CHAPTER 54

Axel watched as Melanie entered a class, he was about to go after her when he suddenly stopped himself.

“What am I doing?” He sighed.

He made to turn but he found himself walking to the class Melanie entered.

Audrey who was walking around saw him, a smile left her lips and she walked to the class.

She was about to enter but quickly stopped herself when she saw Melanie.

“That bch again?” She rolled her eyes in anger.

She decided to see what they were up to.

HEARTS COLLISION : CHAPTERS 51 – 60

Melanie was walking to sit on an empty chair when she felt movement behind her. She turned and was surprised to see Axel.

“You?”

“Why are you here in an empty class? Are you okay?” Axel asked.

“Why are you always here when I feel down?” Melanie mumbled but he clearly heard her.

“Honestly, I don’t know. I just find myself getting mixed up in your business” he muttered and went closer.

“Are you okay?” He asked.

Melanie shook her head and sat on a table lightly.

“I don’t know. I really thought she was going to be remorseful when she heard about my parents, but it turns out that she wasn’t” she sighed.

“I really wished to stop caring about her,” she added.

“It won’t be easy,” Axel suddenly said.

“Huh?”

“Can I ask you a question?” He asked.

“Yea,”

“Do you have any plans of going back to Ace?” He asked.

“Can I ask a question too?” She asked.

“Yea,”

“The girl at the house, is she your girlfriend?”

“No, she’s no one”

“So, do you?” He asked.

“I don’t. I’m not going back to him,” she muttered.

Axel breathed out in relief which surprised him. He knew he shouldn’t be doing this but he had no control of himself at that moment.

“Last night, you said I should stop smoking,” he muttered, moving closer till their faces were so close

“I did?” Melanie muttered in surprise.

“Yea. You hate guys who smoke, don’t you?” He asked.

“Er… Yes. I’ve always wanted you to stop smoking but…”

“Then stop me,” he suddenly said.

“What?”

“I want you to stop me right now,” he whispered.

Melanie swallowed hard as her heart started beating fast. He was so close and his cologne clouded all her sense of reasoning.

Subconsciously, her hand went to his shirt and pulled his head to her, pressing her lips on it.

Axel’s eyes widened, he wasn’t expecting that from her.

Her lips moved on his for a while and when she finally got her senses back, she quickly broke the kss

“Er…” She stared at his chest in embarrassment.

“Did that work?” She asked slowly, feeling embarrassed.

Axel smiled and lifted her chin so she could look at him.

“It did,” he pulled her to him and slammed his lips on hers, kssing her with deep affection.

Audrey’s eyes widened and she stumbled back in shock. She turned and ran out of the place, her legs shaking badly.

Melanie released a soft moan into his lips as his lips moved on hers seductively.

Axel broke the kiss and raised his hand, rubbing her wet lips with it.

“Let’s make a bet,” he murmured.

“If you pass it, you’ll be my girlfriend,” he said.

Melanie stared at him.

“What if I fail?” She asked breathlessly.

“I’ll be your boyfriend,” he whispered.
