The room is a small one with one bed, but there’s no fireplace like the attic, so it’s slightly cold.
Twilight started looking around immediately Slade dropped her.
There’s a change of clothes in bed for just her, so she quickly stripped her wet clothes and changed into them.
Slade on the other hand is by the other side of the room, making a call to Uriel.
“Send the guards back. Yeah…I got her. Won’t be back till tomorrow”
He hung up and turned around to see Twilight in bed already.
“How did you find me here?” She asked.
“I was around this mountain when I got a signal, and I drove here” he replied, removing his wet coat and shirt.
“That must be when I went to the southern side” she replied, watching him take off his pants too.
Surprisingly, the two only look wet on the outside, his body is dry cos the materials are waterproof.
“You’re really very rich, aren’t you?” She said.
“You want some money?” He replied.
“I don’t want your money” she rolled eyes.
“Interesting” he replied, settling beside her in bed. He’s only wearing his shorts.
Before she knew it, he pulled her to himself, covering the two of them together.
“Isn’t this the part where you’re supposed to sleep on the ground?” She said.
“If you still think I’m a gentleman at this point, then you’re a dummy” He replied, shutting his eyes.
Twilight wriggled, but he only held her tighter, their bodies rubbing under the covers, making her stop.
She looked up at his face, and when she saw his eyes closed, she relaxed, staring deeply at him.
He slept in bed with her?
As much as she doesn’t want to read a meaning to it, she couldn’t stop herself, and he’s still so damn dangerous even with his eyes closed like this.
Slowly, she began bringing her hand to his face.

ARGENTUM HOSPITAL*
“Welcome, sir.”
The nurses were greeting repeatedly as Greg entered the hospital, carrying a basket of supplements for Owen.
He’s putting on a long shawl cover-sweater, so his cut arm is not obvious.
He entered Owen’s ward, dropping the basket of supplements on the table before going to her side.
He bent over her head and kissed it, smiling afterwards.
Owen just lay there, looking at him wordlessly.
“Don’t worry, I’m doing this for the two of us” he said, brushing her hair with his fingers.
“I’ll soon achieve what I’m after, and when that day comes, I promise you’ll leave this hospital and start living in good health. We’ll be together again, Owen” he smiled.
He sighed , his mind going back to Tamlin and the ring he gave him.
“The doomsday is hear” he smiled.
