A WEEK LATER, KAINE’S MANSION*

“Are you serious right now Bian? Can’t you help? I’m the only one packing” Risky groaned.

On their floor are two new suitcases,one Blue and the second black. Blue for Bian while black is for Risky.

Their clothes,mostly new are scattered on the floor as well while Risky was arranging them one after the other.

“I’m tired” Bian groaned on the bed.

“For real? We didn’t even buy a lot,we can just do that when we get there,no shoes,just few clothes and you’re tired?” Risky scoffed.

“Just do it and stop complaining,I was the one who stayed up all night searching for the school brother talked about” Bian said.

“That word sounds strange to me,,school” Risky groaned.

“My dream” Bian close his eyes and moaned.

“Stop” Risky laughed.

Their flight to the New York City in the US is tomorrow,Kaine must have planned everything before hand because it’s more faster than they imagined.

Just few days ago,Kaine discharged all the gangs in the empire and announced to them about his departure,the empire was totally silent after that,sadness and confusion.

Don Bruno,Marco,Axe and Rossa were all buried,Sunny left the empire as well and only Sapphire remained them,she’s yet to plan out what’s next for her.

Other gang members too,since it came so sudden,they are free to stay as long as they want until they make their decision,but the trending news is that,Kaine is no longer a boss in red hands empire,he’s no longer a member of mafia,even though he still remain the Kaine everyone knows and respect,but now is time to leave.

Bian’s phone started ringing and Risky looked at him.

“You’ve been ignoring that call,it’s the third time the phone’s ringing” Risky said with concern.

“It’s nothing” Bian muttered.

“Liar,the rest of the gangs have been calling and you never ignored their calls” Risky said and took Bian’s phone.

“It has no name…” He looked at Bian.

“It’s Bluey” Bian groaned.

“Oh” Risky dropped the phone.

“You’re not going to answer?” He asked as he returned to arranging of their clothes.

“I have nothing to say to her,not like I’m going to see her again anyway” Bian muttered.

“You’re right,we might not meet again. But what if the girls in New York are not hot?” Risky asked and Bian frowned.

“Are you kidding me right now?! This is all you are thinking about?!” Bian shouted.

“What else am I supposed to be thinking of? You?” Risky grinned.

“Idiot” Bian scoffed and Risky laughed out loudly.

“How about we eat first? I’m tired already” Risky muttered and Bian jumped out of bed.

“I was about saying that” He said.

Risky blew him a Kiss.

“Keep that for New York girls,fucker” Bian snapped.

“You’re going to have your first sex the moment we get there,NY girls are wild,don’t even think of keeping it in your pant” Risky said.

“Shut up because I tear your tongue” Bian threatened.

“Sorry but….”

Bian jumped on his back and pulled his hair.

“Hey!! Are you a kid?! Ouch,that hurts!” Risky screamed.

“I told you to keep quiet” Bian scoffed and got down from his back.

“Are you seriously thinking of keeping your virginity…..”

“Oh gosh,what is this” Bian groaned and went out.

Risky followed him.

“I asked a question” he kept on taunting Bian on their way downstairs.

“Oh it’s quite late,I didn’t notice it’s past seven already,we need to hurry up and do our things before brother gets back” Bian said.

“The boss would….oh…I mean Uncle Kaine would get pissed if we aren’t ready before he comes back” Risky said and Bian chuckled.

“You will soon get used to it” He muttered and Risky smiled.

“Dinner is ready” The maids announced.

“Thank you” Bian smiled.

REDHANDS EMPIRE, BLUEY’S ROOM*

Bluey bit her lower lip after calling Bian again without any response,she sighed and dropped her phone gently on the bed.

The whole week has been hectic and depressing for her,she feels bad every second of the day,she can’t even eat without thinking,she lost so much,ever since Kaine drove her out of his suite,she never gets to see him again.

