Adeline made to shoot again, but someone threw a smoke bomb to the center, and smoke covered the place, stinging her eyes.

“If you escape! I’ll hunt you down and have your head!!” She shouted, stubbornly entering the smokes.

She bumped into a car and fell, her ankle bleeding on the ground.

She tried to stand, but the pains already multiplied, so it was impossible.

“Hmmm!!!” She hissed, sitting still till the smokes cleared, but as expected, Corey and Gianna are gone.

Someone took them!

Adeline shut her eyes, resting her back on the car as sweat covered her temples.

“Addie?” Madden jumped into the park through the vent, and her eyes opened slowly.

“Madden” she replied from her spot, recognizing his voice.

He reached her immediately, squatting beside her.

He didn’t even look surprised to see her in female fit. He just took her bleeding leg and removed the shoe on that feet.

He removed hanky from his pocket and tied it around the wound.

“Fûck! … that hurt like a bîtch” she mumbled, and he lifted her up, into his arms.

“Corey was here, and then another girl who has the face of the girl you killed at their forest captivity. I wounded them both on the chest, but then someone threw a smoke bomb and…took them” she said, hanging her weak arms on his neck.

“Just shut the fûck, and shut your eyes” he sternly replied, and she smiled lightly.

“When are you gonna start talking to me softly? Hmm?” She whispered, closing her eyes.

Her face went to his chest, and she inhaled him, feeling better as he took her out of the park through the only door available.

While exiting, Malik and Loud came in, and Malik nearly fainted when he saw female version Adeline in Madden’s arms.

He held his chest and blinked severally till they went out of sight.

“My eyes aren’t defective… right?” He muttered in shock.

“Death doesn’t have to tell you before you know you have to keep quiet about it” Loud said like a warning.

“Wait… you knew about it?” Malik faced him, and Loud nodded.

“Jinx, Poe, and Angelika too. Kimberly was her senior sis” he said.

“Oh no… look, i’m not what you should be worried about. She might be fine with just a few of us finding out, but once the whole of The Bratva finds out, then the whole of Russia will come for her!

No matter how good her skills her, she can’t beat those insane assassins and terminators! The fact that she’s not Russian will complicate things more! She’ll be killed unless she’s locked inside for the rest of her life!” Malik said with an alarming voice.

“That’s not your own headache to worry about. Death will handle it” Loud said.

“But…

“Suck it up” Loud interrupted, and Malik held his lips.

Loud rolled eyes before starting to walk to the door.

“You like her, right? I mean… I hate to admit but she’s damn beautiful” Malik suddenly said.

Loud didn’t reply before stepping out, so Malik shook his head before trying to follow too, but then he suddenly inhaled the smell of camphor.

He looked back and squinted, then he shrugged and left.
