Adriana raised her head and everyone gasped loudly with wide eyes.

Her lips are bleeding!

Adriana touched her lips and saw her blood,nobody moved or tried to help,Bluey was beginning to feel bad but she stood her ground and said nothing either as they watched Adriana get up shamefully and glare back at her.

“That was fair I guess” Kaine muttered icely and walked out,Bluey didn’t wait,she immediately followed him like a puppy who needs to be saved that very moment.

Adriana stormed out as well after that.

“Bian,what the fuck are you doing in Risky’s arms?” Lupa asked and everyone bursts into laughter because it was more funny how Risky was carrying him as well,like a new wedded bride,their eyes expressionless.

“You can drop me now” Bian told Risky.

“Okay ” Risky said and dropped him.

“But wait,what just happened? Isn’t that Bluey and Adriana?” Alex asked again to be sure.

“Yeah,I saw it too. I didn’t know she started her training again” Sasha said and all eyes fell on her.

“Training? What training?” Tyson asked.

“She might become a mobster” Knife answered.

“Whoa,that will be amazing. She’s got some skills,the boss is such a great trainer” Kael muttered.

“Seriously? So everyone likes her?” Bian raised his brows.

“Nobody want to enter the boss’s black book I guess” Risky chuckled.

“Why not? She’s pretty and somehow fierce” Tyson said.

“Yeah,I wish she can start joining us at the dinning hall” Alex said.

“I can invite her” Bian grinned.

“You?” Kael raised his brows.

“They are quite close” Risky said,climbing on Bian’s back.

“Yeah,we are close” Bian smiled and started walking with Risky on his back.

“Why are you walking so easily without complaining?” Risky asked.

“You have no weight dude” Bian replied and Risky frowned.

“You don’t mean it”

“I’m fucking serious” Bian scoffed.

“Hey you two! Aren’t we here for training? Are we in college or what?!” Alex called after them and Bian turned.

“Obviously they should still be in college,but life happened” Sasha said and everyone laughed.

Bian dropped Risky and they joined others.

They faced each other in twos.

Bian and Risky already teamed together but Alex came over and pushed Bian away.

“You two can’t be together or you will turn it into play,go to Tyson” He said to Bian.

“Whoa,you act even more than a brother,are you a daddy?” Bian asked.

“Old enough to be one” Alex said.

“Anyhow” Bian rolled his eyes and pulled Risky’s hair on his way to Tyson.

“Hey!” Risky yelled and tried running after him.

“Don’t move” Alex grabbed his ear.

“Ahh!” He screamed.

Bian laughed.

“Alright! Get serious now!” Two of their trainers entered and they became silent.

“Today,we are making use of some weapons”

Instantly the combat knives was distributed to all of them.

“You can fight,but make sure you don’t hurt your partner,it’s just practice,so be careful” They instructed.

“Okay!” The gangs chorused.

Sasha and Kael,Knife and Gelato,Bian and Tyson,Alex and Risky,but Lupa got no partner.

“Where’s the last person?” The trainers asked.

The door opened and Billie came in.

“Sorry” She said and walked over to Lupa,then she collected her own knife.

The training began.

ADRIANA’A ROOM*

Kat lean against the wall as she watched Adriana cleaning up her bloody lips on her own after rejecting her offer to help,she sighed.

“Are you okay? I still don’t understand who would dare do this to you” Kat said.

“We fought…..”

“You fought with who? Axe? Kaine? Coz I know they are the only ones who can handle you at least here,but why would you fight with either of them to get blood on your lips?” Kat asked.

“You can go Kat,I want to be alone” Adriana muttered.

“Are you sure you are going to be okay alone?”

“Yeah,leave”

“Call me when you need something” Kat said and walked out of the room.

Adriana threw the wipes in her hand and smashed it against the wall angrily,what the heck just happened to her? She got defeated by Bluey?

“No….that didn’t happen,it was a mistake,a mistake,that didn’t happen”

She roughed her hair and sank her face into the bed,what would everyone say?

