Slade stood too, pushing Elijah back to his seat before bringing his face down to him so his words would penetrate better.
“You said something earlier about how you touched my moonslave’s arm and how she was so small” he said, grabbing Elijah’s shoulder bone and breaking it.
“Bastard!!” Elijah groaned, trying to stand, but Slade pinned him down.
“If it was Aimee who broke it, you’d reset it effortlessly, but it’s me. I’m stronger than you so it’ll take days to heal. The attention you’re looking for?
Don’t make the mistake of looking for it from me cos you’ll earn death instead, and about my moonslave, that should be the last time you ever…I mean ever! Touch her” Slade muttered gravelly, his words burning through Elijah’s skin like embers.
Elijah managed to push Slade off himself with one hand, slamming him down to the second chair.
“Do you still hate me this much cos you still think I’m the midnight killer?” He said.
“I don’t think you’re the killer, I know you are” Slade glared.
“I swear on my life! I didn’t kill anybody with your face! I hated you before I left home but that was years ago, and my threats are empty!
Why the fûck would I waste my years killing people with your face when there are bitçhes to bang? I was in Tenebrae throughout, and I only just returned to Glennville this year” Elijah said.
“Your breath in lies, Elijah Luther. I have no reason to believe you” Slade pushed him off and stood.
“What if I can prove it to you that I’m not the killer? That there’s another person with the infinity ring out there” Elijah said, and Slade smirked as Elijah came closer.
“Aimee’s ring and my own have the same powers, but your ring possess more powers cos of your curse, and that’s why you’re stronger than the two of us. You see the midnight killer?
I can bet he’s ten times stronger than you, and he’s somewhere in this school, enjoying everything. Whoever it is, he’s your real rival, not me” Elijah continued.
Slade turned his back on Elijah, his eyes going wild.
“I’ll prove it to you soon, that I’m not the killer” Elijah said again, and Slade walked out of the infirmary.
Elijah tried to reset his broken shoulder bone, but he couldn’t.
He struggled for complete ten minutes, sweating profusely before he could reset, but the shoulder is still so painful.
It’d really stay painful for days before it’d heal.
“That bastard. I wanted his aggressive side but he took it too far” he muttered, groaning.

Slade ran into Lord Vann on his way back to the attic, and the man was already smiling even before he got to him.
“Thank you, Professor Slade”
“For?” Slade tilted his head.
“Your father sent the guards that are currently guarding the castle, and for a week now…there has been no midnight killings or monthly kidnaps. Students feel safe” Lord Vann said.
“Give Timothy the credit, not me” Slade replied uninterested.
“I know you hate him, but he’s still your father. He became the biggest sponsor in this school because you’re a professor in here. This university is still functioning cos of your father, and I’m grateful for that” Lord Vann smiled.
“I’m not the midnight killer to you anymore?” Slade smirked.
“I know you’re not, but you enjoy the hate, isn’t that why you’re not denying?” Lord Vann said.
“And where did you hear this from?” Slade frowned
“Elijah…your brother told me” Vann said.
“Twat” Slade muttered, and Lord Vann smiled.
“I notice you’re close to Miss Kent, so I have to tell you this,” he said.
