SAME NIGHT, A HIDDEN CAVERN*
In the deep green forest of Glennville, located in the middle of nowhere, a cavern thrived in the middle of a huge rock.
Inside the cavern, is another world entirely.
There are different segments and different workers in brown uniforms, nose masks and caps, walking around with their various tasks.
The cavern is built like the head office of an empire, so each segment is wide cos it’s indeed an empire.
Empire K, the dark world where the Kontrol elixir is made and distributed to the outside world.
A larger part of the segments are labs for carrying out the experiments and preparing the elixir.
Another part are surveillance rooms where another set of staffs are in front of big screens, and on the screens, they could see every nook and cranny of the university.
They watch the university, day and night, and that’s why their kidnaps run smoothly.
Another segment houses cages, and inside the cages, there are some students, crying despite the plate of food beside them.
“Please let me go!! I’m an orphan”
“Please spare my life…”
“I want to live!!”
Different cries filled that segment, but no one is even listening to them.
One of the staffs in brown suddenly came out of the lab, walking to the center.
“The second experiment failed. The blood from her tongue was negative” he announced.
Another staff came out of the surveillance room.
“Then take another one and continue. We have to distribute the next batch of the elixir before dusk tomorrow.” He said.
That one sounds like the leader of the staffs.
“What if K finds out? He hates wastage” the lab staff asked.
“K is not visiting till next week, so just do your job. Cleaners will dispose the body” the staff leader replied.
Another student was dragged out of the cage, and she was crying hopelessly as she was pulled into the lab like an animal.
The staff leader retrieved his phone from his pocket when it began ringing.
“K” is on the caller ID.
K is the boss here.
“Hello, boss” he picked respectfully.
“When is the next batch going out?” K asked, his voice cool.
“Before dusk tomorrow. But we’re running out of specimens. Only three students are left in the cage so we have to go for another kidnap soon, and we’re not taking one student this time. The demand for the elixir is getting higher, we need more students” he replied.
“I’ll contact our spy in the school. We should plan the next operation before next week” K replied.
“I’ll wait for your next call, boss” the staff leader said, hanging up.
He adjusted his mask before going back into the surveillance room.

Coming out of the tower, Molly was the first person Lorraine saw
She’s sitting on a chair in front of the tower, looking carefree as she rested her chin on the backrest.
Lorraine walked fast to her.
“What are you doing here?” She demanded.
“Wrong question. You should ask what I’m gonna do to you next if you refuse to give me the apology I asked for” Molly replied.
Lorraine dragged her up by the collar, and Molly laughed.
“If you don’t get the hell out of this area, I’ll get you arrested” Lorraine threatened with venom in her eyes.
“Get Molly Fell arrested? Is that a joke?” Molly said, roughly releasing herself from Lorraine.