“This isn’t right,what happened to me? Why did I loose guard for her? Why!” She cried and started punching the bed.

“Why are you following me? You should go take your bath and eat,aren’t you tired?” Kaine asked as they entered his suite.

“Let’s eat together,I’m so happy right now. I’m going to cook something delicious for us” Bluey grinned and Kaine turned to face him.

“You did well..but don’t try to fight her when I’m not there” Kaine said.

“I understand” Bluey smiled.

“She went easy on you…because she believed she was stronger,that was why you won. Adriana isn’t weak,she’s a strong type” Kaine said and Bluey frowned.

“You’re hyping her” She mumbled.

“I’m not hyping her,it’s the truth…”

“I will become stronger than her,,you should compliment only me,not her” Bluey said jealously.

Kaine raised his brows and crossed his arms.

“Why should I do that?” He asked.

“Because I don’t like it” She pouted.

“Adriana is pretty” Kaine said. .

“I’m prettier!” Bluey snapped.

“I don’t think so,,she doesn’t sleep with chicken in her hand” Kaine said.

“That was because….because….gosh” She bit her lips.

Kaine shook his head and went into the room.

Bluey walked to the kitchen as well,thinking of what to prepare for them.

She was already done when Kaine came in again,He already took his bath and now dressed in another outfit.

“Are you going out?”

“Power room,there’s a meeting in two minutes” Kaine replied.

“I made some toast,there’s no groceries here so…..”

“You’re acting like a chef” Kaine muttered,picking one of the French toast.

“Of course I am,I used to cook for everyone back at the orphanage house,they all loved my food because I’m a good one. And also I enjoy cooking too” Bluey said.

“Hmm” Kaine nodded,with the toast melting in his mouth.

“How’s it?” She asked with a smile.

“Perfect” Kaine said.

“I love watching you eat,here,eat one more” She raised the plate.

“Why?” Kaine asked.

“I love the way your lips pout cutely when you eat,,,like a baby” Bluey muttered.

Kaine took just a bite from the second one and dropped it.

“I’m okay now” He said.

Bluey poured him a glass of banana milk.

“What’s this? I’ve never drank….”

“Try it” She cut in.

Kaine sipped a little and his eyes widened.

“I knew you would love it,I sent Lady Clara to get it” She grinned.

“Hey,am I your husband? You’re doing way too much” Kaine said.

“Am I your wife? You are doing too much also” Bluey scoffed.

“What did I do?” Kaine asked.

“What have I done too?” Bluey asked.

“Cooking and speaking so softly like we are married…..”

“Young master,you gave me your card,bought me clothes,shoes,accessories,sleep with me,watch movie with me,you bought me chicken,allow me wear your shirts….does that mean we are married as well?” Bluey counted with her fingers and Kaine was speechless.

“You won…again” He said and Bluey flaunt her hair proudly.

“Fuck that hair smells,go get a wash,yuck” Kaine made a disgust face and left.

“What?” Bluey’s eyes widened.

She immediately inhaled her hair to smell it but it wasn’t smelling,or is it her nose? Or that was his revenge?

Bluey was curious,she continue smelling her hair,but nothing.

Just then,she heard the door open again and went out of the kitchen.

“Fang” She smiled.

“Morning,I’m here to get the boss’s ipad” Fang said and turned toward the room.

“Wait!” She ran after him and he raised his brows.

“My hair,does it smell?”

Fang moved closer and inhaled twice then moved away.

“It smells like shampoo” he said.

“Exactly! I washed my hair just last night in his bathroom! Why would he tell me my hair smells?” Bluey scoffed.

Fang chuckled and left her for the room,he came out a minute after with the pad,then went out.

Bluey returned to the kitchen and ate the remaining toasts before finding her way out of the suite to her own room.

8PM, FIELD*

Kael was running in the field,all alone,the moon was bright up there,even as he ran,he wasn’t sweating,the night was beginning to get cold again. His breaths visible in the air as he pants continuously until someone joined him in the run.

