BARYBINO, MOSCOW*
The house is a small one, located in the middle of a thick brown forest.
There are so six male guards patrolling the perimeter, and everyone of them has the cross tattoo on the right side of their necks.
Inside the house, there’s no single male guard.
All the guards are females, and they have the tattoo on their necks too, their long guns intact in their hands as they strolled around the walls.
A taller lady came out of a hidden door, dressed in a combat gear like the rest of the females.
Looks like she’s the head of the guards, and apart from her neck tattoo, Oana was boldly tattooed on her right upper arm.
“Is boss not here yet?” She asked the others.
“No. She’ll take longer than planned cos there’s a delay” one of them replied.
“Is she serious right now? We’ve been holding him for hours it’s dangerous he’s not a regular hostage!” Oana replied.
“Calm down he’s tied with the strongest ropes in Russia… there’s no way he can break free” another one said, and Oana scoffed, walking out.
Inside the room she came out from, there’s Madden, tied to an iron chair with knotted ropes all-over his body.
His head is down like he’s still unconscious, and his phone is on the ground, smashed and destroyed completely.
There are four more female guards inside with him, walking around, and the walls of the room is electric, each screen displaying everything happening in the surrounding forest.
Madden groaned out, then he threw his head back, his hair slicking back. There’s no single cut on his face, but there’s soot from the smoke bombs.
He opened his eyes and looked ahead, taking a good look around him before looking at himself.
When he saw the rope and knots he was tied with, he chuckled, almost bursting into laughter.
Nah…this is disrespectful, considering the fact that he invented the knot, and the rope is the exact one tied to his basement ceiling.
Is he a fuçking joke to them?
Well…he can’t wait for their boss too.
What they don’t know is that they didn’t kidnap him…he allowed it.
And smashing his phone is just stupid cos the tracker might be destroyed, but his last location would still be on Adeline’s phone.
Adeline should better be safe.

Adeline came out of Odessa’s car right in front of the family house, and images of her parents were the first thing that appeared in her head.
There’s no difference between now and when she visited it after leaving jail three months ago.
She entered the house, and though it’s empty cos Kimberly sold all the properties, but their memories are still intact.
She could imagine her young self learning the making of perfume from her dad and promising him to open a perfume company in the future.
She could imagine standing behind her mum in the kitchen, learning cooking.
She almost broke into tears, but then she saw a faded paper lying below the floorboards.
She lifted the board and took the paper.
It’s faded, but the letter inside is still intact.
Corey’s letter…the one he inserted into the cake.
~It’s shameful to say this in person, and that’s why I’m choosing to say it this way. I’m an assassin, specifically sent to kill your parents, but I’d never do that, which is why I’m writing this.
Please run away from Colorado. Ion know what businesses your parents have with Erik Orlov, but run with your parents… I LOVE YOU SO MUCH…ADE.
“You finally read that” the unexpected voice said behind her, and she turned swiftly to see Corey coming in by the door.
“Corey? What the fûck are you doing here in Colorado? Did you follow me from Russia?” She smirked.
“Yes” he nodded.
“What else do you want? Lie some more?” She scoffed.
“I swear, Ade. None of the things I told you were lies except my age. You’re actually one year older than me” he replied.
“You’re 24?” She replied.
“Yeah, Everything else is true, including my feelings” he said, coming closer again.
