~LANCELOT CONGLOMERATE~
Karen came to meet them in that position, the smile on her face fell instantly. The bag she was holding fell from her hand without her knowing.
Andrew quickly pushed sapphire away and stood up.
“Karen……” He called and took a step closer to her but she shifted backwards making him halt right on his step.
“Did I interrupt something?” Karen asked in a shaky voice, averting his gaze from Andrew to Sapphire, who had had triumphant smirk on her face.
Andrew opened his mouth to talk but nothing was coming out.
“I’m sorry” He just uttered.
“I apologize to barging into your office, I’ll take my leave now” Karen said before leaving. Andrew meant to run after her but he felt stuck, like his legs were glued to the ground. He couldn’t move an inch, he just watched her leave.
“Good riddance” Sapphire said with a smirk.
“Leave my office this instant” Andrew said in a low voice burying his head in his palm.
“Seriously? Are you sending me out od your office? Just like that? I came because I missed you and…….
“To hell with you missing me!” Andrew yelled angrily scattering the files on his table. He turned to Sapphire with his eyes bloodshot. Just by looking at him, one could tell that he was trying really hard to hold himself back.
Sapphire shifted away from him without being told, she has never seen him Thu angry before. If looks could kill, she would probably be six feet deep that moment.
“Get your f**king self out of my office this instant and I don’t want to ever set my eyes on you, from this point and even in your next life. Next time we meet, let’s pretend as if we are strangers” Andrew said taking his words one after the other.
“Honey bunch!!” Sapphire called stomping her feet on the floor.
“How can I survive…..
The look Andrew gave her next made her swallow her words. She dragged herself out of his office without waiting time.
Andrew punched the wall angrily, transferring his aggression on the wall. He continued punching the wall until his hand bleed.
He shifted backwards, running his hand through his hair.

~KIMORA’S APARTMENT~
Kimora opened the door wider for Karen who entered the apartment dragging her suitcase with her. She slumped on one of the couches and her eyes went shut momentarily.
Kimora just watched her from afar with a lot of questions running through her mind. She have a lot of ask Karen but on seeing the state she was in, she decided against it.
She went to the fridge to grab a can of soft drink and she placed it in front of Karen. The sound made Karen to open her eyes and she forced a smile on seeing the canned drink in front of her.
“You can drink it, it’s 0% non alcoholic so you are safe” Kimora said without being told.
“Thanks” Karen said taking a sip from it.
“In between, I have a surprise for you” Kimora chuckled. Karen’s eyes lit up immediately.
“Tada!” Kimora exclaimed, it was at that point that Luciana came into the living room.
“Who is she?” Karen asked.
“I am Luciana Park” Luciana answered with a sad smile moving closer to Karen who stood up.
“If this is a plan work between you two,then I am out. I’ll just find somewhere else” Karen said.
“Why don’t you listen to what she has to say first?” Kimora said.
“Who should I listen to? Her? For goodness sake! Why should I listen to the same person who never listen to me? Just why? The same person who shut me out when I needed her most, the same person who called me a slût, the same person who ordered me out of her house and her life, the same person who….. almost poisoned my husband…..
Luciana fell on her both knees before Karen could even finish.
“And this girl here, regret all of it. I regret the awful words, I’m deeply sorry. I’ve been thinking about the whole thing for a while now and my head can’t seem to wrap around the fact that I acted stupid, very stupid” Luciana said at the point of tears.
Karen took a deep breathe looking elsewhere trying to hide her tears.
“I miss us” Luciana continued.
“I miss the times we spent together, I missed those times we cried together, those times we laughed together. I miss everything” She added.
“Give me a chance to make it right, just one more chance” Luciana practically begged.
“I’ve never for once forgotten about you, I still think of you and I always pray secretly for this day to come” Karen said blinking her lashes rapidly trying to hold back her tears.
She went over to Luciana who was on the floor and pulled her up before hugging her.
“Awwn” Kimora gushed joining the hug.

“I caught Andrew kissing his adopted sister or should I say the sister kissed him?” Karen narrated everything to her friends.
“And?”
“What else, here I am” Karen replied.
“You just left like that? We both know that Andrew wouldn’t do that, she probably forced herself on him. You should have taught her a lesson to stay away from your man. Besides, who in the world have romantic feelings for a sibling?” Kimora muttered.
“Sapphire does” Karen answered without being told to.
“Can we go there now? I badly want to slap some senses to that empty brain of hers. You should have stepped up, beat her blue black or something. Make her taste blood in those filthy mouth of hers…..
“Kimora!” Karen called laughing already.
“That’s what you should do anytime you see anyone close to Andrew. You are not called Mrs Lancelot for nothing” Kimora said.
“So…. why are you here and not in your husband’s house?”
“I don’t know either, I just picked my things and here I am” Karen answered. She took a deep breathe before she continued talking.
“I want to know what Andrew would do, I actually want him to step up this time. A part of me wants to rush to him while another part of me wants to wait for him. I just don’t know what to do…..
Karen was crying as she spoke.
Luciana moved closer to her before pulling her into a comforting hug while giving her gentle pat on her shoulder.
“Whatever you do, just know we are always here for you and you can stay here as long as you want” Luciana said soothingly.
“Anyone listening to you should think you own the house” Kimora joked.
“Are you going to chase us out of your house then?” Luciana retorted, placing emphasis on “your house”
“Whatever, I have to go and meet my boyfriend” Kimora said.
“Really!? Who is he?” Luciana asked.
“It’s a secret, you might just trip for him if I tell you” Kimora answered with a wink.
“Catch ya later singles” She added and walked out almost immediately.
“I am not single but married!” Karen called after her causing Luciana to laugh out.
“I guess I am the single one here” Luciana said. She suddenly took Karen by the hand.
“Tell me everything that has been going on so far; your marriage life, the baby…. just everything” She said to Karen with a smile.
“Okay” Karen answered thoughtfully.
“I’ll get you a drink, just a minute” Luciana said standing up.