He turned his head and saw Alex which made him frown and increased his pace,but Alex caught up with him again.

He frowned harder and ran faster,but still Alex caught up,that was how they ended up running as if it was a competition.

Alex is a better runner anyway,Kael collapsed along the way when he couldn’t meet up with Alex anymore.

“You’re monster” He spat as he lay flatly on the ground.

Alex chuckled and came back,then fell beside him. Both of them staring at the moon up.

“You’ve been quiet these days” Alex broke the silence.

“Why? Does it affect you?” Kael asked.

“You’re not talking to your crush?” Alex asked and Kael looked at him with a raise brow.

“Isn’t she your crush too?” He asked.

“She likes you more” Alex muttered.

“That’s what you think…I heard it somewhere that it’s the most loved ones who are always slow to notice,so you think she likes me better?” Kael asked.

“It’s obvious” Alex said.

Kael chuckled.

“Let’s say it’s true…so what about you?” He asked.

“We decided to stay as friends” Alex replied and Kael looked at him.

“For real?”

“Yeah,so you should try to talk to her and get closer,that’s all” Alex said.

There was silence again.

“She’s not ready” Kael muttered.

“Huh?” Alex looked at him.

“That was what she told me,,I guess it’s because of the rules here,if she lose focus,you know that’s the end,so she’s not ready for what I want. I will just wait for her until that time,maybe we could be friends as well..for now” He said.

Alex nodded.

“Have you ever thought of life outside here?” He asked.

“No” Kael muttered.

“What about you?”

“No,I love what we do,aside the fact that we can die anytime,but who cares? Isn’t that what we got trained for?” Alex scoffed and Kael chuckled.

“You’re right” He muttered.

“We have just four hours left for the mission” Kael said after checking the time.

“Three hours,we are leaving by eleven” Alex said.

“That’s true” Kael mumbled.

2AM, GOVERNOR’S HOUSE*

Alex and Kael were the first to jump into the compound,they exchanged meaningful glances and Kael walked away,to check up on the guards. He returned just a minute later.

“I saw about five,they’ve got guns,but they don’t look dangerous” Kael said.

Alex spoke into their communication bugs and soon,Bian and Risky jumped in,followed by Sasha as well,all of them carrying bags,inside the bags are bigger bags to pack the money in.

“What about Knife and Tyson?” Kael asked.

“Watching the way” Risky replies.

“The bosses?”

“They got in through another way” Sasha replied and immediately they divided into two and passed different routes to enter the big mansion.

Risky,Sasha and Kael followed one way, Alex and Bian went the other way.

Sasha suddenly stopped walking when she saw one guard sitting on the floor.

“Is he sleeping?” Risky asked with a sign and Sasha nodded.

They walked pass him and found their way into the house,they met Alex and Bian at the center and they went straight upstairs,the whole house was even more quiet than they had imagined.

It’s obvious that the guards already lose their guards because of the governor’s absence.

Axe and Kaine were already in front of the safe room,it’s an automatic lock so they needed codes and thumb scanning to enter.

“I’m here” Risky announced from the back and they turned.

“Quick” Kaine said.

Alex and Bian weren’t there,they stopped somewhere at the end of the passageway in order to watch out for the guards.

Risky immediately took off his bag and brought out his laptop then he sat down on the floor sharply.

His eyes locked onto the safe room’s door, He sat cross-legged on the Floor and opened the laptop,His fingers started dancing on the keyboards as he pressed continuously what only he understands.

“Come on, baby,” he whispered.

The laptop’s screen flickered with lines of code as Risky worked his magic while everyone waited patiently.

He exploited a vulnerability in the system’s firmware, gaining access to the security grid. Then the biometric scanners and motion detectors began to malfunction, blinded by his cleverly crafted code.

But the safe room’s encryption proved a tougher nut to crack.

Everyone’s eyes landed on the door which almost opened but then locked again.

“What happened?” Axe questioned.

