Selesta choked…her throat moved abruptly.
A dead silence fell in the cathedral as most attention snapped to Madden at the bomb he just dropped.
Even Zoya got distracted from her kids for a moment, and her eyes went to Madden who’s so cold like he’s not the one who just spoke.
Sergei and Klara were looking too shellshocked, and their eyes wouldn’t stop widening as the waves slashed through them brutally.
Selesta mustered an awkward smile, but throughout her shocked phase, she was smart enough to not lose guards on the kids she’s using as shield.
“Stop trying to sway me!!! It won’t work!” She yelled, swiftly pressing her wrist on Aleksandr’s head.
There’s a digital wristwatch on that wrist, so a button was pressed in the process, and that instant, Green class 4 laser beams filled cathedral, activating from the ground and trapping everyone on their spots.
“You rotten bîtch!!!!” Maya screamed.
“Shit… Don’t move” Malik whispered to Jinx.
“Yeah, I know what it is” Jinx replied, staying still. One of the beams is on her neck, and one small move, her head will be on the ground.
Loud held his breaths, and Zoya literally stopped breathing.
Klara and Sergei were left totally speechless at the new development.
Madden took a step forward, but immediately his body touched one of the beams, it cut through his suit into his skin, and he began bleeding.
He looked up, and Selesta laughed out crookedly when their eyes met.
“I know you’re smart, Madden, but I’m brilliant too. Every new building in this compound is connected to me, including this cathedral. I know you built this cathedral cos of your plan to kill me inside, but let me burst your bubbles, I’m not dying today!!!” She yelled.
Madden dipped his hand into his pocket, and the beam got his elbow, giving him another deep cut.
“Madden stop moving!” Maya shouted when she saw his blood dropping on the ground from under his suit.
“Chill, I don’t feel it” Madden calmly replied, getting his phone out.
He placed it on the pulpit, and another beam cut his tummy as he played a voice record on the phone.
“Madd!!!” Maya cried again, but he just smirked as his blood stained his black undershirt, then the record began playing.
“Where are you taking my semen to? You just suddenly told me to masturbate for you and… And I thought you finally noticed me” Corey’s voice said, and Selesta’s bones tensed.
“Noticed you? We have the same thing under our damn pants, so there’s no way I’ll do shits with you. Get over it” Madden’s voice said without attachments.
“Then what are you gonna do with my semen?” Corey’s voice said.
“Donation” Madden replied nonchalantly, and the record ended.
“You…you submitted Corey’s semen?” Klara froze.
“Shocked?” Madden smirked again.
“It’s a lie!!!” Zoya cried out, moving in the process.
She got cut on the back.
“Arggghhhhhhh!!!” She yelped…
“Stay still, Zoya! Stay still!” Sergei shouted.
“I suspected it” Maya muttered with cold teeth, folding her fists nervously.
The mere sight of Nazeera in the cloak is scaring so much, and she’s trying her best to not pass out.
“You’re a step ahead again, aren’t you?” Selesta finally talked with a sad smile.
“What are you gonna do? You now have choices… Aren’t I so benevolent?” Madden replied with a squint.
“There’s nothing benevolent about you, you’re a beast!!!!” Selesta yelled.
“A beast you made! It all started when you began injecting me with that shit, and now you’re complaining? You don’t have that right” Madden muttered, the white in his eyes reddening.
“Why don’t you listen to my story first, everyone? You can’t move anyways, so even if it takes all day, listen to me!” She seethed, taking deep breaths.
“I was kidnapped from Iran, by Ivan. Ivan visited Iran for a business back then, and he developed instant lust for me immediately he set eyes on me that day at my father’s mosque. He stole me” she muttered as a tear fell from her eyes.
