Masked Monster made long fast strides to him, and Madden fell on his butt before he could even get to him.
He squatted in front of Madden and grabbed him harshly by the throat, holding him in place before shoving an injection into his neck.
Madden went still, his eyes drooping and glossy as the silence deepened.
“Do you know what this injection does?” The Masked Monster’s voice came.
That voice… It’s a woman’s voice.
“It’ll crush your bones and your heart… it’ll crush your soul and mind too. You’ll lose your sanity bit by bit. Do you know the most interesting part? You’ll start getting it everyday from now on” she whispered.
Madden passed out.
BACK TO THE PRESENT*
“Where is Michael?” Madden asked the question for the third time.
“Bring me the goods” Erik replied stubbornly, and Madden left the room.
He stalked out of the house like a stage-5 hurricane, meeting Malik in front of it.
“I… Actually… I captured the video of the compound guards who tried to strip Micheal earlier. They were thirty” Malik said, pointing his phone at Madden.
Madden took the phone and watched the video emotionlessly for two minutes, capturing their faces in his head before dropping the phone.
He matched the phone as he walked away, and the screen got condemned.
“Shit! The phone is new” Malik muttered.

AN HOUR LATER*
The clan fell into a deep chaos like it has never been since it’s establishment.
Mobsters could be seen running around, and guards are slamming into each other.
It’s as if the snow is aware of the upcoming war too cos it’s falling aggressively.
There are thirty graves in the clan burial ground, all dug by the mobsters cos Madden told them to.
Madden stood in the middle of the burial ground, smoking jaguar calmly.
The calmness is too much that it’s scary.
The thirty compound guards who abused Adeline earlier have all been captured, and they’re currently tied up on the ground like luggages.
Everyone of them is begging for their lives.
…Cos any minute from now, they’ll be getting buried ALIVE.

CLINIC*
Igor got carried here by Andrei, and though he got treated by his nurses, his face is still a mess.
He’s leaning back on the pillow, and Andrei is beside him.
“You shouldn’t have done that to Angelika” he said.
“What are you gonna do now? Beat me? She acted annoying ” Igor replied, unable to speak well.
“She’s just a child, Igor! She’s a child, and now she’s unconscious! You think you and The Pakhan can bring Madden to his knees by doing all of these? That guy is not human!” Andrei shouted, and Igor kicked him.
Andrei fell on the second bed, then Igor stood and kicked him again.
“Your shit has to stop, else I’ll kill you myself one of these days. Watch as Madden releases the goods. Arresting Micheal means clipping his wings and he’d want his wings back” Igor said, but then a guard rushed in.
“There’s a big problem!” He reported.
“What are you talking about?” Igor glared.
“Death… He’s about to bury thirty compound guards alive” the guard replied, and Igor nearly fainted.
“What!”

BURIAL GROUND*
There’s no hint of joke in the air.
It’s infused with darkness, madness, and insanity.
Ten guards have already been buried alive, and the eleventh one is currently getting buried.
“Please please please!!! Kimberly gave the orders and we were only following! Please!!!!!!!!!”
No ear was ready to listen to his pleadings.
Loud and Jinx led the group of mobsters who are pouring soil on their heads.
Madden is still in the middle of the place, still calm and gentle, still smoking as he watched the impromptu burial.
May their damn souls rest in imperfect pieces.
He didn’t move from his spot till the twentieth guard was buried alive.
The twenty first guard was just about to get buried when Erik came rushing.
His eyes were wide as he counted the number of graves which were already getting cemented.
Igor came running too, and his eyes almost fell from their sockets at the shock that hit him.
“Stop!!!!!!!!!!!!” Erik shouted in horror, his lips shaking as Madden faced him.
“Where is…
“He’s in the underground water dungeon” Erik interrupted, horror filling his eyes too.
