“And?” Adelines heart hammered.
“The condition was that after the birth of the baby, your mother would give him the child as repayment” Odessa said.
“What!” Adeline gasped shockingly.
“Yeah. Erik gave her the money for your father’s heart transplant, and Erik survived the surgery, but the child died after your mother gave birth” Odessa continued.
“Which means… I had a sister after all, and I didn’t even get to meet her” Adeline said tearfully, and Odessa nodded.
“Your parents had plans to tell you about it during that bloody birthday, but then they got killed” She said.
Adeline couldn’t even help with the cabbages anymore.
She became too weak, so she just silently left the kitchen, walking to the living room to sit.
Her parents lost the second child, and that only means they’d have to repay Erik with money.
Maybe they couldn’t afford the money… Is that why Erik sent Corey to kill them?
No… That can’t be.
Her parents had 36 million worth of investments, so that should be more than enough to pay Erik’s debt, so what actually happened?

“Adeline” Odessa came to her, and she stood.
“I need to go to the family house… I’ll be right back” she said.
“Take my car” Odessa offered her the keys, and she rushed out of the house.

Jinx’s head is on Loud’s shoulder, and she’s deeply asleep.
Neither of them slept throughout the night, they kept taking turns to dial Micheal’s line but it never went through.
Loud’s eyes is wide open though, staring at the wide TV at the front.
No one else is in the cinema with them since everyone left after the movie ending credits finished playing last night.
He looked down at Jinx’s face and sighed, trying Micheal’s line again.
It’s still switched off.
He was about to pocket his phone when movements from behind him alerted him.
Even from her sleep, Jinx got suspicious, so her eyes flew open.
At once, they grabbed their guns, stood and turned around only to see Malik at one of the backseats.
“Easy… Easy” he said, raising his hands up.
“What the fûck are you doing here?” Jinx demanded, jumping over the chair to go to him.
“I told you I don’t fancy your unannounced appearances asshole!” Loud snapped, walking to him too.
“I’ve been here since last night, just mixed with the crowd” he replied.
“Here to do what?” Loud demanded.
“Watch movies obviously!” Malik spat.
“Stop trying to fit into Death’s good book! It’s never gonna happen!” Jinx shouted.
“That’s not the case. This ain’t my first time here! My disabled sister always came here to see movies with me before she lost her legs, and I got a message from home that she fell from her wheelchair and died last week. I only came here to reminisce about her ok?” Malik replied.
That seemed to silence the two cos they didn’t say anything.
“Well… sorry about that” Jinx said.
“Are you guys like…dating? Why are you here together?” Malik asked.
“Dating? Nope. We came here to kill time” Jinx replied.
“Why?” Malik asked further.
“Death got kidnapped” Loud replied, and Malik gave them a blank look before bursting into laughter.
They remained serious, so his laughter stopped.
“Wait…what!” His eyes widened.
