HER HEARTLESS MONSTER : CHAPTER 111 – 120
7PM*
The search for Twilight has been ongoing for close to an hour now, and not only the estate guards are involved.
Timothy released numerous guards from the island too, and the town of Glennville is currently full of guards in black, searching every nook and cranny for Twilight.
There has been no sign of her, no signal from her GPS, her phone number is still not reachable too.
It became worse when rain started falling again, even heavier than the morning rain.
The guards got drenched as they continued running from house to house, unable to stop at Slade’s orders
Slade was moving differently, his bearings are faster than their own, and his mouth is widely open throughout.
He’s unable to close it as he stood still in the middle of a road, driving his fingers into his full hair.
“You should have killed her when you had the chance, cos I’m very sure the unknown rival got her already” a familiar voice said behind him, and he turned around to see Aimee standing there like nemesis.
“Happy deathday in advance, brother. She’s probably dead as we speak” she said.
Slade clenched his jaws, raising his palm to his chest to feel it.
It’s beating again, just like the other time. Even louder.
“You’re wrong.” He muttered.

TEMPLE OF THE DAMNED*
Located in the high mountains of Glennville, the temple is a place of rest for sojourners homeless people who seek refuge and prayers.
The temple network is damaged since it’s far town, so anyone there has no connection to the outside world.
There are shamans, monks and priests who work collectively to keep the temple in shape.
When Owen was still very much ok, she comes to the temple to pray and give offerings to the needy everyday.
Twilight decided to come here after leaving the hospital.
With her pocket money, she bought some bread and jam to offer.
Though she only followed Owen to the temple once, but the priests recognize her as Owen’s daughter.
She’s currently wearing an apron, helping some women to serve meals to the homeless people inside it.
“More bread, please” One of the old men said, and she smiled before dropping one more on his plate.
“Thanks for visiting, Twilight. How is Owen faring? I went to see her last week” the chief priest asked.
“She’s…she’s just there.” Twilight said, and the man sighed.
“We’ll continue to pray for her”
“Thank you” Twilight smiled, dropping the remaining bread on her tray for the last man before going to her bag to get her phone.
She tried calling Echo, but it’s not going through.
“It won’t work, unless you go to the southern side of the mountain” one of the monks told her.
“Oh..” Twilight sounded.
She covered her head with a shawl since there’s no available umbrella.
She proceeded to the southern part of the mountain and stood on the edge, dialling Echo’s line.
She’ll tell her that she’s gonna spend the night here since she can’t go back to the castle anymore this rainy night.
The signal finally came, but it’s not even enough to make a call.
The call was dropping each time she dialled.
She even tried Rihannon and Damien’s, but they’re dropping too.
She gave it some time and dialled them individually again,… there’s still no change.
“They’ll be worried” she muttered.
“Should have told them I was coming here” she muttered.
