On their way there, she saw Slade sitting in a couch room, pressing an iPad.

He’s even chewing gum. It’s the first time he saw him doing that, and is it normal for a man to look gorgeous eating gum?

The way he’s chewing it slowly, and the way his sharp jaws are…

“Miss?” The attendants broke into her fantasy, and she followed them into the fitting room.

Slade looked up from the iPad finally.

“Any good phone store in this area?” He asked the remaining attendants, spitting out his gum and trashing it.

“Down the lane, we have a gadget store, and we sell the best” they replied him.

One of them came out of the fitting room.

“She wants you to zip up for her” she said.

Slade’s brows did a hot dip before he stood, pocketing one hand and walking into the room.

Twilight is wearing a low-cut blue gown, she’s not wearing the shoes yet.

She’s standing in front of a mirror and obviously fidgeting as she awaited him.

He went behind her, and the first thing he did was removing the damn band from her hair.

He added the band to the one on his wrist before, then he moved her hair away from her back to her shoulder.

The moment he held the zip and made to ride it up, Twilight turned.

As fast as fladh, she slid her arms up his neck, wrapping it there, though she had to stand on her toes to do it.

Her lashes went up, and she spoke without hesitating.

“Greg said your family named me. Who among the Luthers gave me Twilight Kent?” She asked.

Slade’s brows knitted as their eyes locked.

‘”Who?” She whispered.

Slade’s eyes bored into her insides.

FLASHBACK, AGE 13~ ARCADE HOME*

Slade is in the orchard as usual, stroking Onyx’s fur when his phone rang beside him.

It’s Grandpa Cedric calling.

“Your moonslave is here. Greg finally completed the ritual, and she arrived last night. We only have to wait for you two two meet coincidentally before you kill her, but then she needs a full name. Her picture might help, so I sent one” Cedric said on phone.

Slade held him on before checking the picture he sent.

It’s a picture of 8 years old Twilight, sleeping under immaculately white covers.

He didn’t even look at it twice before the name rang in his head like a dark symphony, so he went back to the call.

“Twilight” he said.

“Good, the surname?” Grandpa Cedric asked.

“Kent” Slade replied.

“Twilight Kent? You’re a genius, grandson!” Grandpa Cedric grinned.

BACK TO THE PRESENT*

“It’s you” Twilight muttered, her eyes wide in shock, balancing back on her foot.

“I knew you since the start, this madness didn’t start today” he replied with a slight frown etched on his brows.

“Why haven’t you killed me?” She sniffled.

“You’re fun to toy with” he growled, and she smiled despite the tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

“I promise to never take Tamlin’s side anymore. I won’t do it again” she said.

“You’re free to try, and I’ll kill him” he gritted out.

“And you’re free to toy with me anyhow and anyway you want it. I’ll take it all, I’ll take everything, even your hell” she whispered.

“You have no idea what you just signed, little one” he whispered back his eyes darkening.

“I don’t care. Kils. I. Don’t. Care.” She muttered, closing her eyes and standing on her tippy toes again.

She pressed her lips on his own, the softness molding them together with a sensational aura.

Slade’s eyes went shut too, and he threw his large arms around her, bending to her level.

A mixture of dark-hot-hell and sweet-warm-paradise happened the moment he slid his wicked tongue inside her hungry waiting mouth.

Twilight moaned.
