HER FIRST TIME : CHAPTER 11 – 20

“Robby … I’m sorry I said that.”

“I know. It’s OK. We’re old friends. Forget it. Kind of an honor you thought of me that way, really.” He tried to laugh it off.

He poured and they sat on a small sofa looking out into the dark. There was a low light on the dresser. The windows were floor to ceiling, framing the scene.

“Beautiful isn’t it?” he said as he handed her the water glass filled to about three fingers high.

“Yes, it’s ironic. For everyone else it is causing disruption and difficulty. Doesn’t seem quite right that we are actually enjoying it.” There should be a point to be made there, but she couldn’t quite connect the dots.

“Here’s to you, kid! As they say in the movies.” He was trying to return the evening to its light carefree moments.

Her robe parted over crossed knees, showing the red dress and half her stockinged thigh up to the dark band at the top. She fought it momentarily, then forgot about it.

“Tastes good.” She said quietly.

His arm was resting behind her and he dropped it lower to put his arm in contact with her shoulders. She moved slightly, only slightly, but in his direction.

“I want to kiss you again.”

She looked at him.

He bent toward her. Their lips met. The taste of the Grand Marnier, they shared. It was a long kiss and their tongues eagerly played together.

Katy felt the tingling sensation spread throughout her body. It had been a long time since a kiss, even a deep French kiss had thrilled her that way. “That’s the way it is in marriage, things aren’t as exciting as they were at first.” She thought. This one was now raging through her body.

“Have you noticed that kisses in married life lose their excitement?”

“Yes.” He replied, searching her eyes for where she was going. “Why?”

“Oh, I just wondered. I’ve never asked anyone that. I was afraid it might be just me that thought that. It’s a ridiculous question I guess.”

“But?” he said. “There was always a ‘but’ following that kind of remark with you in the old days.

She laughed. “I guess so. The ‘but’ is…” she pondered whether to say it, then went ahead, the alcohol loosening her tongue. “Just then … when we … Frenched … it was exciting.

That’s all. I felt the tingle that used to be a part to kissing when we were young and new and all. I can’t believe it is just age that dulls it. I think it is familiarity and habit that saps the thrill out of it. Don’t you?”

“Yeah … I guess so … but I have noticed it before … and that kiss a minute ago. Well … I found it very exciting, just like when we were teens in the old Chevy. So it wasn’t the way Chevrolet built cars either.”

“Good. I’m OK then.” She laughed.

His hand had found her breast and she had pressed it into his palm this time.

Her good-girl head was screaming inside, but she pressed it into his hand, wanting him to have it and wanting his caress in return.

He tenderly squeezed and explored the globe. He weighed it in his hand and marveled at its size and shape.

“Let me see?”

She thrust out her chest and he pulled the dress open. Her breast stood out like a drop of rain he had once seen on the leaf of a tree after a light spring rain.

It was poised to run downward but stood still in teardrop shape on her body. It looked so tender and fresh and clean and perfectly shaped that he could hardly speak.

Her nipples seemed perfect too, jutting hard and exciting. His mouth watered with desire to suck them into his mouth.
