first make her your friend,” he thought silently.
COOKIE : CHAPTERS 41 – 50
In the bustling locker room, the air was thick with the scent of sweat and the rustling of cheerleading uniforms.
Veronica stood at her locker, unbuttoning her cheerleading dress and swapping it for her practice outfit. Her movements were swift, focused.
The door creaked open, and Regina stepped in. Veronica glanced up, her face scrunching into a look of annoyance.
“What do you want?” Veronica asked, her tone sharp.
Regina approached with a smirk.
“I saw you staring at Cookie earlier.”
Veronica’s eyes narrowed.
“And so?”
“Just relax,” Regina said, raising a hand to calm her.
“I don’t even like Cookie.” she shrugged.
Relief washed over Veronica.
“Good. I’m glad you’re on my side.” Veronica said, calming herself.
Regina nodded.
“So, how about we meet up after school? We can plan how to deal with Cookie for good.”
Veronica’s face brightened with a scheming smile.
“Sounds perfect. Let’s make sure she gets what’s coming to her.”
They exchanged knowing glances, their plan forming as they prepared to leave the locker room, united in their mission.

I think the new development is cool but how will the 300 get to you, speaking of those who do’nt have.