Redford knocked on the door for the umpteenth time before deciding to go in. He met Andrew staring into the space absentminded and lost in thoughts, his eyes were on his laptop but he seem lost in his own world.
He slowly moved closer and peeped to whatever Andrew was looking at one the screen. Andrew didn’t even notice him the whole time.
“How to make a woman forgive you” He read out loudly, his hot breathe fanned Andrew neck and that jolted him back to reality.
“When did you get there?” Andrew questioned with a frown shutting down the system.
“Do you have to do that? I’ve seen it all already. How to make a woman forgive you; firstly, apologize for whatever you did, show true remorse and also tell her how much you love her. Make sure the same never happen again” Redford quoted.
“Why are you here?” Andrew threw another question at him.
“Did you and Karen have a fight? What are you trying to apologize for?” Redford asked without bothering to answer Andrew’s question.
“She caught Sapphire kissing me” Andrew blurted out.
“What!!?”
“She kissed me not the other way round” Andrew snapped at Redford whose eyes were like they could pop out of their socket.
“And I couldn’t say anything in the end and she left with tears in her eyes” He added.
“What are you planning on doing? That seems like something huge” Redford asked.
“I don’t know….. I’m still confused”
“Why would Sapphire kiss you?”
“I don’t know too” Andrew answered.
“Is there anything you know then? You should try to avoid Sapphire for the time being” Redford adviced.
“I already cut her off” Andrew answered.
“Not bad, I’m off” Redford says standing up.
“Where are you going to?”
“Home” Redford answered.
“Why?”
“It’s past nine o’clock and I don’t remember signing for an overtime job” Redford retorted.
“Hold on….” Andrew called stopping Redford from leaving.
“What do you think I should say to her?”
“My advice is that you should open up to her and stop hiding your feelings. Before you say anything else, I already know you love her” Redford winked at him before leaving.

~LANCELOT MANSION~
Andrew entered the house only to be greeted by silence. He made his way up the stair with his heart beating fast at every step he took.
On getting to Karen’s door, he took a deep and long breathe before knocking the door.
“Wifey!” He called out when he got no reply. He hesitated for a while before opening the door. He met the door to the closer open and it was empty. Just by staring at the room, one could tell that something was missing.
Just right there, Andrew broke down falling on his butt. He shut his eyes tightly trying to hold back his tears but he couldn’t. It just flowed freely….. It feels like a part of him left him.
It hasn’t been up to a few hours but he misses her already; her miss her smile, her seductive winks, her way of biting her lips, her food and her presense.
“I miss her” He admittedly freely.
He grabbed his phone to call Redford, the only person that could understand him at that point.
“Hey” Redford’s voice came up.
“She left” Andrew said, trying hard not to make his voice sound weak.
“Kimora told me already” Redford replied.
“What do I do? What if she never comes back? I guess you were right, I’ve successfully pushed her away….. I feel…. empty” Andrew said.
“Just give her time okay? Rest well and let’s think of what next to do tomorrow, it’s late already. Karen is fine according to what Kimora said” Redford uttered.
“I might just die any moment from now, she is like the oxygen breathe” Andrew blurted out.
“Okay Mr Lover boy, I’ll go with Kimora to see her and then tell you when you can come over” Redford concluded before hanging up.
Andrew just sat still, motionless.

~KIMORA’S APARTMENT~
Karen looked up from her phone as soon as kimora entered. She had been staring at her phone screen all day waiting for his(Andrew) call but none came.
Luciana left a few minutes ago.
“Hey Mrs Lancelot!” Kimora greeted gleefully beaming in all smile.
“Hey, Redford’s girlfriend” Karen answered with so much difficulty.
“What were you up to?” Kimora asked.
“I had drinks with Luciana, she just left a few minutes ago” Karen answered, squeezing her face a little.
“Are you okay?” Kimora couldn’t help but ask on noticing her countenance.
“Yeah, I’m…..
Karen did get to complete her statement when a groan escaped her lips. That got Kimora alerted already.
“What’s wrong?”
“I feel slight pains in my stomach region”
“Is the pregnancy due yet?” Redford who just came in asked.
“It’s barely four months dummy!” Kimora snapped at him before turning back to Karen who was still wiggling in pains.
“How long have you been feeling the pains?” She inquired.
“It came when I was having a drink with Luciana but the pains subsided a few minutes later and then…..
Tears rolled down from Karen eyes as she pressed her both lips together.
“It hurts! It hurts” She whimpered.
“Let’s get you to the hospital first” Kimora said helping her to stand up.
“Get the car ready” She said to Redford.
As Karen stood up, she left something trickling down her legs and she bent down a little to check.
“Blood” She said with widened eyes.