Risky’s eyes narrowed and returned to the laptop, he worked to bypass the robust security measures. Sweat dripped from his brow as he typed furiously.

Suddenly, the laptop beeped, signaling a breakthrough. Risky’s grin spread wide as he gained access to the safe room’s mainframe.

The safe room’s door slid open with a soft hiss.

“Thank God” Sasha muttered.

Axe and Kaine entered first and they followed.

“Whoa” Risky chuckled as they saw the giant money arrangement at the end of the large room,a protective windshield guarding around it.

“It’s money” Sasha chuckled and ran towards it.

“No time to play,start packing them” Kaine said,calling them back to order.

“It’s going to be a long night,I wish those guards sleep off for real” Kael said.

“Are there no maids in the house?” Axe questioned.

“No one,just the guards” Sasha shook her head.

2AM*

“Fuck! I’m tired,do we still have much left?” Bian asked Sasha as they both arranged the bags in the van.

“No,last ones upstairs” She replied.

“So you’re saying those bastards slept off? What type of guards are they?” Tyson asked.

“Our charms worked,I’m not ready for exchange of breaths” Knife shook her head.

“Let’s go” Sasha grabbed Bian’s hand and they left.

The moment they entered back into the mansion,they bumped into two guards with guns in their hands,immediately they aimed their guns at the two of them.

“Who are you?” The first one asked.

Sasha and Bian took their guns expertly and aimed back at them.

The guards raised their hands up,but one of them blew into the emergency fluent around his neck and that was it.

Instantly about ten guards surrounded Sasha and Bian.

“Fuck it” Sasha cursed.

Ten guns aimed at them,while they got stuck in their middle.

A minute later,they heard gunshots,five bullets at once,five of the guards dropped dead on the floor.

Sasha and Bian looked up and saw Kaine with gun in his hand,he shot two more and they died at the spot, then he jumped down from upstairs,the remaining five guards turned to him with their guns,shooting at him,he hid behind a pillar.

Three went after him while the other two faced Bian and Sasha back,the heavy sounds of their fists and kicks were heard and soon the two guards were on the floor,half dead.

Sasha and Bian looked up and saw the other three dead on the floor,they started walking over to Kaine,that moment he turned and saw the last guard,his gun pointing directly at Bian.

Kaine didn’t think twice,he flew over the couch on the way and just before he shot the gun,Kaine grabbed Bian and tossed him around,pushing him off and Bian landed on the floor,the bullet hit Kaine’s back and Sasha gasped.

Kaine ignored the bullet and shot at the guard,three times in the head.

He turned back to Bian whose eyes were still widened in terror.

“Are you okay?” Kaine asked.

“Am I okay?! It was you who got shot!” Bian shouted at him and Sasha blinked twice in shock and confusion.

“I’m fine” Kaine muttered and looked at Sasha who instantly stopped staring.

“What are you waiting for? Get the last bags with others and let’s go,,,you too Bian” Kaine ordered and went out through the door.

“That’s deep” Sasha said as they saw his back covered in blood.

She turned to Bian and sharply saw a tear dropped from his eyes which he immediately wiped off and smiled.

“Let’s go,it’s getting late” He said and led the way.

‘What’s going on?’ Sasha thought inwardly,she was greatly confused.

4:00AM, REDHANDS EMPIRE, KAINE’S SUITE*

Fang came out and Bian moved closer to him.

“He said I shouldn’t let you in” Fang muttered.

“Why?! I just want to check up on him for fuck sake….”

“He said you should leave” Fang said.

“How’s he? Did he get treated?” Bian asked worriedly.

“Diego is inside already,you know he will be fine” Fang said.

“How am I supposed to know that? He’s not a robot for hell sake,He’s human,why believe he will be fine every fucking time? I hate it” Bian snapped and walked away.

Inside,Kaine winced painfully as Diego removed the bullet from his back,he was sweating and his veins visible. The bullet really hit him deeply so it was quite hard to remove.

