Natasha’s Pov:
I laid heavily on the leaves and smiled.
This was the best day of my life.
I has so much fun for the first time in many years I guess.
I watched Jay make a glass of drink for me.
You know sometimes I wonder why Jayden has a lot of things.
Like he knew we were going to be stucked in the beach.
I thought of my dear friend Kayla.
I know am beginning to love the kind of life am living now .
I mean being alone with such a fun guy like Jayden.
“Want some?” Jay’s voice smacked me into consciousness and I nodded.
He handed the glass to me and I sipped.
We smiled at each other.
Actually we are becoming very close friends.
Since we do everything together but that’s except bathing.
We’ve been here for the past four days already.

Kayla’s Pov:
I was busy at the office with a lot of files on my desk when Melissa walked in.
“Hi girl….” She laughed
She’s such a chatterbox and a gossip monger as well.
I rolled my eyes.
“Hey… What’s up?” I said with my eyes still focused on the computer set in front of me.
“It’s lunch time! Would you like to grab a bite with me?” She chuckled
💭 I just know she has some gist for me 💭 I thought.
“I would have love to but am really very busy” I said as she sighed.
“Too bad” She groaned
“Yeah right!” I added
“Uhmm… So tell me where did Natasha really go?” She asked and I scoffed.
I knew she must have something to ask or gossip about.
“Like I told the management, she’s unwell and I also know you heard that she’s on leave” I said
“Well I don’t think she looked sick the last time I saw her” She chipped in.
“Is being sick written on the forehead?” I cut in.
She only gulped nervously.
I guess she doesn’t know what else to say.
“Yeah… Yeah… Whatever! I just know there’s something fishy” She doubted
“Then fish it out” I snorted
“And we can’t even go see her” She said
“Yes and that’s because she travelled to be with her parents” I said sharply.
“Fine!” She groaned as she angrily jerked up from the chair and walked away.
I only smiled.
Am very prepared for those gossipers.

Jayden’s Pov:
Natasha and I carried the basket of fishes smiling and chatting.
“I didn’t know you can do some fishing” She laughed
“Yeah… My dad thought me because one of the family’s guest house was on an island” I said
“Wow! This is the first time you have told me about your family” She said as I spread some leaves on the ground.
My face countenance changed.
“I know!” I said calmly
“Can you tell me more about them? Like if you had older siblings and…” She said as she paused on noticing how quiet I became.
“Sorry” She said
“It’s nothing! I just don’t wanna talk about them” I said as she nodded.
I watched her spread the fishes on the sun.
We did that together happily.
And we continued talking.

We sat in the log cabin eating when suddenly the rain started.
it was very heavy though.
“The fishes?” Natasha shouted as I rushed out of the room.
“Jay you can’t get wet you might fall sick” She tried stopping me.
“No Tasha! The fishes” I said as I rushed out in the rain packing the fishes.
In no time, I was drenched with water
After packing the fishes, I walked into the house.
I was already feeling cold.
“Here” Natasha handed a towel to me and I smiled as I cleaned my body.
