Sergei was fast to cover himself with one of the mobsters who brought the ladder earlier.

The bullet rammed into the guy between his eyes, and he fell dead at Sergei’s feet as chills splashed around.

Terrified eyes fell on Madden as he lowered his hand, and Zoya quickly ran to cover Sergei.

“You better stay calm till the wedding, else… ” He smirked warningly before leaving the burial ground.

Jinx, Poe and Malik followed him out, and the voices of the others came back immediately.

* Death acts like his name every damn time.

* Didn’t you hear about the 30 buried guards, alive?

* Or what he did to the Thunder Tribe.

The murmurs made the place so noisy as Zoya slowly faced Sergei.

“He got worse… Madden got worse. He was ready to kill you” she muttered.

“You only have to stay calm till the wedding. He has nothing to use against me so he has no choice but to marry you before getting my vote” Sergei replied.

“I’m gonna kill that lady…what’s her name again… Adeline? I made some research last night, and I found out she still has an aunt called Odessa in Colorado.

I’m gonna kill the aunt, and another interesting part is that her sister might still be alive. I’ll find the sister and kill her too, that should be enough to break her” Zoya said cynically and left.

Sergei wordlessly followed her.

Erik’s body was buried without the presence of any family member, just The remaining Bratva members and some mobsters.

Within an hour, the burial was over.

Madden searched every corner and open space in the compound, but Adeline is nowhere to be found.

It’s like she disappeared, and he even checked the wardrobe at his manor maybe she entered like last time, but it was fruitless.

He dialled her line for the umpteenth time, but it’s off, and tracking is impossible without her phone on.

He was already feeling insanely hot in the brain as he went down the mountain again, down to the compound.

He checked the park, but all his cars are there.

If she went out, she definitely didn’t take his car.

No that’s wrong… She can’t drive any other car except his own, she can’t…

He suddenly remembered only three people left the burial ground with him.

Jinx, Loud and Malik.

Where the fûck is Loud?

His eyes reddened with the thought of whatever they might be doing together right now, and his brain almost melted to molten.

It felt hotter up there, then he got his phone and dialled Jinx.

“Here” Jinx picked quick.

“Find Micheal, right fuçking now!” He snapped impatiently.

“Sure!” Jinx replied, and he hung up, taking a deep breath though it’s restless.

Adeline has to bear this… It’s the hardest part of it but she has to.

That wedding with Zoya has to happen. Even if he has to divorce Zoya after the election.

He can’t become The Pakhan without Sergei’s votes, and he can’t protect her enough without it too.

And about Loud… Maybe it’s time to finally kill that fucker.

SERGEI’S MANSION*

Angelika and Aleksandr are currently in the living room, and though maids are surrounding them, that didn’t stop Aleksandr from performing his craft.

He’s holding Zoya’s small pistol, and he drew three small circles on the wall with marker.

He shifted back, then he shot twice, hitting two of the circles perfectly.

“Whoa!!” Angelika clapped behind him, and he walked to her, dropping the gun in her palm.

“Try hitting the third circle” he said.

Angelika nodded, wrapping her small hands on the gun.

She shifted back and Aleksandr balanced her fingers on the trigger for her, then she pulled it.

The shot made her body vibrate, and it scared so much that she started crying as the gun fell from her

She didn’t even shoot close to the circle at all.

“It’s scary!! I don’t like it!!” She teared up, and Aleksandr pulled her into a pet hug.

“Sorry…i thought…I thought it’d be useful for you” he coaxed, and her tears started stopping, but then the maids quickly lined up as the door pushed open.