Diego stopped for a second,to be sure if he was still breathing,because it’s not normal for him not to scream as he did that,but he could only hear tiny grunts from Kaine till he finished.

He disinfected the wound and took care of it before dressing it up.

“All done boss” Diego said.

“You can go” Kaine said and poured himself a glass of wine which he gulped down at once.

He wasn’t even thinking about his own pain,all he was grateful for was the fact that Bian wasn’t hurt,he might just go insane if that ever happen.

BIAN’S ROOM*

Risky was trying to sleep on the bed but he couldn’t,not when Bian kept pacing around the room while groaning and sighing every second.

Risky threw the duvet off himself.

“You can go to your room,don’t talk to me,I’m not in the mood” Bian said before he could even say a word.

“Now what exactly happened?” Risky asked.

Bian ignored him and took his phone,he dialed Bluey’s number and went into the bathroom.

Bluey answered after a short while,she sounded so sleepy.

“What?!” Bluey’s eyes widened on her bed when Bian told her what happened.

“Can you check on him and tell me how he’s doing?” Bian requested.

“Yes,,I will talk to you later” Bluey hung up immediately,she jumped out of bed and ran out of bed like that,not bothering to even wear shoes.

She was panting when she reached Kaine’s suite but Fang stopped her immediately.

“I need to go in” She said.

“I’m sorry but…the boss said I shouldn’t let anyone in until he says so” Fang said.

“Tell him it’s Bluey,he got hurt right? I need to see him” Bluey said.

“I’m sorry…..”

“Hey! Open the door!!” Bluey yelled angrily.

Fang sighed and slowly input the code,then the door opened.

“I will take the blame if he gets mad” Bluey told him and went in.

She entered the bedroom and saw Kaine just entering the room as well,their eyes locked.

“Why are you here? You shouldn’t be here,I want to be alone” Kaine said.

Bluey ignored him and went to his back,her eyes widened.

“You got hurt,again” she said.

“It’s nothing” Kaine mumbled.

“What do you mean by it’s nothing,why do you always hide your pains?! Why! You’re human too right? It’s not weakness if you say it when you’re not fine! You should stop dying inwardly……”

“It’s none of your business!! You don’t even know anything about me,who do you think you are to tell me what to do and how to show my emotions and all that?! I don’t care if I get hurt,I don’t fucking care how much I bleed, as long as I get to protect…….” Kaine paused.

“Protect who?”

“It’s none of your business” Kaine said.

“I’m just worried,can’t I at least be worried about you…..”

“I don’t need your fucking pity okay?! Stop acting like we are that close to share personal shits with each other,should I remind you again what you are to me?! Should I!!” Kaine shouted.

“You don’t have to remind me,I know okay?! I’m your sex doll,sex slave,whatever you think it is,you’re my master,I didn’t forget that,I don’t want to give myself false hope,I was just worried about you! I’m sorry if it was too much,I’m sorry for passing my boundary again,I won’t do it again!!” Bluey shouted in tears and ran out of the room.

She was already in the living room and about opening the door when she felt Kaine grabbed her.

“Leave me alone!! I’m sorry I keep forgetting my place,so just let me go please” she cried,struggling out of his grip.

Kaine hugged her from the back,his hands wrapped around her tightly so she couldn’t leave.

Bluey stopped struggling after a while and just kept crying.

“I’m sorry” Kaine’s voice came as a whisper and Bluey froze.

Wait…she heard wrongly right?

“I’m sorry,,I’m sorry” Kaine repeated twice again and her breath almost seized.

“Please don’t stop getting worried about me,don’t stop,,aside someone,you’re the only one who gets worried and cry because me….it’s just,,new….I’m sorry” Kaine said.

It was followed by a sniff,,not Bluey’s own.

“Honestly,,it hurts,,the bullet,,hurts alot,it hurts” Kaine stuttered.

His cold tears dropped on Bluey’s neck and she broke into tears as well.

“It hurts” He repeated,more tears dropped from his eyes.