Not even for once no matter how much she tries,it was suddenly as if he became invisible to her only,she feels so lonely. Not a single person among tve mobsters want to have anything to do with her,she feels like she deserves it anyway,they are just being loyal to Kaine.

But Bluey miss everything so much,it was as if the whole empire became a grave yard,she hardly hear noises and sounds like before,she doesn’t leave her room,not when different glares follows her everytime she does.

She regret it deeply,she regret ever going into queen mother’s suite that night,she saw Bian getting beat up right in front of her and she couldn’t do anything,she was lied to about Kaine and she believed it,she thought Esther was in danger but it was all lies.

Queen mother is her birth mother,she’s the child of Don Bruno,Axe and Sapphire are her step siblings.

Her head was crumbling every single day,she felt like dying,but she couldn’t bring herself to end her life,not when Kaine saved her from getting killed.

Thinking about how much she owes Kaine and how she shamelessly believe her would hurt Esther makes her scream,Kaine doesn’t even know who Esther is..right?

“Your whole life is a mess Bluey” She weep bitterly.

She miss everything,she miss the old empire,she missed the feelings,she miss her moments with the gang,she miss being friends with Bian and Risky,she miss Fang’s niceness,she miss those moments.

But most especially she missed Kaine,she miss how much he protects her,his touch,his voice,his warmth,she miss eating with him,she miss their trainings together, she miss how he always act cute for her only,she miss cooking for him,she miss his possessive,she miss the sex, she miss those happy moments,ALOT.

‘Why scoffing? You took mine too!’

Those moments rang in her head and she cried more louder.

The door opened and Clara entered,she wasn’t surprised to see Bluey in tears again.

Clara sighed and closed the door.

“Bluey” She called.

“Clara” Bluey called brokenly.

Clara sat down on the bed and pulled her into a hug.

“I destroyed everything….myself” Bluey cried.

“But the deed has been done,you might fall sick if you keep on crying this way,you’ve lost so much weight” Clara said.

“There’s no going back this time…he hates me…so much”

“I can’t bear it anymore…I can’t” she shook her head.

“Then,what are you planning to do now?” Clara asked.

“I will leave….I will go back to where I came from” Bluey sniffs and broke the hug.

She started wiping her tears.

“Sounds like a good idea,but do you think those people are still the same as you left?” Clara asked and Bluey looked at her.

“Are you sure they still want you?” She asked further.

“Aunt Esther is not someone like that” Bluey shook her head.

“How gullible can you be Bluey,people change. But I will always support you no matter what Bluey,you will get through this,it’s okay” Clara said as more tears rolled down Bluey’s eyes.

“I will start packing my stuffs” She muttered and Clara stood up.

“Make sure you see me before leaving,a proper goodbye would be enough for me” she said and Bluey nodded.

“I will do that” She said and watched Clara leave her room.

She opened her closet and her emotions turned bad again,everything reminds her of Kaine,everything.

She opened her suitcase and started arranging the clothes in.

He dropped a gown on a separate side.

“He hates short dress on me” She mumbled and wiped her tears again.

She took all her clothes,leaving the mostly short ones,then another bag,she packed her shoes,jewelries,and other stuffs Kaine got her.

Fang was walking over to his room when suddenly someone bumped into him and he immediately caught the feminine body.

“Oh” He muttered when he saw Sapphire.

“Hey” Sapphire smiled.

But Fang could see the sadness behind that smile,of course she lost her family,even though she act strong,still her family is her family.

“Are you okay?” Fang asked.

“How’s Kaine?” Sapphire asked and Fang shook his head.

“He won’t come here anymore” he muttered.

“But he will be fine at least,that’s enough for me” She muttered.

“Are you going to continue staying here?” She asked.

“No,I will be leaving soon as well,what about you?” Fang asked and Sapphire was quiet.

“It feels so empty” She muttered and tears rolled out of her eyes.

“I wish everything can come back to how they were,but this time without Kaine and Bian getting hurt,I just miss everything” She cried.

Fang hugged her.

