Slade finished playing and stood. She stood with him.
“Go back to your room, the day will soon break” he said.
Slowly, she took his right hand, looking up at his face.
“Don’t chase me. The little truth I know about myself, you’re the one who told me. Even my own papa won’t tell me a thing, so even if you tell me to leave, I won’t” she said.
Slade immediately took his hand from her, roughly.
“Are you dumb? I might kill you anytime. You saw what happened last night…
“Last night wasn’t you… you were being controlled, I know” she interrupted.
“It can happen again, silly girl. I’m a predator, I’ll kill you! You were created to die for me, don’t you fuçking get it? Leave, Twilight” he said her full name for the first time, and Twilight gulped.
“Leave” he repeated, turning around.
He started walking to the cat, but she suddenly hugged him from behind, wrapping her arms on his body.
She nearly couldn’t hold all of him cos of how big he is, but she made sure the little she held, she held it madly tight.
“No. I’m not leaving, killa. I won’t leave” she whispered.
Slade shut his eyes, staying still.

WESLEY TOWER*
Lorraine is the only one in the tower again as it always is most of the time.
Lord Vann is probably in the admin office, working his @ss off.
Lorraine is standing in front of the picture frame in the living room again, staring at it attentively.
She walked away from it after a while, getting her phone.
She went to gallery and clicked on a picture. It’s a picture of Slade.
His hair is long and braided in an all-back style like a girl’s, and he’s carrying a cat in his arms.
The picture was snapped seven years ago when he was twenty.
That was the first time she set eyes on him, the day she fell in love with him.
Tamlin went to the orphanage to see Isobel that day, and he was taking too long, so Lorraine went to get him.

FLASHBACK, ARCADE HOME~ 7 YRS AGO*
Lorraine’s car drove into the orphanage, and the ball from the kids nearly hit her in the face, but she quickly ducked.
“Is this where Tamlin comes? This smelly place? Geez!” She gasped, covering her nose and almost falling on her heels as she walked.
* Whoa! she’s beautiful!
* Her dark hair!
* Her pomelo scent!
When she heard the comments from the kids, she scoffed.
Of course she’s beautiful, and she knows it
She was searching the orphanage for any sign of Tamlin till she got to the orchard where she heard Isobel’s voice.
She took a step back, only to see her standing in front of the most beautiful boy she has ever seen.
Boys are supposed to be handsome, but this one is too beautiful with the braided hair and his cat.
He’s sitting on a log of wood, and he’s staring into space as Isobel tried to start a conversation with him, but he’s not replying at all.
Lorraine’s heart was beating wildly for him as she secretly snapped him with her phone.
“Mother?” Tamlin appeared, but when he saw Isobel with Slade, he quickly ran there and pulled her.
“Next time you come close to me, I’ll kill you” Slade said blankly, directing the words at Isobel.
“Fûck you!” Tamlin replied hatefully and pulled Isobel out of the garden.
Lorraine followed them behind, and Isobel’s diary fell as she got pulled by Tamlin.
Lorraine picked the diary up, and what Isobel wrote inside was unexpected.

BACK TO THE PRESENT*
Lorraine went back to the bedroom and got the diary from her locked drawer.
She sat in bed as she began reading the quotes Isobel wrote inside.
“DEAR DIARY, I DUNNO HOW TO TELL TAMLIN THAT I’VE FALLEN FOR SLADE”
“HONESTLY, I DON’T WANNA BREAK TAMLIN’S HEART, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, SLADE IS IRRESISTIBLE”
“I WANT HIM SO BAD”
“HE DOESN’T EVEN WANT TO TALK TO ME”
“I WISH HE’D LET ME TOUCH HIS HAIR OR DO HIS NEXT BRAID”
“I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!”
Lorraine laughed as she read the quotes, but the laughter didn’t last as she stood from the bed, walking around the room.
She remembered how this diary awoke a beast in her that year, and she did justice to Isobel by herself.
She had gone to the orphanage at midnight next day, using Tamlin’s phone to text Isobel to come to the well side.
She pushed Isobel into the well that night.
Tamlin and everyone else believes Slade pushed her.
Another set of people believes it’s the midnight killer, but…
Lorraine did it.
“She shouldn’t have craved for Slade. She shouldn’t have deceived Tamlin.” Lorraine said, laughing out loud.
