He removed her short wig, letting down her original golden hair.
He gave the hair a good wash too, and fingering her scalp as he did
She didn’t expect herself to sleep off in the tub cos of how good his hands are, but she actually slept off.
Madden finished up and carried her out of the bathroom too.
He dried her up, wore his sweatshirt for her and lay her to bed.
He covered her up and sat beside her, caressing her lips for a while before standing.
He turned on the bed lamp, then he left the room and turned off every single AC in the manor.
Afterwards, he went to the mini digital room at the underground chamber.
Immediately he entered, the girls stood. Poe and Trixie inclusive.
Trixie came to him. “Where’s my sister?” She asked in a mutter.
“She’s good” he gritted his jaws, and she nodded, stepping back.
“I think we might have gotten to Nazeera’s digital wall” Poe reported, bringing one of the systems to Madden.
She showed him the various lines depicting connectivity, and at the base of the log, he saw a very small plus sign.
“Right” he said grimly.
“Yes, but the thing it … The exact location is not on our servers. Whoever their guru is, then the person is good” Poe said.
“It’s solved then” Madden replied, bringing out a drive from his pocket.
He connected it to that same system, and the process loaded for a minute, then the location appeared below the plus sign.
“It’s here!” Poe gasped.
“Really?” Trixie came closer to check too, and the rest of the girls stood.
“It’s for real” Trixie chuckled.
“How did you do it?” Poe asked, facing Madden.
Madden tilted his head, smirking as he remembered Corey’s car at the death zone.
He actually planted a tracker in his car when he was talking to Adeline.
Not killing him over there was because he still had to serve a purpose, and the purpose is here.
Poe smiled widely, and Trixie stuck hands with her
“So they’re in Zhitnevo? How clever” Trixie clicked her tongue, staring at the screen.
“Hack their doors, breach the walls and smash their defenses. Y’all are busy till daybreak cos by tomorrow, I’m visiting them” Madden said.
“Yes Master!” The girls chorused, and everyone went back to their systems.
“I’ll do the supervision, Poe. You can leave and come back at dawn” Trixie said, and Poe looked at Madden.
Madden gave her a slight nod, and she smiled again before leaving.
She came out of the manor through the balcony door, then she went down the stairs, leaving the mountain.
She was still smiling as she walked through the forest.
Madden might not say it directly, but she’s sure she has earned his trust again, and that alone is enough for her.
She was about to enter the compound when a black bird collided into a teak tree, and the bird fell dead in front of her, the blood staining her boots.
“The hell” she muttered, jumping over it.
She entered the compound and branched at the trampoline.
Surprisingly, the rest are still there
Loud, Jinx, and Malik.
“You guys planning to drink till daybreak?” She joked, snatching Loud’s bottle.
She chugged it all, and Loud smiled.
“None of us are feeling sleepy yet” Malik replied, and Poe laughed, looking at his plastered head.
“You look happy. You should make up with Jinx” Loud said.
“Am I the one who needs to do it? She slapped me, dude” Poe replied, and Jinx cleared her throat.
Malik smiled…
“Stop smiling!” She snapped.