“It’s okay” He consoled and pat her back.

“If you leave,then I will be all alone” She muttered tearfully.

“You should make your plans as well,you can’t stay here forever” Fang said and broke the hug.

He wiped her tears and sighed.

“Can’t you just stay a little bit longer? Please” Sapphire pleaded,looking straight into his eyes.

Fang said nothing.

“Have you eaten dinner?” He asked and she shook her head.

“Let’s eat together then” Fang said and she smiled.

“Thanks” she muttered and they walked away together.

8PM, MAGIC LAND*

“Whoa!! So beautiful!” Adriana screamed the moment they entered through the gate of the amazement park.

“You seriously insisted on coming here? Of all places??” Kaine asked,staring at Adriana who was already running in front.

“What do you mean of all places? Aren’t we here to have fun?” She faced him.

“This place is childish” Kaine muttered.

“Let’s get childish tonight…..before you leave” Adriana said,trying to hide her sad voice.

Kaine simply nodded and Adriana held his wrist.

They paid for few rides and others before they were allowed in fully.

“Rollercoaster first,it seems we are the last riders for today!” Adriana clapped.

Kaine smiled and followed her.

They entered the rollercoaster and soon it started rolling.

“Oh my gosh!!!!!!” Adriana screamed out happily.

“It’s my first time!!” She shouted.

Kaine only stared at her till the ride came to an end.

“Let’s go for the next” Adriana said and made you walk away but Kaine grabbed her hand and pulled her back to sit down.

“You’ve been avoiding my gazes,you said you would be fine but I’m seeing the opposite” Kaine said.

Adriana swallowed,and soon the tears she’s been keeping started flowing freely.

“You rejected me….again” She said and Kaine looked at her.

“You still don’t want me,even after everything??”

“Not just you Riana” Kaine grunted.

“You don’t want to fall in love? Why?”

“Because……my heart isn’t ready for that” Kaine muttered.

“I don’t want you to lie to you and enter a relationship I won’t be able to keep…..I don’t know,but my heart doesn’t seem to beat for anyone….anymore. I can’t help it,,I just want to watch my brother live the type of life he deserves,I don’t care about myself at all,I just want him to live a good life….”

“Then what about you!! You deserve a good life as well!” Adriana cried.

“I will figure that out when I leave,,I do want a good life,a life without weapons and blood,a life where I won’t have humans blood in her hands,,I want to be a normal person with those emotions you feel too,but….my heart doesn’t race in excitement,the feelings of love isn’t there,it’s only filled with anger and hatred” Kaine said and Adriana hugged him,crying hard.

“You will find someone better than me,someone who will treat you like a queen,not someone like me” He muttered.

“I’m going to miss you,but I promise to make you proud,I’m going to live my best life,no matter what” Adriana said and broke the hug.

Kaine cupped her cheek and used his thumb to wipe her tears.

“I will miss you too….Mirabel” He said and kissed her forehead.

Adriana hugged him again,more tighter.

“I will be waiting” She muttered.

NEXT DAY, ST MARY’S ORPHANAGE HOME*

“Thank you young lady” The taxi driver said after Bluey paid him,he helped her suitcases out of the car before driving off.

Bluey turned to the orphanage building and stared at it,just the same way she left it,no single difference.

She managed to drag her cases to the gate which was locked,so she had to knock on the gate countless times before someone opened it.

It was Esther.

“Aunty!” Bluey called excitedly and hugged her.

“What are you doing here?” Esther’s voice came out coldly and Bluey broke the hug immediately.

“What’s with the loads?” Esther asked,looking at her bags.

“I….I’m back here” Bluey muttered.

“Why?” Esther asked.

Bluey shook her head.

“I can take my time to explain things to you later,but let’s go in first….”

“You don’t have a place here anymore Bluey,don’t you get?!” Esther snapped and Bluey’s eyes widened.

