That was the last thing she said before Madden stormed out of the ward.
She thought it was over, but he came back five minutes later, raging like harmattan fire with two bottles in his right hand.
His eyes were glossing with rage as he opened the first bottle and forced her mouth open.
Poe was gurgling as he poured the liquid in her mouth.
That instant, her tongue gummed to the base of her mouth, so she became mute automatically, unable to talk.
Madden opened the second bottle and poured the content on her two hands.
Her hands began shaking like an old granny’s, unable to hold anything.
She tried talking, but only saliva came out of her mouth. She couldn’t.
“Good. Now you’re silent. Welcome to my former damn world” Madden said with zero empathy then threw the two empty bottles into the trash before exiting the ward.
After he left, Malik came peeping into the ward, watching Poe struggling to talk.
“He muted her? Why?” He wondered curiously.

Madden met Igor and Andrei outside the clinic immediately he stepped out, and he rolled eyes habitually, waiting for the trash he’s gonna spew.
“What did you go inside my clinic to do again? Break cameras? Destroy doors?” Igor questioned.
“I plan to break your head next, that’s more entertaining. Go play with pu$$ies, I’m not in the mood for you” Madden hit back and resumed walking.
“Tomorrow’s mission. You better prepare well. I won’t go easy on you” Igor said.
“I love it hard and rough” Madden replied without looking back, disappearing down the bloc.
“Why will the Pakhan involve two teams in the mission anyways?” Andrei talked.
“Father didn’t involve him, they don’t talk anymore. That bastard just loves pissing me off” Igor replied, and then Sin and Trixie appeared.
“You both finally decided to come out of your cocoon” Igor said.
“Aren’t we a team for tomorrow’s mission? Since it’s now Smirnov against Orlovs” Sin replied casually, and Igor smiled.
“Nah. It’s Madden against Orlovs. Maya is too weak to fight anyways” he said.
“Maya is not weak” Andrei replied, and Igor faced him.
“You said?” He glared.
“Nothing” Andrei replied, and Igor scoffed.