“Aunt Esther…”

“Oh please cut me a slack of that,,you seriously think you can come back here after everything your family did?! Your brother killed someone!! We got threatened because of the money your mom gave us to take care of you which suddenly turned into loan! Hey,don’t you understand anything at all? You were the oldest girl here and you still couldn’t grab that something was wrong? The only reason we were keeping you here and taking care of you was because it was all paid for,but does it worth more than life?!!” Esther shouted and Bluey gulped.

“You have no place here anymore Bluey,,your family have done just enough,we will be leaving this place soon,we are going somewhere else where our life won’t depend on your family,you can come stay here alone after we leave,but for now,you can’t come in”

Before Bluey could talk,Esther closed the gate on her face.

Bluey’s throat dried,she could hardly breathe,tears weren’t coming either,she was drained both emotionally and physically.

That was the moment she knew she messed up…for real.

The reason why…she took that decision is nothing but emptiness.

The orphanage was her only hope,the money with her won’t be enough to even survive a full month in the city.

“Bluey!” She suddenly heard someone call her name and turned,she was shocked to see Clara.

“Lady Clara” She called.

“Thank goodness I found you” Clara immediately paid the taxi and ran over to Bluey.

“Why…what are you doing here? You followed me” Bluey said emotionally.

“I found this while cleaning Kaine’s suite” Clara said and handed over to her a small bag which Bluey took at once,she opened it and brought out the Debit Card Kaine gave her,she must have dropped it in his suite,there’s a piece of paper there which contains the pin password to the account.

Bluey gulped as she continue staring at the card with every thoughts running in her head until she suddenly looked at Clara.

“You cleaned his suite? Why?”

“Oh,you don’t know?” Clara asked.

“Know what?”

“He’s leaving,I’m sure they are at the airport already as we talk Bluey” Clara said and Bluey’s eyes widened.

“Where…where is he going?” She stuttered.

“I have no idea Bluey…..”

“Which airport are you talking about?! He can’t leave!” She screamed in tears.

“I overheard Fang talking about Coast Airport” Clara replied and Bluey ran off immediately,fortunately the airport is close to where she is.

She got a taxi and left Clara with her bags.

COAST AIRPORT*

They already checked in fully,only waiting for their boarding pass,just ten minutes behind their flight take off.

They had to wait in the waiting lounge together with other passengers.

“I think I need to use the restroom” Bian said and Kaine looked at him through his cap where his eyes could hardly be seen.

“Then hurry up” He said and Bian got up.

Risky got up too.

“I will go with you….”

“Sit down” Kaine muttered calmly without looking at him,Risky sat down instantly and Bian left alone.

Bluey rushed out of the taxi,she doesn’t even know where first to go,her strength was deceiving her,she felt tired but she definitely might lose her mind if she doesn’t get to talk to Kaine.

She kept running until suddenly she saw Bian who was just returning back to the lounge.

“Bian!!” She screamed and ran to him,she grabbed his arm and Bian gave her a confused look.

“Bian….” She called again softly,their eyes locked.

Bian snapped her hand off himself.

“Bian,,I know you hate me now…..I can’t…..”

🎙 ANNOUNCEMENT PASSENGERS,THIS IS A FINAL BOARDING CALL FOR UNITED AIRLINES FLIGHT AA123 FROM ITALY TO NEW YORK. THE FLIGHT IS DEPARTING IN APPROXIMATELY 5 MINUTES. PLEASE PROCEED TO GATE 17 IMMEDIATELY,I REPEAT……..

“No” Bluey shook her head in tears.

“Let’s not meet again” Bian told her and walked away.

“No!!” Bluey screamed and ran after him,but before passing through,some securities held her back from following Bian.

She saw Kaine as Bian joined them.

“Kaine!!! Kaine!!!” She called in loud screams but Kaine did not hear her.

“You took so long” Kaine said and Bian said nothing.

Kaine heard a scream from somewhere and somehow he turned again but couldn’t see anything.

“Let’s go” He muttered and ruffled Bian’s hair like a child.
